Buttered Brioche Bun
Pecan Crust & Strawberry Sauce
Steak was ok, not up to usual DF standards. It was prepared as requested, the meat was so so. The service was impeccable. Maybe an off night
Had a delicious birthday dinner. Food and service were both excellent. Highly recommended for a special occasion.
Very slow service
Went for my wife’s birthday and had a fabulous experience. Our server Brianna gave us the perfect mix of being attentive to our needs while also allowing us to dine in peace. The manager, Kate, came by to check on us as did another gentleman whose name I didn’t get. We have dined here before and it was nice to be remembered and acknowledged. We can’t say enough nice things about every aspect of our evening and Happy to say that my wife had a fantastic birthday for which I’ll get credit but Del Frisco’s and their staff did all the actual work.
Was a bit disappointed by the Wagyu steak portion.
2 hour wait. Very subpar food. Steak was similar to any everyday steakhouse, personnel was great.
New Years Eve
New Year’s Eve, 7:30 reservation, seated right on time which was impressive considering how busy this location was. Service was exceptional and professional, food was perfect, cocktails were divine. Greyson was extremely attentive, and genuine. Jorge L, was also fantastic with a quick sense of humor that kept us laughing. Almost a $600 tab between my wife and I, and it was totally worth it. Try the dry aged 16oz strip, medium, with a Johnny Blue on the rocks. Thank me later.
The food took an hour and a half to come out but it was New Year’s Eve so understandable. The service was good and the food was delicious.
The food, drinks, service, and ambiance were fantastic. A+ all around.
Exceptional service by Kaitlyn last evening for a business meal. All aspects of the experience met or exceeded expectations. The timing, delivery of food accurately prepared and delicious, availability of a rare half-bottle and the amazing Lobster Mac&Cheese. A perfect evening.
Very slow service. We had heard this before going in so when we were seated we immediately ordered the meatballs. It took over 30 min to receive bread & 45 min to get the meatballs from when ordered. Food was excellent. We loved the creamed corn & creamed spinach. The streaks & scallops were cooked perfectly. Nice choice of wines.
Awesome location, great food, and excellent service
The staff may have been depleted by Covid but no one said so. At 12:15, the door was locked and we had to knock on window to get in.
After we ordered it took about 45 minutes for chowder and burgers and even then, the order was 1/4th wrong.
The waitress was pleasant and I suspect this was beyond her control but the visit was not one that would lead one to return.
Worst dining experience in years. We arrived early for our reservation, checked in and was advised to have a drink at the bar and they would call for us. Went to the bar, there were two bartenders and about ten patrons. One bartender stood talking to a customer for about 8 minutes, never checked for new customers. The second bartender spent her time cleaning the bar, after waiting for about ten minutes, she finally came over and took our drink order. We waited to be called for dinner but no one called. Our reservation time came and went and I watched other people being seated but not us. Went to check and was told, oh I forgot. We were seated. Our server was clueless about the menu. I wanted to order the Christmas prime rib special…she had no idea what I was talking about. Finally got our order in…I ordered my prime rib to be medium done. It was to come with horseradish sauce etc. And then we waited. The customers seated next to us ordered their entree about five minutes after we did. We continued to wait. The customers next to us received their entrees. We continued to wait. I went to the mens room and when I came back, there was a slab of something on a plate…nothing like prime rib and no sauces. I called our server and told her…she went and got it. I cut the meat, it was so well done, it was inedible. Really disappointed. I have no problem being patient in these times but I have no patience for poor food quality. The cut of meat was poor, the meat was poorly cooked and not as requested and the server/service was poor. For the prices they charge, one has a right to have high expectations of food quality and service…Del Frisco failed miserably on both counts. Will never make this mistake again.
We were seated right away and well taken care of. The meal was great. We received a complimentary cheesecake for my and my daughter’s birthday.
We had a wonderful meal and Courtney was a fantastic server! We will make this our new Christmas tradition!
