We had a fantastic server. He was kind, professional, and aided us greatly as we are not German speakers. The food and wine were excellent! We are big fans of your yummy bread and butter. Our dinner with you at Fang & Feld was a highlight of our time in Hamburg.

The food was just ok and the interior looks like the worst part of the 80s never died (polished mirrored surfaces, upholstered chairs, wood laminate, red plexiglass, etc). The soup came out over salted and lacking other flavors. The eggplant was too acidic and unbalanced. The Cod was fine, but didn’t blow me away. In general, the presentation of all of the food was very good and so was the service, but most of the dishes we tried tasted kind of mid level. We were disappointed.

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this pricy restaurant associated with the Westin Grand and the Elbphilharmonie Hamburg. The service was clearly inexperienced and while ordering almost intrusive, later the servers were virtually absent. As a party of four we arrived at 6:15 pm and we placed a very simple order before an Elbphilharmonie concert at 8:00 pm for one entree without starter per person. We were all served the wrong entree (one of two choices for fish). We did not complain, because we had already noticed that it took the kitchen some time to prepare the food. At 7 pm we ordered desert - which was only served at 7:35 and after an urgent request putting us under time pressure before the concert. The guests at the next table obviously had the same issue. As to the food: good food, but overpriced and not a good value for money. Same goes for a very average bottle of white which had a fantastic mark-up. Recommendation: despite the convenient location - look elsewhere for good food and value for money if you want to dine out before an Elbphilharmonie concert.

5 and 3 course menus far too expensive for the value and quality. Not recommendable in Terms of value for the money. The location alone is not enough.

enttäuschend - für den platz und den preis hätten wir besseres essen und besseren service erwartet - z.b. wunsch nach olivenöl wurde erst nach erneutem nachfragen mit flapsiger antwort und auch nur eine flasche aus dem supermarkt auf den tisch gestellt ohne worte___ fisch. war nicht frisch
