So, so excited to see a restaurant of this quality pop up without being attached to an Inn. Innovative menu, exciting flavors, and great staff.
We are very happy you enjoyed your visit to Greenleaf. Thank you for the kind words. We look forward to having you visit us again soon.
The Rhubarb Strawberry Sangria was INCREDIBLE! I had the cod and it was just amazing. The hand cut french fries with garlic aioli are necessary! Love this place. Will definitely be back soon.
Thank you Amanda. Glad you enjoyed the Sangria. Agree it's so good. Hope to have you visit us again soon RICK
Greenleaf is always a great experience! They did a great job with outdoor dining requirements, amazing food and signature cocktails; attentive and responsive staff working together to take care of patrons with a smile under those masks. 😁
Thank you Sharon. We appreciate the support. Glad you enjoyed everything. Hope to see you again soon. RICK
My husband and I are pretty picky eaters, but Greenleaf was excellent. Service was great and the food was some of the best I've had outside of Boston. We will definitely be back!
Thanks you for your kind words Cara. I am happy you enjoyed your experience at Greenleaf. We cant wait to see you again soon. RICK
Food and drinks were great. They were very accommodating and sensitive to the current times. We took our time to enjoy brunch with friends and never felt rushed. Great new place!
Jill, our server, was very attentive. Matt, the chef, made perfect recommendations. And the desserts were amazing!!
Love this restaurant! It's got a cool vibe and I like the open airy feel. I have been several times prior but had only sat at the bar which I absolutely love. This time we were with friends so I reserved a table. I found it just a little bit noisy, although the others in my party weren't at all bothered by it. Food was excellent as always. And service and cocktails were great as well.
My only suggestion would be to be a bit more descriptive on the menu items. The waitress was great about providing additional detail but she was very busy and the noise level made it tough to hear her. But overall this is one of our new favorite spots and we'll definitely be back!
Food was very good and the portions were reasonable. Waiter was very good. We will go back.
Incredibly good food and drinks! Naomi, is the best!!
Found this on Yelp for our party of 6. Cool converted bank building, nice open interior. Exceptional food, all farm to table. Which is reflected in the pricing.
Owner/manager, Keith, visited our table a few times, delivered some of the dishes, and made sure everything was to our liking,
Would go back again. And again...
They have a monthly Sunday brunch - menu looks delicious!
Food was EXCELLENT!!!! A little pricey but from all local merchants I will pay the price.
You pay for what you get!!! We received a GREAT meal.
So overpriced for small poorly plated portions. There were maybe 8 French fries and my potato leek soup tasted like milk.
The background noise is moderate but good for privacy and not so loud that you can't hear at your table. The food is delicious but the portions a touch small for me. Then again, it's good not to overdo it.
Been here before and always had a positive experience. Unfortunately this time my wives burger was over cooked. They remade the burger but did not provide new fries. Didn’t offer anything for the mistake so wife and I ended up eating separately. Big disappointment
My wife and I have dined at Greenleaf multiple times. It is easily our favorite restaurant, and one of the best in all of New England. The food is always excellent, and the service is friendly, knowledgeable, and well paced.
We went for my wife’s birthday. It was 50% filled on a Thursday evening. Our server was just the right kind of friendly - attentive, engaging, but not out to become our new best friend. The food was awesome. My wife had the cod - perfectly complemented by recipe ingredients. Neither boring nor overbearing. I had the Chicken thighs wrapped in pancetta with polenta - delicious! Entrees preceded by fries with garlic and succeeded with Indian pudding. Yum! Five stars.
The food is creative and delicious, but pricey. The atmosphere and ambiance is great. The drink prices are expensive ($9 Beer compared to $6 next door). I would recommend Greenleaf to others I know that can afford it. It's definitely not a place to bring a family with a couple of children, your bill would be outrageous. Went Tuesday night for their special priced weekly "Burger Night"... 1 app, 1 beer, 1 wine, 2 burgers with fries, shared dessert = $90 before tip compared to approx $55 at other places.
I have never had a bad meal here. Went for brunch today and would love to eat the chicken sliders every day if I could! The drinks were delicious too, would recommend the cherry bomb! And the service is always top notch!!
Hey there, Thanks so much for the review! We all work really hard to bring some amazing dishes to all of our customers so it is really awesome to reach great reviews :)
Excellent quality, and great tasting food! The ambience is also very good.
We were sat right next to the freezing door, great. The waitress who was serving as the hostess was rude and we started wishing we had just gone down the street instead.
The drinks were good, but honestly, how hard is it to mess up classics?
We ordered a cheese plate and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. So a rec for that.
My friend's entree' came with no portion, and as a person who doesn't eat mammalian meat, she requested chicken. Yes, they put chicken on it, but it was wrapped in speck. Great, thanks for sending out something she said she wouldn't eat.
My entree' was the pasta. Honestly, I would love to say it was pretty, it wasn't. I'd love to say it was tasty, it wasn't. I'm sure the chef made some wonderful pasta, but it was massed into a bright green blob with mealy textured chicken and not sure what else. It was very disappointing.
