Great ambiance, good service, but the food was just so so this time. I ordered the fettuccine steak and my pasta was too salty for me
I have been to dry Creek grill Many times and have always had a good experience. I have recommended it to my friends and family. The food is always very good as well as the service. The ambience is also very nice. No doubt I will be there again in the near future.
Went for a nice dinner with friends, had great food and a great time! Two of us ordered the scallops with butternut squash risotto; I was a bit skeptical but it was fantastic! We also had the lamb shank and the short rib, both were just as wonderful. Highly recommend this restaurant!
A little disappointing. Haven't been here for quite sometime because of covid.
Very accommodating when we asked for a different table.
One cocktail was not up to standards. Food overall was good, not great. Too much vinegar in salad and coleslaw. We would return again.
New chef…loved the salmon entrée and the brisket elevated BBQ…a neighborhood favorite❣️
The food and service were excellent. I had the butternut squash ravioli and my tablemate had the bacon-wrapped meatloaf. We left very satisfied indeed.
Great short ribs and I was also happy to see scallops back on the menu as a special. Excellent Chardonnay selection.
Great food, appetizers and drinks. Great service, very friendly here.
always a good meal...good service....a tad pricey, but worth it...go forth and enjoy
My friends 50th birthday.
Good service food and atmosphere as always
Even at the end of November have a lovely meal outdoors on their patio next to the fire pit. Our server David was prompt and helpful throughout. Great place to dine.
Took almost 15 minutes for a server to come to our table
Very good selections for Thanksgiving dinner, had the lamb shank, very well done. Butternut bisque and pumpkin pie was excellent.Very attentive and courteous hostess.Beautiful romantic ambiance with nice deco.Nice bar area. Overall a very pleasant restaurant and will visit again in the future.
Two of us got the turkey dinner and one got the steak. The turkey was great. The steak was fine but the accompanying broccolini was cold and under cooked. The French onion soup was unremarkable. The beet salad was outstanding. The apple crisp dessert was good. The chocolate torte dessert was great. However one of ordered the pumpkin cheesecake but was served the chocolate tort instead with no comment or apology. Fortunately the person who ordered the cheesecake was not upset at all and enjoyed the tort. Service was attentive and excellent. The coffee was really, really good. We did feel that $100 per person with no wine or alcohol was rather much. But it was a special occasion and we did enjoy ourselves.
I went there for Thanksgiving dinner. Pretty pricey and very limited menu. I had a worm in my dish and although they comped my plate, only my meal. I feel like dinning there for Thanksgiving, they should have done a bit more as I was very apprehensive to eat my new food. Two others ordered the Turkey meal and it was so dry, that they both were barely eaten. Our server never asked how our meal was or recognized that the plates were still full.
Very nice place. The food was quite good overall. The portions were generous. Since it was Thanksgiving the prices were probably higher than on a non-holiday. The servers were very attentive. The cocktails were VERY tasty.
Nice place for Willow Glen - steaks are ‘decent’ (nothing super special) but the place was super sooo noisy!!! Service was good.
Our waiter brought out the wrong order he said he misunderstood, next he forgot one order entirely, he said he thought we were just inquiring about it. We all ate and the one person had to rush to eat as we had an event to get to. We also asked to split the tab accordingly, he forgot that too. When he re did the tab it was wrong at that point we just paid it and left. Not a good first impression for two first timers in our group.
We sat at 8pm no one stopped for drink/food order until 835. Techno music blaring and food was off. Dry BBQ chicken and over priced Filet for quality.
Normally reliable hit a wall in service, quality, and atmosphere this time
Dry Creek used to be a favorite. Worst meal possible last night-treating a friend for his birthday. Ribeye steak was not ribeye-grizzle, tough, couldn’t finish. Gelato dessert was two tiny scoops of melted gelato with a few berries on top. Four people, no alcohol, bad food. $240. I have eaten there many times in the past, but never again.
To be fair, we went on Friday at 6:30 when the bar was very busy so delay in getting food is understandable, to a point. On the good side: We had a reservation and were seated immediately. The food was excellent. On the not good side: management needs to clarify roles of the employees, such as who resets the table. We had to ask 3 times for silverware and napkins, which should have been on the table already. When the appetizer was brought from the kitchen, they should have noticed we had no napkins or utensils; we asked for them and still didn't get them. No one seemed to think it was their job to get them for us. We had looked at the menu online and ordered immediately when the server appeared. It took 55 minutes to get our entrees. Like I said, it was 6:30 on a Friday -- but no one came to give us an update on the status of our order. We almost left. We are glad we stayed because the salmon was excellent, and the filet mignon beef stroganoff was excellent too..
