    Our reservation was 5:30 and the place was empty? We were seated immediately and there was no hustle & bustle and we could sit and converse- in peace!! Our server, Liam, was a gem!!! Very polite and personable… The meal was superb; I had the Lamb Sirloin and it was prepared to perfection.

    It was my wife's birthday, I had told them this, and absolutely nothing. We got a waiter in training. Showed up twice for food and drink. Loyal to the fifth group, but damn, just go to Midtown. This was a totally forgettable and non-special meal. What a disappointment.

    A beautiful urban city restaurant with great cuisine and service that is easy access from multiple tangent points in Atlanta. Friends like to meet here because it is easy for all to arrive to.

    I hosted out of town guest, they enjoyed it very much. Food is always good @ Ecco. Our server was very sweet and attentive.

    We self parked on the adjacent parking deck because the valet is always a bit of a cluster. When we got to the front door, he was on his phone and didn't say a single word to us, nor did he ever look up to open the either door. Same on the way out. Server was forgetful and his missteps could have been entirely avoided. He forgot to order one of our appetizers, he didn't ask if we wanted more cocktails and then forgot to bring one of our second drinks we ordered. We ordered dessert and he never came back to the table to check if it was good or not (more on that below). He was very apologetic but his service soured our dining experience. Food was very good. We started with the Prosciutto Flatbread. It was super tasty and a great dish to share with everyone. We also ordered the Grilled Octopus, but it never came as the server forgot to order it. By time he came back to the table, our main course was served. I had the Wood Grilled Steak Frites (steak was cooked a perfect medium rare, fries were short, but cooked well), also we had the Green Circle Half Chicken. Juicy and delicious. Dessert should be skipped entirely. We ordered: Mille Feuille (praline pastry cream, milk chocolate mousse, sesame tuile, hazelnuts) - The pastry was hard and impossible to cut with a fork. This had clearly been made well ahead of time and not put together per order. A mille feuille is supposed to be puff pastry that is light and this was not anywhere close. Also ordered was the Cinnamon Streusel Bun (honey syrup, pistachio gelato). It is supposed to be like an ice cream sandwich. There was literally a smear of ice cream in the Bun. No where close to an ice cream sandwich. The server never came back to check on the desserts. Based on this, I'm not sure I would go back again.

    We had a group of 12 with 3 reservations and the receptionist and the on duty manager are so helpful… we are grateful to both of them …. Both are women … our group was able to sit together !!! ECCO has always been one of my favorites…

    I got sick from the meal. I never have gotten sick from a resturant. The food all came out room temp. That was the first red flag. Typically the food at any establishment comes out hot. The goat cheese balls were room temp as well as pasta dish. Ended up with worst pain from meal. Completely subpar.

    My wife and I have been to Ecco many times and have usually had an excellent meal there. Last night we brought a friend there for his birthday and, unfortunately, this visit was not quite up to par. The restaurant was not overly crowded, yet it took nearly an hour for our main dishes to arrive. When they did arrive, all three (two ribeye steaks and a lamb tenderloin) were not very hot. When we told the waiter, he took them back and must have put them under the broiler for a couple of minutes. They were warmer, but still not hot. We will likely return again sometime, but if the food/service were to the level of last night's visit, it would be our last time.

    We were sat at 7:52 for an 8:00 PM reservation. We were asked if we wanted water. We said no hoping to order our wine. Instead, we were brought waters. We finally ordered shareables and a bottle of wine. Took 25 mins to get our bottle. The server spilled it twice. Then asked what we wanted to get started on. I reminded him we ordered shareables already and he had forgotten to enter them. My steak was full of gristle so I couldn’t eat it. It was removed from my check. The focaccia and goat cheese shareables were good.

    Atmosphere was great! Steak had great sear and cook temp was textbook medium rare (as ordered). Garlic butter that was on top over powered the flavor of the steak in a negative way. And fries seemed like the bottom of the batch and were tending towards stale. Outside of those two issues, overall experience was good.

    Wonderful food, drinks and attentive service. We were seated in the bar area which felt like a neighborhood bar with lots of congeniality. Indulging in the fried goat cheese is a favorite no brainer but the toasted focaccia with the buttermilk ricotta was a delicious surprise which we will order again. We can recommend both the pappardelle with pork ragu (consistently delicious) and the blue crab casarecce (a new menu item?). Keep up the good work Chef Paul. We will be back. We finished off our amazing meal with a creamy decadent milk chocolate tart with pistachio gelato. Kudos to the pastry chef.

    Ecco use to be one of our favorite spots but the last few visits have been very average. I realize it’s hard to stay exciting and relevant over years but perhaps menu needs update. Goat cheese fritters still one of our favorites though.

    Our first time at Ecco. Ambiance was really nice and the music/noise level was great for conversation. Service was friendly and attentive. Food was really good with one small exception. One of the pieces of pork tenderloin was chewy and fatty. The rest of it was very nice. The restaurant is a bit pricey for regular visits.

    Maybe not my cup of tea but the food was as pretty meh. The waitress Mary on the other hand was perfection. Id just recommend not ordering the steaks as they were bitter little boys and all the gristle.

    Excellent overall experience! The ambiance was very great and the customer service was great (except that our server was a little overwhelmed from many customers he had to wait on). However, from the lady at the reception, to the waiters, and manager, we appreciated their great service. The food was very delicious too! Especially their couscous with Lamb chops. My boyfriend's grilled fish was burnt, which we were a little disappointed about, but the manager stepped in right away and they made him another dish. Overall experience was great and we will definitely go back.

    I had their Market Fish which was Red Fish the night i was there. It was very delicious. My dining partner had the pork tenderloin which she said was wonderful, albeit with a little bit of fat she had to cut around. The wilted greens we both had were great. A lovely place to dine.

    I usually go to Ecco in Midtown, or on the International concourse at the airport, but this new location was really fun and my clients were impressed, so good job! We loved the valet text rather than a ticket. Leading the charge in utilizing the latest tech tools.

    Wow what a wonderful dinner! We’ve driven by so many times but never been in-what a gem this place is! We got lots of appetizers to share, and we couldn’t decide on a favorite. Shared the pasta with ricotta, squash blossoms, preserved lemon, and zucchini-woah! It was so good. And top that off with homemade ice cream with a drizzle of olive oil-who knew! We will be back many times!!