Our server was friendly, though the food came out a bit slow. The atmosphere was pretty nice, but if you leave a place thinking you don't need to come back, it's not worth it.
Greenleaf is definitely a favorite of ours. The cocktails are always on point. The vegetables are consistently amazing. And I don’t know how to describe the deliciousness that is the cheeseburger + duck egg without the use of explicit language. The room is definitely on the loud side, but it’s tolerable and the food is completely worth it.
Thanks so much! We really appreciate that kind words and feedback!
Best restaurant in New Hampshire. I would even go as far as saying they are as good if not better then restaurants in Boston! Their food is out of this world and they support local farms and cook seasonally. This has become my go to spot!
Humbled and honored. Thank you KenM!
How rare to find a place in NH that practices authentic farm to table food with artisanal preparation! The Cod was unparalleled in any State. The owner and staff are friendly and seeing my now passed father-in-laws insurance office converted into this gem of a restaurant is change at its best. (The only thing I would do would be to add a splash of color with new bright bar stools!) Thank you! For providing a go to on my next visit :)))
Hiroko from Oakland, CA
Thank you HirokoK! We are so happy you enjoyed your experience. It was great meeting you! -Keith
Excellent restaurant - great food and service. We were there for Burger Night and they were tasty and unique.
So glad you enjoyed it KCnBarb! Thank you for your support.
Food was phenomenal again. The menu is very creative. Already planning my next visit.
Awesome first-time experience this past weekend! Menu has some great selections, and everyone was thrilled with their choices.
Only suggestion would be to make a reservation a few days in advance. It was very busy Saturday evening and we had to wait about 10 minutes before being seated even with a reservation.
The food is absolutely worth the wait, though!
Thanks so much Marissa!
Good enough to go back and try other things.
Excellent service; interesting and diverse menu. Everything we ordered from drinks, local cheese sampler to our main course selections and dessert were prepared and presented expertly and timely. Our waiter was informative about the menu without being intrusive. Overall, ir was a very pleasant sining experience.
Hey BobK, Thanks for the kind words! So glad you had a great experience!
We have enjoyed dinner at Greenleaf several times since it has opened. Each visit was delectable -- the food is superb, the atmosphere engaging and relaxing at the same time, and the service is excellent. Each dish is expertly prepared with the freshest local ingredients.
Recently, Greenleaf has offered Sunday Brunch. Of course, we had to try it. We were not disappointed. The selection was amazing, breakfast foods and pastries, along with roast beef, shrimp, fish, pasta, soup, and so much more. The polenta with mushrooms that was out of this world!
We've been looking forward to dining at Greenleaf since it opened and were very pleased with the entire experience. Friendly, open and very modern looking on the inside compared with it's historic exterior, we were seated on time and enjoyed our signature cocktails while going over the menu. My Fiancee had the beef, I had the chicken, both were extremely tender and tasty plates and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner as well as the Indian pudding for dessert! Our server was excellent, answered all questions we had with a smile. Don't miss out on a great meal, we highly recommend making a reservation if you've been wondering about checking Greenleaf out! I know we'll be back!
Thank you so much for your kind words. We appreciate it very much. I am very happy you enjoyed your experience at Greenleaf. We look forward to having you dine with us again soon.
Food was fantastic! Cool ambiance. Highly recommend.
Wonderful food and ambience but our waitress was rude and very unpleasant. We noticed after we declined to order any drinks and just had water and tea that she was very short with us and at times, just rude. Very unfortunate experience at a nice place with excellent food.
We had a lovely dinner at Greenleaf, and have already recommended it to several friends. Great cocktails, and the passionfruit dessert we had was out of this world!
Valentine’s Pre Fix menu left much to be desired. Over priced, under flavored. Service was nice but we were given the worst table in the place and a below par Valentine’s menu with no options. Almost $300 for two people after tip. This place needs to apologize for the Valentine’s menu, outside the tenderloin and manicotti, the other three courses including dessert were a waste of time and disappointing.
We are big fans of Greenleaf normally but their Valentine’s Day dinner was something else entirely. Absolutely delicious. We are so blessed to have such an exceptional restaurant in Milford, NH.
Phenomenal ambience, great service, the food and staff are second to none!! Sitting and watching the chefs create was amazing. My wife and I look forward to the next time at Greenleaf! It is our go to date night spot in Milford!!
It was a special Valentines dinner and we were not disappointed. The dishes came out looking so beautiful and tasted fantastic. We were thrilled. I also got the wine paring and it was delicious with each course. Ok
Food was creative, elegant and very tasty. Mixtures of interesting new flavors and varied textures. Really well done. You can tell that the chef has real talent. It was Valentines Day and very busy. Service suffered a bit. Overall great experience. Will be back!
Had a marvelous Valentines dinner. The food was great and the wine pairing was spot on.
Place was phenomenal, easily one of the best restaurants in NH. Creative and unique menu, great chef!
Thanks so much Ryan! Really appreciate the kind words. We work and will continue to work to provide an incredible experience!
