Very disappointed in this restaurant to say the least. I mentioned that it was an Anniversary, however not one mention. Our table was in a less desired area. THe table itself was extremely long leaving my finance quite the distance for a dinner. Our appetizer came out before the bread, at this point I had to ask them to slow the service down as we would like to enjoy our dinner. There was NOTHING romantic about this restaurant.. we did not have a view at all and the food was very low on my spectrum for Italian food. Very disappointed.. I will not ever return.

The food was delicious! We were seated near a heat lamp on a rooftop deck; it would have been more enjoyable on a warmer day. The restaurant did not have a bathroom, and we had to go down to another floor to access one. When we did so, two stalls were filthy and lacked toilet paper. It occurred to us that the people making the restaurant food must use these same questionable bathrooms, and that was a bit disconcerting.

Reserved standard dinner for Thanksgiving but once I got there I could only order from the Thanksgiving menu which had limited options and was way overpriced. This made it especially hard when ordering for the kids. View and ambience were excellent, service and food were good.

Duomo 51 was nice, it was just missing something. Perhaps it was the vey shabby lobby you have to walk through to get to the restaurant or it could have been that the restaurant itself felt small. The food was good though and the service was nice.

The food was excellent. However, there were workmen on ladders plastering the ceiling nearby and the restaurant was cold. We had to request heat.

Great food and service. Loved the ambiance. Recommend for those reasons. However was a lot more expensive than anticipated. Gratuity was also included and they didn't mention so some people ended up paying double tip unknowingly

I recently came back home from a trip from Italy and was craving authentic Italian food, Duomo51 is just that. The food, staff, atmosphere, 10/10. My server, I believe her name was Adela, absolutely amazing. Great personality and was very quick with recommendations from the menu. She recommended the “Lost in Milano” cocktail.. delicious. I got the tiramisu for dessert but before getting a picture I devoured it, that’s how good it was lol. This is my first time visiting and I will definitely be coming back

I enjoyed the prefix menu, caprese and salmon, definitely the 100% recommended salmon, enough for one person. The panna cotta was really good in the end. Good service, good atmosphere.

It was a date night. The view of St. Patrick's Cathedral was breath taking. We had ordered Octopus as App, it was very chewy. For main course my gf ordered Branzino and I ordered Dover Sole. My Dover Sole was amazing whereas her Branzino was very blend. It had absolutely no taste. We had to order some lemon sauce to bring out the flavor. The service was immaculate. The Chocolate Lava Cake for dessert was delicious. Might go again just to try different main course.

What a terrific find! Hidden away in a great location, this enclosed terrace is a treasure and has spectacular views! Private and quiet it was the perfect place to meet friends for lunch. The food was great and the menu looked great but we couldn’t help but order the 40.00 prix fixe lunch. Meatball app, grilled salmon was great. My friends were happy with theirs as well and all of us couldn’t stop being surprised as to how nice it was. Super service, expert host, attractive room and beautiful terrace views surrounding it. Easy to get to and again a great location. An easy walk through the lobby then elevator up to 7th floor, what a surprise. Def try it! Reminded me of restaurants in Japan that are in hotels but here the food was delicious Mediterranean styled Italian dishes. Wonderful experience.

My husband and I went for an early dinner before a show at Radio City. First of all, perfect location for that. We sat on the enclosed patio and had a great view of Radio City and St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly. My husband had Linguine with clam sauce and I had the cacio de Pepe. They came by with cheese and pepper if we wanted. He really enjoyed his and I loved mine. It was delicious! I don’t know if I could ever order anything else when I go back. I also had a “Radio City” to drink. It was very good. For dessert we split a crème brûlée. Everything was perfect and we’ll definitely be going back.

I'm deeply disappointed with our recent experience. Upon arrival, our table wasn't ready, even though the host believed it was. In their rush to set it up, they used mismatched glasses and utensils, neglecting certain items like wine glasses and the second fork. The server consistently spilled water while pouring, and we were never inquired about our meal, particularly the overcooked truffle pasta. Truffle shavings even landed on the table and my lap. The staff seemed to be in constant chaos, reminiscent of headless chickens.

CHECK YOUR BILL. Well somebody got a good tip. They auto-add gratuity and tuck the itemized part at the bottom and in the back of the papers they give you to sign for your bill. I didn't think to check it so I added another 20 percent on top of the gross number they gave me, giving someone a $26 dollar tip for two average omelettes. Other than this, I'd eat there again, but once trust is gone, why bother trying again when there are so many other restaurant options? The advance notice of this was not conspicuously displayed before ordering, which as I understand it is the legal requisite in New York for restaurants that auto-add a service charge. I won't visit again and cannot suggest it to a friend. I find the practice of doing this bordering on duplicitous and greedy, when there is not any need for it. In today's post-covid world, restaurant patrons are eager to keep tipping for good service, yet hate to get duped with stunts like this.

It wasn't what I expected. We wete celebrating my husband's birthday. The service was good however the meal was not. He ordered a medium-rare steak and received a steak that was blue(rare). Did not sent back as we were pressed for time for a show. We will not return.

Truthfully I’m surprised I chose this restaurant in a Doubletree hotel for a pre theater dinner but the surprise was on me because it was a great experience. I pondered my choice while waiting in the less than inviting Doubletree lobby but felt much better when I entered the lovely restaurant. It’s a charming well decorated space with a lovely balcony with views of Rock Center and St.Pats. The night we were there the place was not all crowded which might normally be a warning sign, but for a New Yorker it was a godsend. My wife and I relaxed and conversed without having to scream. So chill! I We loved it. The service was fine and the food was delish. I’d eat here again.

Our food was very good. The lower rating is for the service and ambiance. Right at the start, I personally was put off by the attempt to upsell me on a special pasta truffle menu as a response to a question regarding a description of the dish I intended to order. The staff hung out at the hostess station which was right next to us, talking and laughing loudly. We would have mentioned it but our server was not attentive - did check on us at all after our dinner was delivered. We waited 15-20 minutes after our main dinner plates were removed for our server to return and check on us. He did not offer drink refills or dessert. Again, to repeat, the food was very good, so if you are someone who is okay with the service side then just go for the food!

My family and I were visiting New York for a girls trip, my mom wanted to treat us to a fancy dinner and after much searching I happened upon Duomo51. Let me say the food and cocktails were amazing so for that reason alone I would definitely recommend to anyone. Service started out great until our waiter had a friend show up to dine in his section, at which time we were suddenly left feeling a bit neglected and disappointed. Another thing that left us with a bad taste in our mouth was the photographer that showed up insisting to take pictures of our group just as our cocktails were showing up, it was quite disruptive, one group picture would have been ok but it went beyond that to the point of being intrusive and when we decline to purchase any pictures that she brought back in frames as were trying to enjoy our dessert she made us feel as if we had wasted her time when it was her that had wasted our time by interrupting our special dinner. Obviously we could told her from the beginning that we were uninterested but we assumed she would just be taking one or two group pictures and moving on. The food was amazing but I would recommend to management that they do away with the photographer, it felt a little like being on a cruise ship.
