Thank you Anne!
Always a great choice for dinner. Really love this place, the food, service and drinks are excellent. Was really nice that the dining room was only open for those who had reservation to limit the proximity of the guest. Great way to help flatten curve. Thanks Dry Creek for another memorable evening out.
The waiter was great again !!
Very nice, especially like outdoor fire pits
Awesome food, service was a little slow but not terribly inconvenient. Would recommend for a date night!
Food and service were great!
The Memphis pulled pork sandwich was exceptional !!!
We had a nice dinner. The food and service was great. The only complaint would be that it was too noisy and it was hard to hear the conversation.
I had my Son’s birthday dinner Thursday March 5th, I have been to DryCreek ever since you’ve opened.
There were six of us, I’ve had many wonderful Meals at Dry Creek, my dinner came 10:00 after the group were served. I ordered the Prime Rip Dip,I’ve ordered that many times. When finally received my order I was very disappointed, have you changed that Prime Dip ? Before it was sliced meat, this time it looked like chipped beef. The meat was very hot and the dip was also. If I didn’t know better it tasted like it was microwaved It was way below the standard that I expect from the Dry Creek Grill, I should of sent it back.
Next time in I’ll be sure to order something else,
The scores are a mix of both my and my wife's meal. The drinks were great, the appetizers were great, the service was great.
My entrée of the Prime rib French dip was only served medium or well (I requested rare but was told that is only came med or well so I gambled that it wouldn't be shoe leather). It was definitely well done, but the amount and quality of pieces were bad. It is served on a ciabatta bun, and the pieces were swallowed up by the bread. Also the pieces were what I would consider the throw away cuts and pieces if I was serving it to guests; lots of fat, uneatable gristle, burnt crust. After the first bite, I opened the sandwich to see if I could salvage any good prime rib but ended up leaving it all on the plate.
My wife had the BBQ mixed grill, the ribs and brisket were tasty, the sauce on the chicken a little sweet. Especially since the baked beans served with it are sweet, there was a need of something spicy or hot on the plate.
Love the cozy booths in the front. Waiter was good and food was delicious. Never felt rushed.
We dine here frequently, am always impressed with service (especially water!) plenty of help and gracious. And good food!
I selected Dry Creek Grill for our wedding anniversary because of the excellent reviews I saw on OT. However my expectations were exceeded because of the awesome service from our waiter and the other staff.Top rate service can make a good meal become great and it was on display with our dinner that night. I also appreciated the fact that I mentioned it was our anniversary when I made the reservation on OT and they surprised us with a dessert. Rarely does it seem that restaurants read the details in the OT reservation and we were delighted to see they cared. First time at Dry Creek Grill and certainly won’t be the last.
Bartenders were very slow getting to us even though they weren’t that busy at the time served people next to us that came after us. However our waiter was fantastic!
Very loud. Had more of a Club feel than a relaxing environment to enjoy a meal.
Appetizer was great but it went down hill from there. Ordered one medium and another medium rare but both came out medium well. Sent one back for medium but this time came out rare. Sent it back a third time but now I was so hungry I didn’t care when it came back medium well. Although they removed it off my bill, I would’t come back anytime soon. With it being really slow and we arrived prime time at 1. I thought they would be on the ball. It’s ok. Maybe next time.
It was a busy Friday night, had to wait 10 minutes before server greeted us to take order. Told us the bar was backed up, and disappointed that our dinners arrived before our drinks did. We were grateful they comped us our drinks because of that, but still don’t plan to return. For a Friday night, they should have had more servers and more bartenders.
The ambiance of the restaurant was very loud and we all found it difficult to hear each other- The food was very salty and over seasoned and wasn't a great value for the price. The server was very nice and tried her best but it seemed as though maybe they were a server short and the drinks took a long time to come to the table. We won't return to this restaurant.
I’ve called her multiple times but this last time I wasn’t 100% content it was OK as far as quality the ambience and of course the beauty of the restaurant inside is always so nice. The waitress wasn’t overly friendly and it’s just wasn’t what I expected or what it used to be I won’t be going here again.
Excellent food, great ambiance & the service was good.
Birthday Dinner with family.
