A wonderful little Italian restaurant located in Oak Park. The food was tasty, the service amazingly good, and the ambiance was very pleasant in this white table cloth eatery. We had a deadline as to when we had to leave, and the waiters made sure that we had more than enough time to get to our next engagement. I definitely recommend trying Geppetto's!
We lived in the area 20 yrs ago and came back to a restaurant we used to enjoy. Glad it is still around after all these years oldie but a goodie.
I booked a 12:30 reservation for a Saturday afternoon and found out once there that it was closed and shows doesn’t open up til 4pm. I’m not sure why OpenTable would have those times available for a restaurant that isn’t available then.
Upon entering for our 1 pm reservation we were standing for about 5 mins while the employees were at the bar with the manager watching football. Waiter Leone finally seated us. While taking our order he focused his attention to the young girls walking outside the window. He seemed to have his focus on other things then taking our orders. He spilled the soup when setting it on the table and never cleaned the floor or the table and we had to wait 5 mins for a spoon to eat it with. The food was ok. Nothing I would drive an hour for again.
Food was great! Service was excellent! Not to noisy! We will be back!!
Booth was falling apart, the server made us feel cheap for using a Groupon, she didn’t pay much attention to us even with a rather empty restaurant and food was average.
Disappointing. Food was bland. Place was empty. Only Groupon customers. Will not be returning.
Had a great meal at Geppetto's. It has been a while since we were there last (moved to further western suburbs) but they did not disappoint. Good food, good service!!!
Good food with generous portions. An excellent value.
Pizza was good service weakened as the meal progressed. No ambience as we were the only ones there for the 1st half of the meal. Besides average service the food was good, wine was barely chilled (Chardonnay) though. I would come back but no rush.
