Guy Fieri’s Tequila Cocina

Food was superb can’t go wrong with any of the tacos they offer!
Great food great service!
too expensive for the portion size. for instance $6+ for one taco half the size of a normal taco. $14 for ceviche that is a third the size of what you could get at any other restaurant.
My beer glass was dirty and almost spilled when delivered. Sticking to the servers fingers.
Music was rock, not Mexicano as the restaurant themed.
Guy should show up as his name is on the restaurant and try the food himself.
Both of us were sick the next day from the pork or the black beans.
Bad choice on our part for trying this place. I don’t give it long..
We were disappointed in our first (and last) experience. There were barely any guests in the restaurant at 8:30 PM on a Friday night, which we thought was odd. But, with that, our server was never around to assist us. My friend asked her recommendation for drinks with no tequila... she brings her a coconut margarita. It took her a good 25 minutes for her to return to our table to take our order. My friend ordered two tacos and only received one. The guacamole was depressing. It looks like it was blended in a blender and stored versus chunky and fresh. There really isn't an excuse for the service and kitchen issues since there were minimal guests in the dining room.
The food and drinks were spectacular. The service was very less than spectacular. Our table wasn’t ready for us at our reservation time and then they sat another party before us that the hostess mistook for us which causes a further delay. Our waitress whispered and we couldn’t hear her and she was very meek and timid making it difficult to interact.
Phenomenal food! Amazing proximity to Big Night Live and the TD Boston Garden.
Loved it... food and staff were great! Will definitely be going back.
The food was not at all what I expected. Nothing to do with Mexican food.
An overall really good experience! We ordered many larger plates and shared them with our group so that we could try as much of the menu as possible!
Kind of a loud and awkward space but man, the food was good! Expensive but really tasty!
Not worth the money
Our server Marcus was amazing ❤️
The food was only okay, and very overpriced.
Pricey but very tasty. I would go there again though.
I had a great time there with my friend, the decor was beautiful and the food was full of flavor! 10/10 will definitely be telling my friends about it and recommending it to others as well!
Food wasn’t what I expected. Not popping with flavor. Best part about the place is the venue. Which also has the draw back of zero parking ability.
Food portion was a little small. Great atmosphere
My husband looooves tacos. And we both enjoy guy Fieri’s restaurant in nyc. Seemed like. No Brainer to go to this restaurant. Food was terriblly disappointing. Tacos were expensive and small. Guacamole tasted like a plain Avocado. 2 tacos, 1 order if guacamole and 1 margarita came to 50$. Could’ve been more satisfied at Taco Bell
Food was fantastic! We ordered the shrimp and corn guacamole which was delicious. Fish taco was also fantastic. Fun vibe and decor, but still easy to chat with friend.
Food was OK - was expecting better. Some things better than others, but none were less than average. WAY too loud club vibe for my liking - depends on what you are looking for. Convenient and acceptable if you are coming from/going to an event at TD Garden, but I would not go out of my way to go back.
Guys Cocina was something I was looking forward to for a few weeks to celebrate my birthday. After numerous times the restaurant reached out to me to confirm my reservation (after I confirmed through OpenTable) I expected it to be insanely busy so it made sense to me. Sunday evening, Super Bowl Sunday, hotspot in Boston. The restaurant was completely empty so I don’t understand what the craziness was about?
Our server, Tom, was amazing. Super nice guy. Helped with recommendations, personable, funny, outgoing, overall just great. Our food however wasn’t the BEST. I think because it’s a Guy Fieri restaurant I expected more from it. My brother had fish tacos and they weren’t fresh, he described it as, “tastes like they were sitting out for a while waiting to be microwaved”. Drinks were alright, wish they had a frozen option but Tom let us know they do not have a blender. Tom made my birthday experience great, wish the food did as well!
Definitely glad I got experienced this place, but unfortunately wouldn’t go back or recommend.
beautiful place with great service, drinks were overwhelmingly sweet.
Great food and ambience, worth the trip to Boston
Drinks not great
Food good, service excellent, price okay but music wayyyyyy too loud!!!!!
From the food and drinks to the decor and music, it's pretty much what you'd expect from a Guy Fieri restaurant. Whether or not that interests you is up to you, but we've been twice and loved it all (especially the trash can nachos)
Disappointing and overpriced. $14.00 House Margarita tasted pre made with sour mix. Other margaritas were better for $1 or $2 more. Tiny portions of food and not great flavor. The service was only good thing, very nice waitress and manager came to check on us and helped waitress out when she was busy.
The food is not the best I’ve had, also not the worst. The tacos were alright. I tried the chicken, cauliflower and the fish tacos. The fish taco was the best of the three. Really great crisp. The chicken taco was a bit dry, and the cauliflower was a bit overcooked and too soft. Go here for some great drinks, guac, and a fun vibe. I’ll be back for that.
If I want the total experience for a great mexican dinner though, Lolita still wins for me.
Good food, service was just ok.
Everything was great! Would definitely come back. Wish I looked ahead at the parking. Ended up going into the garage and paid $40. There wasn’t even an event so the garage’s website wasn’t accurate. Other than the parking the rest was worth the visit.
Greate service and our waiter Josh was fantastic. However, food and drinks were very mediocre.
Talk about breaking your bank. Food quality was good, but in the SMALLEST portions and for the HIGHEST price. On top of it, we were asked if we wanted drink refills 35 times and by any and every server who walked by. No, I don’t want another $15 mediocre marg that’s 95% ice. Won’t be returning.
Great service! And really enjoyed the pulpo and esquites, and the sizzling molcajete which was like a taco version of fajitas with really good value. Drinks were a little sweet over spicy. But overall a solid place among the new Hub on Causeway options right now
Fun Louder Spanish music would help the ambiance.
Club and restaurant should work together more. But tickets at your table, etc...
Great bartender, and food was excellent! I would highly recommend it to anyone.
The food was yummy but there were very few menu items to choose from.
Food was okay, very salty. The waitress said they’re known for the best margaritas and mine had zero alcohol in it & tasted like just marg mix with two ice cubes. Way too pricey for what you get.
The food was good, but if you want exceptional Mexican then go to Lolita’s. You get more food for your money, a larger menu, and much better margaritas. The tacos were good, but some of the shells were soggy. The fish taco was also not meaty enough to be $9. Chips and guacamole were yummy. Dessert was fantastic. Service was great and they are very accommodating of food allergies. It’s good, but there are better spots in Boston.
Food was great and our waitress Kara was amazing
