Shocking attitude of the waitress. One in particular with the piercing in her face. How can you employ someone that has such an attitude. Disgusted by it. She’s dropped my food on the floor and still put in on my table. Just disgusting. So rude with a bad attitude.

So disappointed with our experience. Our meal for 2 was over £260 and for that I expected a lot lot more! Absolutely ruined our night with the attitude of this lady. Such a bad experience at E&O, thoroughly disappointing...... I’d love to hear the managers thoughts......

The restaurant did not organise the requested birthday cake on time.However the food was brought promptly after ordering.
Overall the experience was decent

Felt like a fast food experience. For our 18:30 reservation they had us out of our seats by 19:31. Drink order was botched. Lights were turned off for a while then turned back on. Food was very good, but the entire experience felt rushed, at every turn. Would never return in person, but would definitely order the sushi for takeaway, which was excellent.

What has happened to E & O? Has it changed hands? We have been coming here for family celebrations for over 10 years but there was nothing celebratory about our visit on Thursday night. They were very keen to sell us a plate of Edamame Beans as soon as we arrived but really slow in taking our order for pre-dinner drinks. The remaining service was very poor. Also what has happened to the menu, not so much choice and some firm favourites taken off such as the wonderful belly pork dish and the ginger & ... gyoza. Really disappointed.

Haven't been here for a good year or so but this place never disappoints...literally everything we ordered was a winner and there were 4 harsh judges!

Everything splendid. Espresso Martini’s were too sweet and sugary but that’s the only tiny criticism.

Buzzy Notting Hill stalwart with great bar scene and quieter separate restaurant. Delicious food, friendly but attentive staff.

Been coming here since it opened and rarely disappoints.

E&O is one of my "go to" restaurants for guest visiting London as well as for special occassions. It is trendy, buzzy, full of stylish people, and has a great bar. What's not to like? Oh, and the food is really good Asian fusion that is meant for sharing. Lots of small plates which makes dinner a cooperative affair. It's not cheap, of course, but these kind of places never are. And it has a decent wine list but the focus is clearly the cocktails.

Food good service slow and inattentive, due to staffing. Although our server was very efficient she was overseeing several tables just as well it was a quiet Sunday in January.

It didn’t start very well as the staff had us sit for 15 minutes in the bar as they were busy with customers leaving and barely acknowledged us during the process. Very unfriendly hosts but lovely barmaid. Fortunately the table waitress was also great and friendly. The food is tasty, although a bit pricy for dim sum, and the selection should possibly omit the Japanese fare as it is not credible to efficiently and authentically serve sushi, dim sum and fusion (though a lot of places would want you to believe it is). Nevertheless, a great place for Sunday lunch which can expand to a little walk around Notting Hill.

We shared three starters: the spicy tuna roll was a bit quirky (not the standard rice around it) but excellent, and the fried squid and vegetable tempura were both very good. For the main, DW thought the prawn curry a little under spiced but then she's Thai so that applies to nearly everything. I had the spicy tofu and enjoyed it. Overall thought I thought the food was pretty good and would perhaps suit a small group sharing even better. Service was very good considering the place was packed. It was certainly lively, but the noise wasn't too bad. All things considered reasonable value for money too. I would recommend giving it a go.

Went for NYE meal ' good vibe in restaurant, buzzy atmosphere. Waiting staff were attentive and cheerful- had a great evening!

We had the nicest waiter Ernesto who makes us feel extra special and I highly recommend the spare ribs, blackened cod and the passion fruit pisco sour

As always, the food is superb, as are the cocktails, the night feels special from the moment you walk in. A very smooth and chic dining experience.

Music was far too loud in the restaurant, great to have live dj in the bar but just spoilt the whole ambience of the restaurant . Just the wrong type of music to sit and enjoy your meal.
