Harvester - The Rayleigh Weir
I enjoyed my birthday dinner great service nice tasted food I will back there
They first couldn’t find our booking. We waited over 20 minutes just to get our drinks served. Food was over cooked and over priced for the quality. Very disappointed. Badly managed.
Service was poor we had to ask for drinks & service, no mash or cod, salad bar had no lettuce or cucumber, only 2 salad dressings, overall very disappointing shall stick to honeypot
We turned up for our reservation to find that the restaurant was closed for 3 days, for refurb/ new flooring!!
Wasted journey & no Birthday meal for my Husband 😡
Unfortunately not the most idyllic setting, but accessible with adequate parking. Its not upmarket but all the same its cheap fair.wasn't impressed the waitress took my guest plates before I'd finished eating but that's youth with little experience. Oh, and they couldn't find my online booking but thankfully the restaurant was empty, so the sat me, and my guests. But £80 for four with drinks, albeit only one course, you pay for what you get. If it was a birthday, or more special occasion I appreciate I'd have gone to a better restaurant and paid £400 +. But then again a restaurant is only what you make it .
Having owned a catering establishment for 7 years , dining is the most critical Game to run. Everyone's pallet is different. But if the ground rules and principals are there and right from the start , its a recipy for success. But bad ill train managers who don't know can't be expected to train staff to any standards.
Wanted a nice family breakfast after visiting basejump, no one came to greet us for the 1st 10mins if entering the building. Staff kept walking past and looking at us but we were ignored. Then once seated were left for 25 mins before our order was taken. Food was just chucked in the plate, hubbys waffles were rock hard, and no cups for the ‘help yourself’ coffee. No one came to replace them in our time at the restaurant!!!! Won’t be attending again
Great food at reasonable prices
Staff very welcoming. Our server Adam was courteous and efficient
The chicken was perfectly acceptable as was the salad. The service was poor and the steak was more like a minute steak rather than the real thing. I think that the food is of a low grade generally I am afraid. But like all of these type of restaurants most of the food is deep fried - so you get what you pay for.
Waitress rushed us through every course then gave us our bill before we were ready for it. We felt hurried and unwelcome.
