The food and service were exceptional, as always! Franny's just keeps getting better and better. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.

We found the menu very limited and somewhat pricey. For a Friday during Lent there weren't a lot of meatless options to choose from.

We had a wonderful time and birthday dinner.. the best was when the owner checked on us twice and wished my friend a happy birthday.. such a change from when it was Francines in a positive way.

The food was fast and great. We had our own private space that felt cleanly and not on top of other customers. We had 4 appetizers that were all to die for. I had the steak frites and it was cooked perfectly but friends are saying days later how they’re still thinking about the French fries!

We were in town for the weekend and picked Franny’s based on the menu and reviews and are so glad we did. Everything from the service to the wine menu to the food was outstanding and we look forward to returning when we’re back in the area.

Franny’s is our favorite local restaurant. We consider ourselves regulars, and are always greeted warmly by Jen when we arrive. The food is always great, the cocktails are perfect, the music is not too loud, the service is efficient but not intrusive and the decor is tasteful. Everything anyone could want in a fine dining restaurant!

As always, Franny's provided us with the perfect venue for our date night. The food is consistently excellent and the service was friendly and timely.

Beautiful and cozy ambiance make this one of our favorite spots to have a date night. The food is wonderful and they truly have the best frites we have ever had. Menu is diverse and thoughtful. Excellent cocktails and friendly service make this a true gem.

Incredible offerings. The gingerbread cake with ginger ice cream was absolutely incredible. Great service though the 6' social distancing was a bit much - just my sensitivity. Didn't diminish the extraordinary cuisine! Definite repeat over and over.

Very good overall experience. We had enjoyed the previous restaurant in that location and the food and experience was on a par. Miss the bar and watching the chefs working the line!

The room temperature wasn’t too hot or cold. The service was friendly and fast. The appetizer and main meal tasted delicious. Decorations was perfect for the occasion. The music playlist was spot on and wasn’t too loud where my girlfriend and I could still talk and here each other. It was pricy but don’t regret going. I would defiantly go again and recommend to my family and friends.

Always a pleasure to eat here, and so relaxing. Jen is warm and friendly. They go a great job at social distancing the tables and making one feel safe.

The owner, who seemed to be the only person in the front of the house, fulfilled all positions, including making our cocktails, in serving us. She even remembered the wine selection of our previous visit. The food, as usual, was superb. I can't think of a restaurant at which I would rather dine in this covid-cursed world.

Another very nice meal, with some fun with ordering the wine. Went back to their scallops and mussels over creamed corn grits. Very good, but needs to be served hotter. Our first server gave the wrong wine for the owner to present but the confusion barely lasted a minute and she promptly back a very good French Grenache Syrah. But the bill ended up with the first bottle price cheating the house by over twenty bucks! After I showed it to the owner she quickly fixed it up, thanking me profusely.
Quiet night for a Saturday but there’s the covid and it’s February in Maine.
We’ll be back.

we love that place. Great food, great service, reasonable prices. A lot of places don't realize the importance of good service but Franny's does. I really love the frites and the homemade ice cream is great. I recommend Franny's to everyone. You can't go wrong with this restaurant.

Franny's is an underrated gem. They had BIG shoes to fill when the beloved Francine's left the area but they more than stepped up to the plate (no pun intended) and Franny's is one of the very best restaurants around. Husband/wife duo Jack Neal and Jen have so much passion for what they do and the restaurant shines because of them. The food is phenomenal, the service staff is the best, and the atmosphere is etherial and relaxing. Jack and Jen have poured their hearts and souls into the business during the COVID madness and because of them, Franny's remains our very favorite restaurant. Well done, Jack and Jen!!

I previously thought this was one of the best restaurants in Camden but I was disappointed with my last visit (Jan. 2021) on several fronts. First, in the middle of the pandemic, the staff was wearing plastic face shields that only sort of covered the lower half of their faces. The service was slow and our table was served by a high school student who was friendly but not well-trained. For example, our entrees were served with no silverware for one of the settings and that took almost 10 minutes to rectify. There was a loud humming electric heater near our table that created a distracting background noise that virtually drowned out the house music. And mostly importantly, the food seemed merely average. Granted it was January and off-season but not the experience that I remember from summers past.

Franny's has been the absolute highlight of our week since moving to Camden 2 months ago. The food is outstanding, the staff is super warm, and the cocktails are what we look forward to on a Friday night. So glad to have made this our spot in town. It's the best!

Fabulous food, wonderful services. The cheesy grits, scallops and mussels are to die for. The menu accommodates a wide range of tastes, from slow roasted ribs, creative salads to the freshest seafood available.
The atmosphere is intimate, yet energetic. Franny's Bistro is the #1 choice for the finest sophisticated, casual dining in mid-coast ME.

We love Franny’s Bistro! We love the people and the amazing service. The food is always delicious. My new favorite is the Arctic Char with mushroom risotto and the most incredible tempura scallions. We also love the gingerbread and ginger ice cream. If you have not been to Franny’s, you should give it a try - you will be so glad you did. Support a local restaurant which is staying open when so many have closed. Thank you!

The food is always excellent. The service is great and we love the bistro ambiance. We go there a lot and are very picky about which restaurants we frequent.

We have been eating at Frannies since they opened and have never had anything less than a fantastic experience. From the wine list to the dessert menu everything is fresh, creative and well served.

We met friends for a long overdue visit and chose Franny's (it's a favorite) and we enjoy it each and every time we are there. The meal was perfect. Everyone ordered something different so we got to have a taste of some great dishes. Everything came nice and hot and in a timely manner. Service was great and timely!
I would highly recommend Franny's. We're always happy when we can snag a reservation and can't wait to return!

Frankly, this is the best restaurant in Camden, and those of you familiar with this area know that that's really saying something. This neighborhood gem, a little off the beaten path (but not far at all) has never failed us. I don't think we've ordered the same dish twice and everything we've tried has been simply outstanding. Drive a few blocks off the main road and put yourself in the hands of the chef at Franny's, and you will never be disappointed.
