Amazing brunch, maybe my favorite in the city because the quality and price are just perfect. Fried polenta is next level. As are the eggs in purgatory.
Great brunch drinks for $9, which is a steal for SF.
One suggestion would be to get iced coffee and dairy free milk.
Love Fiorella for all the things, with food being so delicious. Only reason not 5 stars is they push you out if you’re hanging too long and they have an incoming reservation - understand the need but it’s not a great experience to feel like you have to race to finish your glass of wine and interrupt great conversation. So just beware, you have 1.5-2 hours then out!
Delicious brunch. Great Service
Relatively simple menu which is the strength of Fiorella. Good appetizer (wings), pasta and pizza, with only a couple of entrees. Everything was great, and a relatively good value too.
Spectacular on every dimension.
Average. Good service. Food was nothing special. Food came almost too quickly. About 5 min after we ordered.
Our pizzas were amazing. The meatballs were yummy. I like the choices of the 8 oz. wine/quartinos.
Overall Fiorella would get a much higher rating, except service was a challenge. While our immediate waitress was great, the chef/owner dropped the ball. We ordered dessert and were presented with a very small scoop of icecream. When we asked for an extra scoop we were told each tiny scoop was $4/apiece. We were charged on our bill for the additional scoops of ice cream. The ice cream was basic vanilla and not worth the cost or the feeling of being ripped off by the management.
Food was not good, pizzas bland.
Great front of house and servers.
The Salsiccia and the Yick Wo Elementary Pies were excellent. We added the wood fired mushrooms and a soft poached egg to the YWE.
Both the Winter Citrus and the Baby Lettuce salads were great, but, as noted in reviews by others the size of the salads together was just enough for 4.
I would see if it were possible to have a family size Baby Lettuce Salad on the regular menu. Then again, one can simply order two of them.
I liked the Rosso Montalcino from Tuscany, Compared side by side with the Sonoma Montepulciano Dolcetto, the choice was obvious.
The food was awesome and they accommodated my request for a candle in our dessert since someone was having her birthday celebration.
Service and atmosphere where great. My girlfriends loved the pizza. My only complaint was the GF pasta, it was by far one of the worst I’ve tried. Had the Cacio e Pepe, the pecorino was in cold, firm chunks at the bottom, the pasta was intended to be Al dente but was closer to raw and crunchy. Disappointing since this in the only true Gluten Free substitutions on the menu. Unfortunately I don’t think this will be our new neighborhood spot:(
the only drawback is the tables are too close together......hard to navigate 'out' and hard to have a private conversation
Food and service were top rate! We had early reservations, 6 pm, on a Thursday evening. We were seated promptly. This was our first visit and were able to walk about a half mile from our apartment. We will be back!
Brother/ sister bruncheon!! Margherita pizza and French toast! YUMMMM
Great brunch spot!
Love the food, everyone was nice and accommodating, had a great time!
Fiorella’s new menu additions and surprise specials are part of what keeps us coming back - but tonight really exceeded expectations with a special Hanukkah menu of Latkes, Brisket & Kugel in the Italian style of Rome’s Trastevere cooking traditions. Absolutely delicious and on offer through the last night of the Festival next Monday.
Generally great as usual, except they changed the octopus side which was not good. Octopus and tomato - not my thing, and it tasted unusually fishy. Also, someone (other than our nice server) brought the food, dropped it, and walked away without telling us what it was so we had to flag down a waiter after several minutes to ask if we had the correct order. We found out we did, but it isn’t tough to simply announce a dish, and very helpful especially if you’re ordering it for the first time.
From the first step in the hostess short and a tad rude we were a minute early. Told to wait outside in cold. Waitress short and my guess not happy with her job. Unfortunate I was going to purchase a gift card for a large group party but wouldn’t subject anyone to this treatment. Food was ok but distracted by them and their treatment of the guest.
Fantastic brunch spot for me and my boyfriend, very reasonably priced too!
Thank you for the kind words! We hope to see you again very soon!
This restaurant was very pricey for basically pizza place. Will not be returning.

Arrived 10 minutes early to the reservation, and was told we’d have to wait as our table wasn’t available. There were multiple tables open.
Upon finally being seated 10 minutes later, we were seated at one of these already-open tables.

The pizza was very basic and barely a snack rather than a meal. Go to Pizza Delfina instead.

Fiorella Polk is a great choice for those looking for yummy Italian food, good wine and a great atmosphere. The space on Polk is cozy but the food and ambiance make up for the tight quarters.
Hello! Thank you for the review! We so appreciate you taking the time to let us know how we're doing and we hope to see you in again very soon!
I've been to Fiorella on Polk before and had a great time, but this time we went for brunch and our food was super mediocre. We ordered the spaghetti and carbonara, but the carbonara pasta was inedible and almost tasted like nothing. It had no flavor and was just a bowl of mushy pasta and we paid $18 for it... My boyfriend was hungover, so he just ate whatever he could - but it was pretty disappointing since I've had food at Fiorella before and it was great. Hoping this was a fluke accident! :(
Our reservation was perfect. We were seated immediately. Service was quick and attentive. We had the margarita pizza and chicken wings and house red, all of which was wonderful! I am a chef and very particular and was happy we chose Fiorella!

The place was cute (and in a great location) and the service wonderful, but their pizza paled in comparison to other places in the city. Would not recommend for dinner but great for a quick drink!

We’ve been enjoying weekend brunch here for a couple months and were eager to try Fiorella for dinner. It did not disappoint! We arrived a little early for a 5:00 PM Friday evening res, and despite not really being open yet, we were greeted warmly and seated immediately. The place filled up pretty quickly for that early, but everyone there - from the kitchen to the wonderful Megan - are pro’s and handled the crush with smiles and ease. The dinner menu has a broader offering of starters so we kicked things off with chopped chicken liver crostini that arrived smooth, crispy & warm - really delicious. I’m a big fan of their pizzas which are not fussy - just super fresh, locally sourced ingredients fired to crispy crust perfection. My husband had the Pork Milanese Chop, that comes garnished with lightly oiled and seasoned cherry tomatoes. What a chop! It can easily feed 2. We each ordered some wine Valpolicella for him/Rose for me both very flavor-filled - and served in a away that I really appreciate and rarely see. Your wine by the glass comes in a small carafe, with the appropriate glass separately. It’s a very generous pour and nice to savor at your own pace. We’ve really come to love this place. It’s a neighborhood gem and a special destination spot.
Disappointed in the food-first time I went was raving this time salad over dressed pizza had very minimal toppings and wine list pricey
We discovered Fiorella on the KQED tv show "Check Please Bay Area" and we were excited to learn that you were open for brunch! Everything was fantastic except for the fact that we were charged for two margarita pizzas instead of just the one we ordered. Our server quickly corrected the mistake. We really enjoyed our experience and will definitely be back!
Hi John! We're so happy you had fun at brunch! Accidents definitely happen and we're happy to hear things were cleared up quickly. We look forward to having you in again very soon!
Went for dinner on recent trip to SF, as the place was billed as one of the hottest in town. Reservation honored and table ready when we arrived. Waiter very friendly and reasonably knowledgeable. Food was good, I had the Cacio e Pepe and my wife the Pizza Amatriciana. Both very tasty. Only complaint would be the menu descriptions vs. reality. The pizza was billed as having some bacon that must be in the sauce but was not apparent. Desserts were outstanding, but again somewhat different than expected. Wine list is difficult: even for seasoned Italian wine drinkers, who have traveled the country several times. Recognized maybe three of the wines there, none of
