Love this restaurant. Staff and food amazing.
I’d heard Fishbone had a good choice of healthy food options which is why I decided to give it a try, and it didn’t disappoint. The soup of the day was a spicy veg and was loaded with delicious vegetables. For my main I had the salmon tacos with quinoa which were also delicious. The waitress happily substituted the fries which came with it, for sweet potato fries at my request. The children’s options were also very good and all of my family really enjoyed it.
The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful and we had a wonderful evening. We’ll definitely be back.
Food is always really good but the service can be a tad slow
great meal with my wife here on Saturday. will be back
Went for the early catch menu as advertised on their website "Wednesday - Saturday until 6.30pm". Told this wasn't available, that it was a mistake on the website. So we were offered the a la carte menu at 2pm on a Saturday. Calamari were very soggy and the shellfish pot was nearly 85% mussels which was difficult to finish. 25 Euros for the shellfish pot when it was mainly mussels was a bit steep. Korean Monkfish Tacos was good as was the Prawn Pil Pil starter. Staff were friendly.
Fabulous food in a great location. The fish lovers were well catered for with beautiful shellfish and catch of the day options while those not so keen on fish enjoyed a chicken curry, pasta, etc. The deserts were also gorgeous (with plenty of spoons so everyone could share!!)
High Chair for baby was very dirty.
Sesfood Chowder was not very rich but the service was great, the place is very cozy and fish and chips was very very good.
Lovely experience for out of country guests for Christmas on arrival from airport
Gorgeous food, great service, will definitely be back!!
Loved the new menu, service was good. Will definitely be back soon
Pleasant surprise...fish good and cocktails enjoyable. Enjoyed the chowder, and chefs choice of fish. Portions we're good and left happy belly
I booked our table a month in advance and rang Fishbone to request a nice table at the window as it was our Christmas night and the last time we were there we were squashed down the back near the kitchen.I don’t know what you have to do to get a nice table and we were squashed again even though I booked well in advance. We were very disappointed and we won’t be back again. A very squashed feeling in the restaurant which is a pity as the food was lovely.
Excellent food and service. One of the best restaurants in Dublin
Lovely sea side fish restaurant serving wonderful food at very reasonable prices.
I brought my husband here for his 30th birthday and we had a wonderful time. the seafood is delicious - I had prawns pil pil and seabass, and my husband had the chowder and seafood lasagne. The desserts were also fantastic. It was all so fresh and delicious. The staff were fantastic and gave us complimentary baileys when they found out it was my husbands birthday.
The food and service in Fishbone are outstanding. Their seafood lasagne is one of my favourite dishes. The cocktails are also superb.
The staff are friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food and staff! Were very friendly and good with the kids! Everyone was very happy with the meal, would defo go here again
Great selection. Went for early bird ( which has a good selection - maybe next time) BUT couldn't resist the specials board - fantastic selection beautifully cooked.
The welcoming fish aroma on entering Fishbone was an indication of the excellent meal to follow. The Fishbone Chowder was the best I have ever had (and I have had many)
The waiter was excellent and I have already recommended Fishbone to my friends
I visited Fishbone on Sat 26th October. We were a party of two. Our server was Andreas. The service was excellent and the food was equally excellent. The music in the background was very good and not too loud. Initially the lighting was very dim and it was difficult to read the menu but on request the light were brightened. I would recommend this restaurant especially if you like fish.
Choose this restaurant for the range of fish offered. We were not disappointed. Starters chosen were scallops, pil pil shrimp and Oysters with Guinness- the latter rated a winner. Mains were fish (haddock) and chips - the fish in batter was cooked to perfection. Service was spot on, with our attentive and friendly waitress-Paolo (I think that was her name). This was a special lunch celebrating our son's graduation. The atmosphere was relaxed and unhurried- perfect for this occasion.
Staff super friendly.
We had a lovely guy called Alberto who looked after us.
Would go again and again and recommend as a fab place to dine.
