Gene and Georgetti - Rosemont
Service was top notch, food was very average with massive portions.
Our waiter SALVATORE made our experience OUTSTANDING. His attention to customer service exceeded our expectations. He was very attentive to my families Food Allergies! Thank you SAL!
Food as usual was fantastic! Our waiter was great - the only complaint - I had a $25.00 gift card to go towards our dinner - did not realize until the next day when looking at the receipt, it was not used or returned to us. I was disappointed in that. My fault, should have looked more closely at the final bill. Other than that was a great experience.
It was wonderful, especially service, including Manager Sergio. Food was delicious and family oriented atmosphere.
Food quality was disappointing. Steaks were served with nothing else on the plate. Fish was overcooked and dry. Veal was just OK. Brussels sprouts were hard and uneatable. Service was good as first, but then drifted away. Water glasses were not timely re-filled.
Everything was excellent and the service was beyond amazing!!! Great evening!!!
Pork chop was huge and awesome
Appetizers were very good
Food was way below average and did not meet the standard you would expect from a steakhouse with their reputation. Steak was underseasoned and char was extremely bitter. Don't spend your money here, way overpriced for what you are getting in terms of food and service.
Although the apps, soups, and salads were good and as expected, the main courses were not. The 22 oz. ribeye was tough and gristly and the whitefish, though good, was not warm when served. This can't be the same G and G.
Wonderful steaks, great service. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Would eat there again.
Good food at very reasonable price; huge portions. Service is good.
Nice place, nice atmosphere, excellent server.
Unfortunately the food in my opinion was not the same as the rest of it. My soup was almost room temperature, we asked for a medium done steak, 2 of them and we got burnt, steak was 62.00.
I wanted a great rib eye while in Chicago.
Great as usual
Food and service were excellent! We’ll definitely be back!
A Chicago classic that never disappoints. Excellent atmosphere, service and most importantly food. Total class that always delivers a memorable evening.
Best oysters on the half shell I have ever eaten!! Our waitress was exceptional and helped to make my birthday celebration one to remember!!
The blue cheese/bacon wedge salad was awesome.. I had the 12oz filet and my husband had the prime rib..we both had leftovers. It was so much better than Gibsons as far as crowd size and noise.
Service was terrible and the food was cold when served.
Food was great and service was too. Would recommend to others
Went for our 40th anniversary because we wanted to have a special meal. I notified them of the special occasion in my open table reservation and when I called and confirmed. No recognition during our seating or at anytime during the meeting. A little disappointing as it was a special event. Overall, the evening was enjoyable.
Always a great experience, from the minute we enter. Staff is great
I love this place. Food is amazing and service is wonderful. The portions are enough for two people. It’s pricey, but wonderful.
Great food! Great service! Been there many times, always outstanding!
Food was ok, nothing special for the high prices. I expected better quality. Some food was really good but most was average.
The t-bone had gristle my husband was a little disappointed for the price
The chicken ala joe was Awesome! I loved it!
For the price soup or salad should be included with your meal
Amazing service and food !
This was a great place that I would definitely come to again. Our waiter and staff were prompt, intelligent, and served us exceptionally well I thought. Only issues I had:
1) Booth wasn't quite big enough for us. I always felt like I was cramped up against the table and that I would kick my friend if I moved my feet at all.
2) Steak char (which they asked if we wanted and I did) was too heavy. The cut and rare plus order was great - the overdone char took away from it. Unless you really like that overly bitter char flavor I would stay away from it.
First time here, travel a good deal. A good steak, nothing to talk about to friends. Med Filet was a nice pink. Outside of steak felt it was a little too much charring. Someone at the table actually asked if I ordered it blackened. Sausage and peppers are a winner, good spice. Overall, good meal. Had same quality steaks at other places for a little less.
Our food was delicious. We had a veal chop and a bone-in NY. Both were delicious. We also enjoyed the mushrooms and sautéed spinach (next time we’ll try the creamed spinach).
We are in the bar and there was a noisy group of adults there, but that’s not the restaurant’s fault.
We’ve eaten at the one downtown too, which has a lot more character- but after picking up at the airport, this is very convenient.
We’ll be back!
Polished service. Attentive without interrupting conversation. We will return.
Just gotta say I was underwhelmed. Ive eaten there a lot and it seems like they have lost their touch. They really need to change things up a bit.
We had a reservation set for 3:00p we weren’t seated till 30min after our reservation time. Over priced meal! Food was cold and food wasnt being replenished. A service fee was included just to have server bring drinks to table. I wouldnt dine there again not impressed at all!
When we arrived we checked in with the host. She heard the wrong reservation and thought we were a party of 7 and rolled her eyes. When I said 3 she said oh what’s the name? We were early and we weren’t called for our reservation until 10 minutes after our reservation time. We were expecting to have the food that was shown for Easter brunch online, but not everything was there. The menu online said there would be snow crab there was none. The food was cold. They started clearing the food even though they were still seating at 3:00. Unfortunately for the price it was not worth it. We were extremely disappointed in our experience.
Easter Brunch was lovely
Delicious Tbone Love the bacon appetizer
Really great service with a solid menu and OK wine list
Great service , great food!
Last night out of six people I was allowed to pick a restaurant! Drinks were good! Salads were great! Then there was a long delay between salads and food? Everybody receive their food, and I ordered the big fillet rare plus? It came out a little better than medium rare and dry, almost like it sat and was allowed to dry out. I tried to eat it washing it down with water,it was terrible for a $54 steak my waitress asked me to cut it in the middle which was a little bit better but should’ve just brought me another steak. I’ve never had an expensive steak that was this bad thanks for The bad experience. To the managers you should be embarrassed I’ve never had this problem at your downtown location.
Overall the dinner was good but the prices are too high. $3.25 for a diet coke is too much without refills. For the money I would go to Morton's.
We went for anniversary and wrote that on our reservation. It was never acknowledged. My husband ordered vodka sauce it was very good but I ordered a special w shrimp in wine sauce and it was too garlicky and salty. It it was Friday and lent I would of ordered lasagna or chicken parmigiana. My go to Italian food. The ambiance was nice after a super loud family and toddler left. Our server was pleasant but never asked how my meal was when I didn’t eat it.
