    Came to Figleaf Bar & Lounge for a work happy hour. The ambiance was nice and drinks were unique! We played a couple games of pool and ate some yummy appetizers. :)

    Not what we expected. As guests of Zena Hotel, it was super convenient to eat dinner here and turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The food was eclectic and tasty. We ordered appetizer and salad, three entrees,and two desserts - all excellent. Our waiter, Dinesh, was attentive and professional.

    I was very underwhelmed by this experience. The menu was very limited which I knew going into it, though the server was not knowledgable about the menu. When asked , if the sausage was links or patties she seemed confused. The food was very bland but the portions were a decent size. The bartender and the hostess were very accommodating and the lounge itself is aesthetically pleasing.

    It’s a really cute vibe! The brunch menu is very limited, I would definitely recommend more options. The food/service is quick! The food was decent. I don’t believe collecting a credit card for reservations is necessary. It’s not bottomless so don’t get your hopes up! I also asked the waitress if the champagne was Prosecco or not and she told me it was, but it clearly was not when it was brought to the table.

    The restaurant was not packed so for first date it’s the place to be if you want to be left alone. The food was very good and the service was excellent.

    The service and atmosphere were excellent. We found our meal to be a bit bland. No issues with quality of food... just a bit bland, in general. Dessert flan was excellent!

    The food was really good! Mo was really nice and attentive! The only con was we didn’t receive our drink before the meal, but the manager ended up righting the issue. I would definitely recommend and come back again.

    Loved being in this beautiful and creative atmosphere dedicated to women's rights. Light, lovely place with Ruth Bader Ginsberg portrait commanding the view. Food is a select menu. Very good. Recommend the bacon wrapped dates! Service was extraordinary, efficient and friendly. Can't wait to return

    Should have realized when the place was virtually empty at 730 on a Sat night. No host/ess, waited over 5 minutes to be seated by the one waitress... and even with only 3-4 other tables, service was slow. Knew they had a limited menu, but hoped they might have some specials. Mezzo platter and smashed potatoes were good, but their large plates were small and mediocre. Won't be returning. Only cool thing about the place was the women&resistance art/decor.

    Really interesting and tasty food. Terrific ambience. Our server, Ramo, was friendly and informative. We’ll probably be going back. BUT: I really do not like the 48 hours $15 pp cancellation with fee. Emergencies happen, plans change. I can see a restaurant maintaining a list of folk who cancel and requiring a credit card in the future; but if the four of us had had to cancel last night, the resulting $60 “fine” would’ve been the only money I’d ever spend there.

    Mo was a great server this evening. The food was delicious. If you’re hungry you would need to order several more of the same dish. Otherwise they serve great food. Very small menu, but tasty. We had the prawn, burger with fries, and mahi tacos. All finger licking good. the atmosphere is great.

    Wonderful, wonderful staff. Mother’s Day brunch was fun and the restaurant (part of the hotel) is fabulous with thought provoking artwork throughout. Loved the RGB installation and the button wall. We simply went for breakfast but would love to stay in the hotel too. Food was beautifully presented and delicious - and at a great price point. The ambiance is cool and contemporary yet still inviting. Great for a date night, girls’ night or after work gathering - and Sunday brunch, with or without your mom!

    Figleaf is my new favorite bar and restaurant in DC! The food was incredible, you must try the lobster gratin appetize and beet salad. The staff was beyond friendly and made my birthday extremely special. Plus we got to participate in a cookie decorating class after our meal. 10/10 I can't wait to eat here again!!

    The restaurant accepted my reservation via open table for a Sunday lunch. We arrive at the restaurant to find out it is CLOSED on Sundays. This was so disappointing and a huge oversight by either open table or fig leaf.

    OMG! The food was AMAZING!! It Was so good we wanted to send personal compliments to the chef but he was already gone The ambience is sooooooo relaxing feels... like just getting in the middle of opulence! We love the art and the most impactful part for me was the breaking of the glass ceiling art to display how women I’m making changes in the world making an impact! We had the Salmon bowl and salad... Amen and they look like a small portion but it was very for filling and tasty and flavorful! It’s like having a party in your mouth with each bite! Also when my Boyfriend come back from Florida we definitely need to go on a rooftop and enjoy the scenery once it’s open after Covid! The waiter was phenomenal,very accommodating ,fun, great personality and we just felt like celebrities!! We deemed this our favorite spot in DC! Please GO AND CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!
