When I looked on the website it said there was heated patio seating. We figured if it’s heated we should be good- it’s the safest option. We made a lunch reservation for 11:45. When we arrived, none of the heaters were on and the chairs we semi stacked. I went in to ask and I was told we could sit outside if we wanted to, but it was cold out there. 😒 We chose this restaurant because it offered heated outdoor seating. We were offered a booth in a section that was empty and since I had just driven 25 miles to meet my friend we took it.
Once seated, our server was amazing and the food was good as always. We had a nice meal and only took our masks off to eat.
The restaurant is beautiful and the food and service are always exceptional. I was just disappointed that during the pandemic the seating offered on the website was not available.
Made a reservation and noted that we were bringing out baby. Called the day of the reservation to confirm the note. Get to the location, they did not pay attention to my note at ALL! Was seated in an area where a baby stand would be a fire hazard. So they had us pack up our stuffed and move to a different section. They section they put 4 adults and a baby in was tight and uncomfortable. Switched our waiter and confused us with the menus. We walked in before 2 PM so one person said we would get brunch until 3 PM. The next waiter said no since it is past 2 PM. Everyone flustered. This place is usually awesome but I get Sunday was too busy.
Britney was outstanding. The food was good. The dessert left much to be desired. Overall, i enjoyed myself

Server was outstanding and very patient with our tiny humans. Food was good and the entire staff was helpful l.
Went for Sunday Brunch buffet, and it was a disappointment. The menu that is on their website makes it seem like there are many options to choose from. In reality, the "buffet" consisted of random items from the menu (minimum of 10 items listed in menu besides dessert that were nowhere to be found). The employees serve you, and the food display looked sad, most had only had a couple of pieces left (the buffet area was not busy). The salads looked terrible, and it just really seemed poorly executed. The "dessert" area wasn't even setup until ~1pm, and there was only ice cream available (2/4 flavors listed). The buffet employees themselves didn't seem happy to be there, and that we were an inconvenience to them when asking for food. We had to ask our server multiple times how we were supposed to get the "kitchen" items and desserts (you have to order them from the server). The kitchen items were the best tasting out of everything. The biggest frustration was the desserts, as instead of being able to choose from the menu listing (~10 different items), they just do a "chef's plate" and bring out whatever they decide to serve. If I'm paying ~$140 for 3 people to eat, I would expect that the items listed on their menu be available. I would also think that the servers should explain exactly what diners should order from them, at the beginning of the meal.

The Tysons location is a much better venue for brunch - the variety is plentiful and well laid out and the stations have their own plates and bowls as well so you don’t have to pile all of your food onto one plate or have multiple. Servers let plates pile up on the table and you have to ask servers to have empty/used plates be removed. Water was similar- we (a party of 5) were given 2 canisters of water and had to continually ask for them to be refilled.

We were a party of 5 . It was my daughter’s 21 birthday. They sat us in a large booth . A large booth is fine for a sit down meal but when you are eating at a buffet it’s a little awkward. The Buffet was very small I felt it had limited options and they ran out of different foods quite often . The ice cream bar was limited to ice cream only they were no toppings offered that was very disappointing. The temperature of the restaurant was very very cold including the bathrooms they felt like I was in a refrigerator. We definitely will not be back for the buffet and we definitely will not recommend it to friends and family. We will be back to dine at the restaurant though eating off of the menu. I do want to say though that our waitress was lovely and very attentive.

The service was excellent! We got a reservation easily and we were satisfied with the spacing given social distancing requirements. We enjoyed our meals- especially the Impossible Meatloaf and the cornbread. I gave 4 out of 5 stars due to the collard greens lacking flavor, ie, acidity. Otherwise, great meal!
The service was really bad. Our waiter was pleasant but we waited forever for our food and he never checked to see if we received it. By the time we received our dessert, the ice cream was melted. Really poor! Plus the food was great either.

It was very enjoyable! The food was great, the atmosphere is a vibe.
We had a great service, timely and very friendly. Drinks were excellent, the food was pretty good too.
Founding Farmers just gets better and better!
We were seated I. The back of the restaurant, clearly in the “kids” area. This was fine, I suppose, but made me feel more like a bother. Service was ok. Our waiter disappeared for a bit so we had to wait in drink refills. He food is always good and we enjoy the selection. Overall, it was a nice evening and we will dine here again. It just wasn’t amazing.