Great food as usual. I have been to Dry Creek at least 15 times. Based on that it appears they are short staffed after last nights experience. The waiter was very nice, but he seemed in hurry to get our order to the point where we felt rushed. Was not enjoyable
Our very experienced server Brandon was amazing we love him we love the restaurant 💯🥰
Dry Creek Grill ran out of steak, I was really disappointed because it was my wife’s birthday.
Umm. This is a sports bar with great food. If that's your type of thing by all means give it a go. We liked the food. Just did not like the place. We will just Doordash going forward. Ambience sucked, people were loud, there is a huge bar right in the middle of the dining floor. The decor is weird. Chairs are upholstered in leaopard prints. There are 1000 TVs. Oh and the waiter's hand shook everytime he put something down on the table - although he did not spill anything he gave us a dozen heart attacks.
Umm.. Yeah not for us.
Food is good though - so yeah we will doordash! or uber eats --whatever.
Great service, excellent food peaceful atmosphere
Dry Creek was a pleasant surprise. I had not visited before. The ambiance is great. Service & food fantastic. We opted for pan roasted chicken and the short ribs. Every bite was delicious!
Good food. The place is nice but all of the chairs need to go. The leather is cracked on all of them. I did have a minor issue with the service of the food. As we were just getting into our appetisers they brought us dinner. Other then that everything was good.
It was great as always. However, we were seated in a room where there were a lot of empty tables. A group of five or six people were seated right next to us and verbalized loudly. We wondered why we couldn’t have been spread out more….but didn’t say anything.
Enjoyed the ambience and our server was excellent!! Ordered rib eye which was flavorful but disappointingly chewy and my husband’s rack of lamb was good but potatoes were undercooked. Guest in next booth, Tony, used his outdoor voice and was very loud, thats why we know his name and much more about him, his opinions and vacation plans.
I love their menu and sound track although it could be turned down a bit.
Sadly, we have been here before a few years back but it’s gone downhill big time! The food was very mediocre; the service was terrible. We hadn’t even finished our appetizers and they brought the main course and dumped it on our table. When we complained the manager responded with some stupid comments that made no sense. He did comp us the appetizers which helped but still did not make up for the overall disappointing experience.
When we ordered the second bottle of wine they brought us a later year but did not inform us of that. It felt fishy since that surely would have been a different price.
And at 9.30pm on a Saturday night they had run out of the Creme Brûlée- really !!!!
Overall a very negative experience - sad - we used to like it here!
Excellent greeting! Excellent service! Excellent food!
The food was horrible. My husband isn't a picky eater and always very tolerant. He ordered the BBQ combo. After the meal, he said the dinner was disgusting. I tried some of the pork. It tasted awful. For that price point, the food quality is totally unacceptable. Will never go back.
Food and drink very enjoyable. We found our meals to be very tasty. Making this overall an okay experience, stems mostly from service. We told our waiter that we would be splitting our salad. Salad was delivered to the table on a single plate with not even the offer to provide a plate so we could split ourselves. I honestly can say I have never been to a higher-end restaurant who didn’t split in the kitchen or at a minimum provide an extra plate. Our before dinner cocktails arrived a good 5 minutes after our meal, making ordering a glass of red wine to have with our beef dishes not feasible.
Lastly, after several attempts at getting someone’s attention and tiring of waiting for our server to walk by, we got up and grabbed some water ourselves to refill our empty water glasses.
Not in a huge hurry to return.
Great food, great service, great ambience! What more could you ask for👍
We’ve been to Dry Creek Grill many times and the food and service have been outstanding. Last night was disappointing to say the least. The server hardly checked on us the entire time. He came to the table once to refill our water glasses The food was not up to par. It was under seasoned and served warm not hot. The French Onion soup, which is usually outstanding, was not very good. The cheese on the soup was barely melted. I don’t know whether they have new kitchen staff, but if they do, the management needs to spend some time training the kitchen staff.
When dinner was over, we decided not to order dessert as the Creme Brûlée was $14.00 and we couldn’t be sure it would be good, so we went somewhere else for dessert. I don’t mind spending money on a great dining experience, however this was wasted money.
