The restaurant and bar was been refurbed with workmen working directly above customers until mid night on 28 June
We complained to management to be told we are try to finish the work on time
No respect for guests and more concern no health and safety
Customers should have been issued with hard hats
Novotel management a joke only concerned about making money
They seem to forget the customers pay their wages

Service was beyond slow. After awaiting too long to place an order, the wait times for receiving the dishes were exacerbating. Staff on-shift was the main reason, as the restaurant seemed severely understaffed given the weekend. Although the starters were fine, not great, it was again waiting for main meals which lost patience. Of the main dishes, one was overcooked and the other was extremely rationed with ingredients. Upon complaint, the chef did come to our table and took criticism but since their were only 2 chefs in the kitchen, I can comprehend why these delays and errors can occur. Given the surroundings, this restaurant has potential but meanwhile I would recommend others to venture out and find alternatives until staffing is addressed.