For first time ever, found ourselves with nothing to do on Christmas (thanks to COVID) so my boyfriend and I decided to treat ourselves to a great meal at Del Frisco’s. At the advice of our waiter, we both ordered the bone-in filet and it was delicious. Actually everything we ordered…wedge salad, creamed spinach, banana bread pudding, wine, and manhattans were excellent. The only thing we noticed was that the portion size of the food seemed to be scaled back which we assume was due to rise in costs resulting from COVID. Our waiter was good but seemed to be having trouble tending to us because all his tables were in another room but it wasn’t a big deal since we had plenty of time and it was Christmas and felt bad that he had to work.
It was our first time eating at Del Frisco’s and we can’t wait to go back!
Food was so over salted it was inedible
Great meal, good time
Amazing experience, service and food. 10/10.
Something changed. I have been DF fan for years - Denver, Dallas, even waterfront in Boston…
We arrived an hour early but did not get seated until way past our reservation time.
Bone in filet was over salted . Foie Gras on top of it was swimming in regular unmelted butter.
Crab cakes sauce was lacking flavor and a kick
Famous del Friscos salad bacon was thin and tasted like Waffle House rather than thick cut I enjoyed for years at DF
The rolls were new and made me miss old freshly baked ones like I miss my old friends.
Very disappointed....the menu is very limited and expensive. No great experience with the service. It was our ANIVERSARY and they didn't care at all.....
My brother, spouses, and I have a Christmas Eve tradition of dinner together at a steakhouse. We usually pick a different restaurant every year, just to change it up. But we have come to Del Frisco’s for the second year because we enjoyed it so much. The ambiance is charming, contemporary but cozy. We loved our server this year, professional but so friendly and helpful. The noise level was quite low, no straining to hear each other. A couple of us had the dry age rib eyes, and another the tenderloin - perfectly cooked to the temps we requested. The sides are served family style and i would say are meant for two people, so we ordered four sides and each had enough. Yum.
Really good except one meal of eight was not prepared as requested. The second attempt was still not right. It was deducted from the bill as a reasonable accommodation
Everything was good
So good! Expensive, but nice.
Great food great service great wine great ambiance. We had a larger party of 9 and they handled it smoothly.
We were seated at 5pm and ordered quite quickly. We told out waiter we had Pops tickets for 7:30pm although we thought we had plenty of time. At 6:40pm we still did not have our food and our waiter was nowhere to be found. We stopped the hostess and asked her to locate our waiter! She approached a manager and within 5 minutes our food was delivered. The waited did thank us for our patience but never apologized and the manager never came over. We had to rush dinner to get out in time to make the show. Not a good experience for a $650 meal for five people! Very disappointed in the staffing and service!
The kitchen was backed up so our meal took several hours to complete.
Very disappointed with the service. First time going to this particular location on Boylston St. Boston. We won’t ever come back again. Service was awful.
We went for special occasion. We sat down we waited 28 min for our waitress to come to get at least our orders for the drinks and appetizers. The appetizers were 47mins late and cold. We complained to the manager “Michael” however we felt like he didn’t care. Overall, food was ok, the ambient sounds was good, awful experience with the service.
It took almost 2 hours to get our food even though it was not busy and they stress in the reservation that we only had 90 minutes for our meal. We told the waitress and manager multiple times we had to be at the Pops at 8pm and the manager said the only thing he could do was bring the check when the food came to speed things up. Very disappointing service for price of the meal.
Great food and even better service! Special shout out for the corn side dish..
Food was amazing as usual service was abit busy but they did an amazing job at compensating for us with drinks & desert
For an expensive steakhouse, we had a very poor experience. The staff forgot one item on one of our appetizers and forgot one entire part of the entrée which did not come out in time for dinner. Very poor service.
Had a great meal and time at this location for a guys' holiday steak outing. Bruce was our server and he could not have been better- great banter, recommendations and a very fun personality. He made our night!
My wife and I ordered the salmon and crab cakes. Both were very nicely prepared. In fact, the crab cakes were the best I have had at any restaurant. Great wait staff.
Extremely slow service. Put us in room where party of 25 with kids.
Slow service, food not coming out at same time. Two items never delivered to table .