We never received the appetizer we ordered and half of our dinners (2 out of 4) were incorrect. Even after one was sent back, it was incorrect (in the same way) the second time we received it. It took more than an hour for us to receive our dinners. Drink orders also took a long time to receive. Overall bad experience.

The Restaurant has added to all checks a FEE for COVID!!! They do even tell you about it, they just add it to your check and expect you to pay it! 6% of total check...how does that calculate? This is not OK, we have all suffered from COVID and all need to find our way back to the norm without harming others.

When booking, there was no indication that it was buffet only. Definitely not worth the price of admission.
Valentines Day brunch.
Our service was terrible and for Valentine's Day Brunch, twice we had to wait for coffee as we were told it was being "brewed". I spoke to the manager and they ended up comping 2 of the three meals. We love Founding farmers, we eat there all the time, but this was one of the most frustrating restaurant experiences we have ever had to endure.

This was my very first time at Founding Farmers. I have always heard such great things so I was very excited to try it out. I was not entirely impressed. Yes, the variety of food at the buffet was wonderful and delicious! There were a few items brought out to us at the table because we were told they are unable to put them out at the buffet. This included pancakes, bacon lollies, and eggs benedict. Although they were good, they were cold. On top of this, our service was not to par for such a place. I can honestly say it took a solid 15 minutes and a few different reminders to bring us water. We had ordered a hot tea (before our drinks) to which we got the drinks (mimosas and beer) before the tea. She just seemed a little all over the place and not focused. Usually in situations like this I am able to understand that she may possibly be very busy but that did not seem to be the case. The corner table that they put us in was by the bar. The bar able was filled with coats, purses and hats of, I can only assume, workers. It was a mess. This place was talked highly to me but I was not impressed with the service or ambience.
Was super disappointed by the service. Had to ask several times for coffee, Splenda, drinks etc. we were seated outside and it seemed like our server forgot about us. Usually have a great time here- not today.
Don’t do outside reservations in the snow and not have tents.
Nice evening for Valentines. Had an issue with one of our food orders. Ordered the Farmers Platter, which is supposed to have 3 kinds of meat on it. Brisket, Chicken and Chinese Ribs. Apparently they were out of ribs so my plate came out with 2 orders of the brisket. There was nothing said to me about the shortage or that they wanted to make a change. When I brought it to the attention of the waiter, he was also surprised. He went to check and apparently a manager was supposed to come over and notify me before the platter was served, but failed to do so to get my approval. (I probably would have asked for 2 chicken instead of 2 brisket). The waiter apologized profusely and offered to provide us a free dessert which we accepted. The manager never did come and make sure things were ok, which surprised me. This shows a lack of leadership or a poorly trained manager. How do you run out of ribs on Saturday of Valentine's weekend at only 6:30 pm? We tipped the waiter well because his service was fabulous and he did not have control of the kitchen's error, but from a management point of view it should have been handled better.

First time at this location and it did not disappoint. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. Founding Farmers is always my go to spot whenever I get to the DMV.
The Sunday Brunch was fabulous. Best spicy chicken and bacon, French toast and other items. Highly recommend a Sunday Brunch. Well done.
The food was amazing - the service was a bit slow. The big bright jumbotron across the restaurant is a bit annoying. the light level was very high and bothersome.
Their restaurant week selections are the best, the herb prime rib melts in your mouth!
Service was excellent..... the waiter was super helpful but the food was terrible.
Only ordered 2 appetizers devil eggs and ahi tuna. Presentation was like 5 years old kids did the work. Manager took them back and brought the new one. Tuna was fresh and tasted weird and devil eggs were not good either.
Thankfully the manager took off the appetizers from the bills. We only paid for 2 cocktails that tasted good.

We usually have great experiences at FF, but this time was the exception. We waited a very long time for our meal, while watching the to go orders roll out like clockwork. We spoke to the manager, and was promised that we’d receive our food soon, but it still took forever. Other diners were in and out, poor kitchen management, imo.
