Food is very good, and our waiter, Guiseppi, made our experience excellent!
Very good dinner and lively place. Good choice of appetizer and entrees.
Outstanding dinner in every way. The spinach salad with grilled shrimp is fantastic and the fettuccine zucchini pesto is fresh light and layered with flavor. Staff is lovely and the atmosphere warm and inviting. The house Pinot was delicious and I adore the wheat bread with the herb olive oil. This is a Neighborhood Stand out!
Best Italian food in the area. And you can hear the people at your table speaking at a normal level---quiet.
Very good food at reasonable prices in pleasant setting with good service. Cannot go wrong.
Had beet salad, fettuccine with basil and veal scallopini. All were delicious and nicely presented.
Fantastic Italian restaurant. Every dish was delicious
Wonderful experience, amazing food, great service, best Italian food.
This is one of our favorites in the neighborhood. We wished that our zealous waitstaff could have modulated his tone though
The best experience, real italian food, great execution, and more than attentive service. Period.
The food is always consistently good and the staff is always stellar :-) We've been going there ever since they opened, even though we moved out of state; i.e., once a quarter when we come back to visit family.
Armando was our primary waiter and was entertaining and informative. Food was outstanding and that was consistent based on previous visits. Service was impeccable...not rushed at all. The last three occasions were with out of town visitors...all enjoyed the food and service.
Service was excellent. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Food was very good. My wife and I dined here for the first time and we will definitely go back.
Excellent food and service! A friend and I were able to book a last minute reservation for 2 and we were very impressed with the delicious dinner and dessert. I would definitely recommend Divino!
We like the food and ambiance and have taken two separate parties from out of town and they both enjoyed it. We were able to carry on conversations and enjoy the food as well.
The restaurant was very cozy and wonderful for a date night. Joe was an outstanding waiter. The food was excellent! My only wish was that I would have liked to see more than just salads on the appetizer menu like fried calamari.
Fabio was fabulous. Had good cocktails, Caesar salad & 2 pasta dishes to celebrate a birthday.
We enjoyed everything. Especially, the great birthday dessert that he gave us to end our celebration.
The food was delicious, the service was exceptional.
We have been frequenting Divino for more than ten years. Through the years, we have hosted birthday, anniversary, and Christmas events here. The food and service are consistently excellent. Divino is one of our favorite restaurants in the Bay Area.
During our 8/11 visit, our party of three enjoyed the gnocchi with tomato sauce and mozzarella, pistachio crusted pork chop, and fettuccine with basil pesto and buffalo ricotta. Our waiter was personable and professional. We had a great time!
Our waiter was very attentive and make sure we had everything we needed. The bus boy was great to keep bring ice tea and had a good sense of humor as we talked with him.
Divinos is a great place for lunch or dinner and for larger groups. The portions are sized better than many other Italian restaurants that I have been to. The linguini with clams and mussels and pappardelle are excellent. The apple tart and tiramisu are also delicious. I appreciate the great service from the staff. Carlos the owner is very kind and accommodating. He goes out of his way to make sure his customers are truly satisfied with their food and service. I have held a large group event in the large room and was very pleased with the quality of food, service and experience. I can’t say enough good things about my dining experiences at Divinos.
The good news: Food was delicious! Sea bass and filet of sole were outstanding. Service and ambiance were mostly excellent.
The bad news: Martini was too diluted - weak...and meager...small glass two-thirds full, including some ice. I asked for an olive and got a twist...should have sent it back but didn't. Wine list by the bottle and half bottle exorbitantly expensive.
Whenever we go to Divino’s we feel so special. We are warmly greeted by name with hugs and kisses. Thank you to Carlos and his team of Chef Vincenzo, servers Fabio, Armando, and Guiseppe, as well as hostess Jenella. Of course, you will not find more incredibly authentic Italian cuisine in the Peninsula, too!
Our waiter was very attentive-great service and food.
A neighborhood gem. The food and wine were excellent and the service was magnificent. We will be going back and recommending it to all our friends.
Have been there with out of town folks 10-15 times. Service and food were outstanding just as it was previously. It got noisier after our 6:00 pm arrival but not to a point where it was intolerable. The meal was well paced...not too slow or too fast and that helps the overall experience.
Good food, good location with parking, service was very good. Nice servers and owner was great.
Wonderful experience and food!
The restaurant was extremely busy and service was somewhat slow because the kitchen was overloaded. Our waiter forgot a couple of things and there was a mixup when one of the dinners was server. However we should have caught the mixup, but didn’t. When everyone was served the food was superb. The pork chop was to die for. The restaurant compensated us and that was excellent customer service. We will definitely return.
Delightful find while visiting Belmont. Small but not packed, relatively quiet, wonderful service, and lovely food. I particularly recommend the orange fennel salad ( which may be seasonal). My sister loved the quinoa entree.. very different than typical quinoa dish
Anna made us good cocktails and recommended the Pork Chop & Branzino for dinner. Both were terrific. Owner was very friendly & funny. Watched the Warriors game as we dined at the bar.
We love Divino. Authentic Italian. Great staff. We love being able to speak Italian with our waiter who shares personal stories of his kids and makes us always feel like good friends when we bring our grand children to dine. Great selections.
My family is from Naples and I’ve been preparing our family recipes all my life. It takes a certain skill and know how to turn a few simple ingredients into a delightful meal you want to linger over. Divino is the rare exception in the Bay Area that achieves the skills necessary to be called a Southern Italian Restaurant. Bravo Chef, multi gracia, errano deliciiso.
Authentic Italian pasta!! We love this place. The staff is so friendly and welcoming.
Food is always fabulous as is service. Carlos, the owner is always there to make sure everything is going well.
The spinach salad was excellent and especially fantastic was the ravioli but they struck our on the veal. The veal was tough (overcooked) and tasteless.
Fresh and delicious!
Birthday dinner with the family.
