My family and I enjoyed delicious dim sum here recently. Good service, excellent food. Very reasonable prices!! Recommend this place!!!
Excellent place to order dim sum at a good value. Owner also owns a seafood business, so the seafood is obviously of high quality as well.
We went last minute on a Friday between Christmas and New Year and chose this based on a request to “Siri” the rating was good and location close by to Union Square for a walk. When we walked in, there was only one table, so we felt like we didn’t want to go in, but didn’t want to spend a half hour exploring for a dinner. We are glad we stayed, Food was great, authentic and the restaurant started to fill up throughout our evening. Staff was a good and attentive as well. I would strongly recommend this for Dim Sum, and will try it again during a traditional eating time. Thanks Golden Saba
We went here for dim sum during our trip to San Francisco . It's an attractive space and the staff was very welcoming. The dim sum was outstanding. We had wanted an authentic experience in Chinatown and we definitely got it. Go!
Enjoyed quiet and delicious dinner with my son. Lovey dim sum, great service. A delight.
Only if they specifically asked for a Dim Sum recommendation near the Hilton.
Has a weird smell. The food is good, nothing special.
Excellent seafood and dumplings. Enjoyed all the dumplings and had a wonderful Dungeness crab. Reasonably priced and good service too. Recommend if you want authentic Chinese fare.
Conventional but very tasty dim sum, seafood and some meat dishes are served in an old fashioned but pleasant downtown Chinese restaurant. Service was a bit slow and, though pleasant, not particularly attentive. The prices are very reasonable considering the location. In all, this is a bargain for an enjoyable, unhurried meal if not a memorable culinary pinnacle.
Very good food in abundant portions. Great service. Everything is made to order and quite delicious. The decor is traditional for the Chinatown neighborhood. The bathroom could be updated but was clean. Will definitely go there next time we are in the city and in the mood for dim sum.
Authentic and very flavorful. Will return when I am back in San Francisco.
This is a solid dinner dim sum dinner spot. Like Dumpling Time's more wizened and mature older sibling. We had a reservation for Sunday evening at 7:45 pm and were seated right away. This place is popular with Asian families (the presence of many elderly people was reassuring that this place is the real deal), and there are several family-style dining tables in the dining room. Service was attentive and polite. It took a while for our order to come out, but most of it was delicious. We had the Tom Yum Goong Xiao Long Ba, the Thai eggplant, pan fried BBQ pork Bao, a noodle dish, and custard/green tea buns for dessert. I
We enjoyed everything except for the noodle dish, it wasnt very tasty. But we'll definitely be back for the dim sum!
Various dim sum non traditional
The restaurant was relatively empty when we went on a Sunday night. The decor wasn't anything special, but the food was incredible and for a GREAT price. We got a ton of food and each got a drink for 6 people for about $150 USD. Would definitely recommend heading there for a delicious and inexpensive meal.
Great little spot in Chinatown. Delicious food. Dinner for two was around $30 great value great food.
Enjoyed our food! Would definitely return!
Clean, good food, relatively affordable prices as far as SF goes
It was a solid dim sum restaurant! I wish they had a little more selection (they didn't have turnip cake or cheung fun) but they had all the essentials (ha gow, siu mai, pork buns, etc). There are dim sum places in the city that are more traditional, but this is a great one to take out-of-town guests to! Also, this place takes reservations during the day on weekends. Great!
This was a surprising discovery, it is 3 blocks from work. the food was really tasty, did 4 dim sum items and they were all generous size and tasty. the Shu Mai was especially nice, the shrimp and chive were good, it seems that they are only cooked when you order, so there is no serving trays at dinner, the value was good, and they have nice selection of teas.
Delicious dim sum, friendly service, and lots of other traditional Chinese dishes. The 6 flavors of Xiao long bao was amazing!
The owner and wait staff are so nice, willing to explain any dishes you may not understand. And the free mango coconut dessert is an added plus!!!
My daughter and I wanted to try dim sum for the first time. The servers were most helpful in selections. Please give Golden Saba a try, you will like it!
Very good dim sum. Some dishes seemed like they were made to order. Good portions. Good value.
Good variety of dim sum, at very reasonable prices. Great service. Will definitely be back.