I ate at Fishbone when it first opened and it was superb, the food, service and atmosphere.
This sunday was a totally different experience. The restaurant felt grubby and staff were not focused. They do not seem to allocate a station to one person. I order the scallops starters and crab claws. The scallops were tiny and tasteless with three on the plate. The crab claws were a huge disappointment. It did not mention it on the blackboard menu but they came in about two inches of oil with green chilies and garlic - very spicy. They were also very tough and small. I prefer my crab claw with a little garlic butter. Our empty plates were left on front of us for far too long - the staff were not on the ball - it was difficult to get their attention. It was not good and now worth the money either.
Absolutely wonderful evening - greeted with a glass of Prosecco as we were celebrating our anniversary - followed by an absolutely fantastic 3 course dinner that was exceptional value and wonderfully delicious.
It was our first time at Fishbone and must say we had a great dining experience. We were greeted by the friendly Barteneder and were served by very friendly, enthusiastic (not annoying), helpful and professional waiting staffs. We felt very comfortable straight away especially when I kindly requested for the A/C to be adjusted as the heating was blowing right in front of my face when we sat down to our table. The lovely waiting staff also patiently explained to us the menu and the specials for the day. The drinks and menu selections were fabulous. Food was so tasty and deliciously prepared. Our Mojitos for cocktails were a great ice-breaker. Then, we had crab claws and seafood salad for starters. For our mains, we had Seafood Lasagne and Yellow Fin tuna with garlic herbs butter and sweet potato in the side which we certainly enjoyed. The creme brulee and banoffe pie desserts topped our evening to finish our great dining experience. Slightly surprised with the price of the crab claw as a starter was €16, price could be lowered or portion size could he bigger to make it one of the perfect starters! Over-all we were very impressed, satisfied and would definitely come back to try other menus and have already started recommending it to our friends and family. Many thanks for a great first time dining experience. Kudos to everyone 👍😊
Very friendly staff. Complimentary Prosecco was brought to us after being seated and we were made to feel very welcome and special.
Lovely food and ambiance
Well done - keep up the good work 👍
Lovely food in a buzzing atmosphere with friendly and efficient service from the staff. Look forward to eating there again soon!
Great food. Service not great to begin. We were standing waiting for a while in the door. No menus for about 10 mins. But once we got a server it was great. Food very very good. Not cheap but nice for a treat.
The food was amazing, but the service extremely slow
Great food and fantastic, laid back service. Will definitely be back.
Never disappoints, its a skillful execution of their trade. each individual dish perfectly executed.
There is no doubt that the prawns, John Dorey , and Halibut were tip top, but, they came to table overcooked. It is a real pity. Hopefully the team will understand and rectify. The front of house team are very friendly but many different people attended the table. Making someone responsible for the table would ensure good delivery to table. I will try it again, but, overall a disappointing visit. Maybe next time I will ask that the fish / prawns not be overcooked. By the way, the oysters were great.
unfortunately ... i was ill before i left the restaurant..... not sure if it was the fish or sauce
Romantic dinner, got a table upstairs with great views of Dublin bay. The seafood was amazing and great service.
We are here as a family group of 6. 2 children got free meals as it was on a Monday so that helps it work out at better value. Food was very good especially the chips, seabass and children’s burgers. The service started out very good but halfway through was lacking - we kept looking for waiters to order more drinks/dessert and it was hard to get their attention. Apart from that we all had a very pleasant evening!!
I always enjoy Fishbone. Usually have the monkfish tacos. Had really nice chicken wings for starter too
We ordered prawns pil pil 6 or 7 prawns in a really buttery oily sauce not v flavoursome.
Crab legs were so small in fact never seen les so tiny.. 17 e ridiculous. I mentioned how small they were to our server..he laughed
Mains were fine
V poor value.. 200e for 4 with 3 starters and no desserts. Few beers.
Love this restaurant. Food is amazing and staff very friendly.
