A great first time experience & will visit again if we are in Chicago. The duck entree was done right but it was a bit pricey......
As usual we enjoyed the excellent food and the service
But the music was too loud to allow for conversation
Loved the food service and neighborhood atmosphere!
Always great food and great service. The beet salad was outstanding; the duck was as good as any duck I have ever eaten
Great atmosphere. Deliciously created small plates.
The Pinot noir by the glass was fantastic and my favorite dish was the lamb ribs. Brussels sprouts was good. The flavor of the chicken dish was not enjoyable. Overall, one of the dish was overly salty so couldn’t enjoy it. Though I tend to skip dessert, pumpkin carrot cheesecake was worth it.
Love this place. Food was delicious and filling. Just need staff to be more informed on breakfast items. Our waiter said that he usually works the dinner time wasn't all that sure of the breakfast items.
Wonderful food, drinks and atmosphere!
Absolutely recommend ordering the rotisserie duck and the brussel sprouts. The cheese plate was ok but the drinks were amazing.
Duck Inn is one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago, or anywhere. The consistent quality of the food, drinks, service and overall experience is superb.
A charming neighborhood bar with a most sophisticated restaurant. The service is impeccable and friendly. And oh..the...food!!
Went with a group of friends for a birthday outing. I’m partial to this place because I live nearby and know the owner. The food is amazing and the ambiance so comfortable. It’s a bit pricey, but so worth it.
Excellent service followed by best roast duck ever.
We had many appetizers and then sat down to a lighter dinner because of the many apps. It was all delightful. The happy hour was very generous and the drinks divine.
Excellent small dishes
Superb roast duck
Friendly ambiance- owner present
and accessible
Excellent music, ambiance and quality of food.
Food and service were top notch. We hope to return soon and try the rotisserie duck and brunch!
This place was amazing. The brunch was first rate. I loved it!!!
Wow, so glad we came here while visiting our College student daughter. My foodie group in Houston recommended it - and yes the food is amazing, service excellent, and ambience authentic, comfortable and fun. We started with the burrata sale and wings. Both perfect in very different ways. We had preordered the rotisserie duck (Amazing), and had their Brussels sprouts as an extra side (also Amazing). Had their Roth Cab with dinner, great pairing.
We ordered 2 ducks ahead of the reservation and they did not disappoint! So glad we upgraded one of them with the truffles! So amazing! Love the curds! Get them. They just cook everything amazing.
We have also been there for brunch. 2 words: Smoked Salmon.
have never been a fan of duck, but rotisserie duck was excellent
As always, the food was fabulous. Not only the duck, kale and potatoes, but the brussel sprouts were great.
Our waitress disappeared during our meal . She did not serve our dinner, refill our drinks, offer us dessert. The meal took over an hour to be served by someone else. I had to beg to get a check from her... and have another staff person give her the check with my charge card. She was awful and ruin a meal that I spent over $100.
Delicious food! The chef's tasting menu with the wine pairings is worth the price. It was a nice surprise when it turned into a 7 course meal instead of a 5 course meal. Will recommend to others and will go back again!
For $16.00, I ordered the Heirloom Ravioli. It was a total of four small to medium sized ravioli. I’m all for appreciating small plates but I won’t lie, for the quality and quantity and price— it just wasn’t a great first impression.
Spectacular service and creative sides and appetizers.
Overall it was very very crowded, and we had to wait about 20mins for our table even though we had a reservation. However, food was outstanding
Very pleased. Fun mid-century modern decor, unique and thoughtful food. Really worth the trip.
Neighborhood restaurant with an unexpected upscale menu. We did not have the duck, but it looked spectacular. The beef short ribs and ravioli were very good. Service was friendly and attentive.
Exceptional food prep, all dishes were ultra beautiful and delicious, prepared with obvious skill. Mixology Amazing. Service Outstanding. Cool retro interior design.
Our server was fantastic and so was the food. We’ll be back.
Always an amazing experience here. Perfect spot for casual brunch or incredible date night. Menu is always being tweaked, but our longtime favorites still remain. Always incredible friendly service.
Excellent food. Friendly service. Great value. Definitely recommend for a fabulous dinner.
as always, the Duck Inn is pretty close to flawless. Perfect service, great booze and delicious food.
Duck Inn was very good, not amazing. The food was excellent, but the portions were fairly small. Our waiter was fine, but the real gem was a server in another area named Jean or Jessie. She helped us out repeatedly when our server was not around. Next time I will ask specifically for her, and suggest others do likewise.
Consistently one of Chicago's finest! Really terrific food in a great neighborhood setting.
Pleased with most things. I thought the prices for a glass of wine was excessive. Overall it was good and I would return.
Service missed the mark. Was good until we were rushed out of the restaurant immediately after paying the bill. The server politely told us they had a busy night and needed the table without giving us an opportunity to leave without prompting. It was unexpected and something I hadn't experienced before.
Excellent interesting food
Had best time. Eleanor our waitress was outstanding Food was great
