Great comfort food!

Great food and service!!

Went there for breakfast. It was very busy at 11:30. By the time we left at 12:45 the crowds had diminished and the noise level had gone down. Pleasant morning/afternoon.

It was wonderful! Everyone kept coming by to check in on us and provide refills or ask if we needed anything else. Definitely didn’t feel rushed and was given the space to enjoy my meal. Will have to come back soon!

Menu items could use more in-depth descriptions. The shrimp and grits entree was chock full of non-traditional ingredients which detracted from the main ingredients, imho. The Impossible Burger remains one of the best items on the menu. As a traditionalist, I struggle personally with the service model here - wait staff bring individual items to diners as the items are ready. For me, this makes for an uncomfortable experience when some guests receive drinks or food before others.

I have dined at Founding Farmers several times and this was the first time that I was disappointed. My husband and I went for breakfast and my food was served cold. The server was attentive and took my plate back to the kitchen but when she came back with my food, it was still "room temperature" in my opinion. I like my breakfast served hot.

The atmosphere was jovial, the service was incredible, and the food was comforting, fresh and delicious. We sat upstairs, which is just a bit quieter to allow for conversation around a large table. Our waitress was kind and knowledgeable, and she brought joy and humor to our table. It felt as though she genuinely cared whether we were having an exceptional experience. The only downside was that the seats adjacent to the railing over the front door had a cool breeze on a chilly evening, but the quality of the server and food more than made up for it.

Absolutely amazing food and service. Our family loves having Thanksgiving there...this was our 5th year in a row!

Good food. JUST VERY BUMMED in how our server packed my doggie bag. I specifically asked for her to include an item on my plate to take home..... and when I arrived home 40 miles away - that item was not there. Very upsetting since the food is quite pricey.

Another terrific Thanksgiving at Founding Farmers MoCo!
We arrived a bit early for our reservation and staff was able to seat us immediately. We had the Thanksgiving Dinner and it was delicious and plentiful. My guest's prime rib was "cooked perfectly" and my turkey was succulent. The included side dishes and corn bread appetizer were a step above traditional holiday fare. This restaurant uses mostly(maybe all) local ingredients and the side dishes showed this. I especially enjoyed the roasted root vegetables and the pecan sweet potato dish. Mom said the mashed potatoes were very good.
I ate my leftovers for 2 meals so, no regrets about our restaurant Thanksgiving. Founding Farmers offers a take home meal too for those who had no left-overs and still want turkey sandwiches with stuffing for another meal or two.
We will return!

Great thanksgiving spread! Would absolutely return next year for this experience.

The best part of the meal was the cornbread...the second highlight was the mashed potatoes...everything else was either too salty; too sweet; or spices poorly matched. While the portions offerred were quite large the overall value was A HUGE disappointment... especially for the price. Recommend more moderate portion sizes of more professionally prepared and delicious meals if you really want to seve holiday fare!

Great food, surprised by the flavors

Pleasant family dinner with our kids who were home from college. Great food and great dining experience as usual!

We sat at the Bar. Dris was great. His suggestions and recommendations were spot on. And he seemed genuinely interested in our choices and conversations. Will definitely return.

The food was good, but the service was weak. Drinks took a long time to come to the table and there was confusion about the beverages. Also, when ordering a salad and entree, both arrived at the same time. The good news is that the food was good!

We are regulars an love the variety of options including vegetarian. Best brunch!!!

Good meal. Excellent cornbread and fried chicken salad, and ship and grits. Best part was excellent server named Amy and kind complimentary cava for a celebration of new job.

We are never disappointed when we go to Founding Farmers. The food is delicious and the service is outstanding.

First time here. Meet up with my wife and best friend for dinner. I had the Ward Eight cocktail with the balsamic onion black n blue burger. Both were awesome. My only take away that might’ve been a dock on the score was the latke sides were nearly overcooked for what I’ve known them to be, but overall solid.

Great food. Wait staff was exceptional. Noise level was the only downside.

Founding Farms consistently makes you wait 15-30 past your reservation time to be seated. There needs to be a better system in place for them to seat their patrons closer to the actual time that they accept the reservation.

Had a reservation, table was not ready. Food was cold when served. And I hate the table we sat at, right near the front and lots of people waiting for a table around us. Way to noisy, will not come back.

We showed up at 11:30 am for an 11:30 brunch reservation. But we had to wait 15 or 20 minutes to be seated. This was the second time that has happened to us. The restaurant should do a better job of managing its reservations.

Great place!

Everything was good except the brisket which was tough and dry.

Not nearly as good as your outlet in Tyson’s. Food was warm, not hot. Had a reservation for weeks and was disappointed that we had to sit at an upstairs table so we missed the vibe of the first floor. Will return to Tyson’s, but likely not this Potomac location.

Good service, didn’t feel rushed even though it was a busy night

I had an 11:00 reservation, and I was told by the hostess ‘you table is just being cleaned off and when the rest of your party arrives you will be seated’. 5 minutes later I let her know that the rest were there. She then told me ‘unfortunately the table is paying now, you will be seated afterwards’. She dismissed me, was not friendly nor did she even smile! I then asked another hostess and got seated right away. The 1st hostess who dismissed us was a young black female, and I am black so this is NOT a race issue. She was just rude, mean, and didn’t care one bit that I had two toddlers with me. I love this restaurant and it is a shame to have someone so unfriendly and un-welcoming at the hostess stand. It should be noted that I had an 11:00 reservation, but wasn’t seated until after 11:15. Thank you to the nicer hostess with glasses and a short haircut, she was lovely and helpful and seated us right away.