Nice dinner but service was not top but adequate. Also generally a Restraunt provides free corkage for larger groups but Dry Creek is very unforgiving. Also wanted to split some meals ($60+ entree) but server said they will bring a knife. Feel like they could do more to cater to the customers. But that being said, enjoyed the food we ordered and the company.
The experience was wonderful. Will definitely go back soon
Very nice ambiance and food. Menu has something for everyone. Cocktail was good. Wine list was somewhat limited but not a big deal. Service was attentive yet not intrusive nor rushed.
Terrible! This is a favorite spot of ours and I have never had such bad service, food and reoccurring issues. This has always been a great SJ spot. I’m beyond disappointed!
Awesome food and service
One of our favorite go to places. We take friends there, family, have business meetings there and have dates there. Very reliable. Sometimes the mixed drinks are awesome, sometimes they seem pretty light on the alcohol content (sad). Not a lush but come on!!! Their bbq food is delish. Overall really love this place.
We will return. My one complaint was that we had to wait close to 10 minutes before being seated for our 7 p.m. reservation, despite the fact that we were on time. The front desk said they were having computer problems.
Great location with plenty of parking. Two fire pits and chairs outside make waiting for your table in the cold very acceptable. Was seated before my reservation time which was a plus. My waiter was excellent. He was prompt and informative, knew the menu front to back. He was honest about what dishes he didn't care for. I wish I could remember his name, but he was a tall older(early 40s) gentlemen with glasses. He earned his tip. Food was good, and hot. My steak was cooked how I wanted it. The wine list was extensive and the old fashion I had was one of the best I've had. Overall it was excellent imo. It was somewhat loud but not too much to where you couldnt talk intimately with my wife. Next time I'm in San Jose I'll be going again for sure.
Dry Creek Grill is a great dining experience. We took our son there for his
birthday. Wonderful service and great food. Our son could not stop talking about
the food and service. I have been there about four times and never been disappointed.
Very enjoyable ! Our service waiter was exceptionally excellent! We had crab cakes that were very good and both had salads( one was the blue cheese and the other the beet salad) which could both have had more dressing and been tastier. We shared a Filet Mignon dinner which was outstanding! The dessert( a raspberry chocolate cheescake) was to die for! Overall a wonderful evening and experience.
The wing recipe has changed. They are inedible.
The prime rib sandwich was fatty and the bread fell apart.
I have eaten there at last a dozen times.
It was my boyfriend’s birthday and I noted it in the reservation, but the server didn’t get the message ? Usually there is some kind of birthday dessert offered, but not tonight for some reason. Would have liked that.
The service was problematically slow. We had four children with us and were therefore incentivized to order quickly. The wait staff took ~10 minutes to take our order and nearly 35 minutes later our food was finally delivered. When it finally arrived, it was not as the waitress had described. She blithely acknowledged that it was different. She made no apology nor offered to remedy the difference.
Additionally, we were seated quite close to the bathroom. Each time someone went in or out, the smell from each bathroom wafted out. It was quite gross.
What a nice surprise to find this nice restaurant located in a strip mall. We all had a good time and will come back because they have a good selection of everything to choose from.
Nice moderately upscale dinner — very pleasant ambience More Campbell than Los Gatos if you know what I mean. A favorite of ours.
Plan on drinks and cornbread.
Very good food. Our party of 5 had a variety of items from the menu and everyone was very happy. I will definatley go back. Corn bread appetizer was excellent. Creamed Spinich was fantastic. One of the better hamburgers I have had in a while.
I generally liked our dinner at Dry Creek - I had the Dry Creek Burger - it was fine but not too juicy; my wife had the Mushroom Burger - it was very tasty; Our friends had the Filet and Salmon which according to the were quite good!
Too noisy when seated for dinner near the bar. Next time will insist on the dining room
Service was amazing, and the food was great! Perfect place for a date night! We will definitely be going back soon
OMG, received a gift card for Dry Creek for Xmas and May I say, it was worth driving here(we live in Watsonville)! Love love love the ambiance as well as the servers. Everyone from the hostess, waitress, and especially the gentleman who was always making sure we had plenty of water. The food was fabulous, our son had the lobster ravioli with their famous yummy cornbread. My husband and I shared the ribs, beans, cole slaw and cornbread. They even divided the meal onto two plates!!! We most definitely will be going back, it’s well worth the hour or so drive!!!
