Excellent food service and ambiance Great find in Yorktown Can’t wait to go back again

Went for first time and was welcomed with a full staff and prompt service great food will return

We were looking for a nice place to celebrate a late Valentine's Day dinner and decided on this steakhouse. I made reservations on open table very easily and we were promptly seated upon arrival. We had a really nice table off to the side. Everyone was spaced out and all employees were masked up. They cleaned tables throughout the night very thoroughly.

The menu is not extensive (personally I like this a lot) and it has so many things that we liked! They also offered several specials! If you like wine, this is your place. They have an amazing menu of bottles as well as a nice list of by the glass options. I had two glasses of Pinot noir which were very tasty (and they are generous pourers here too). The cocktail list looked intriguing but I really wanted wine so next time I'll get one of those.

We ended up going for the bacon app and Buffalo mozz salad. Both were delicious! The bacon was perfect! Crispy on outside and soft on inside! For our entrees I had the filet mignon and my husband had the ribeye. We shared onion rings and spinach. We also asked for a side of this port wine reduction which was a really great compliment to the perfectly cooked steaks.

For dessert we each ordered something amazing and I had a cappuccino. Overall the night was a great success. There was a longer than normal lag time between when we were done eating the meal and when they came to clear the table and ask about dessert but it wasn't too bad. They were very busy. One thing I would suggest would be to bring out the steak knives either before or with the meals as they are delivered so we can eat right away.

This is a beautiful place and can't wait to go back!

The steak selection was small. Most cuts for two. Would like to see T-bone and porterhouse added and a Ny strip manageable for a women. Service was slow but to be fair it was aSaturday. Bar drinks were perfect. Our meal was also done to perfection.

We've been to Hudson Valley Steakhouse several times over the last year and a half and enjoyed it each time. We also felt very safe while dining during this covid-19 time.

We went here for Valentine's Day, the steak was superb and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend!

Great experience and terrific time

For appetizers we enjoyed the fried calamari and mussels possilipo, both were delicious and were served piping hot. We both had steak as our main entree, petite filet mignon and the 18 oz rib eye...both were perfectly cooked (medium - pink throughout) and of the highest quality meat. We also shared a large baked potato and creamed spinach as our sides.

The service staff was superb...very attentive and the meal was perfectly spaced...we thoroughly enjoyed our 2+ hour meal.

I highly recommend the Hudson Valley Steakhouse for any special dinner!!

I have been to top tier steak houses and Hudson Valley Steak House is right up there with them all. I was blown away at how well the food was prepared and tasted. Will surely be back

Great for parties. High ceilings and excellent ventilation, and table spacing. Everyone wears their masks.
Food is 5 star. Exec. Chef Timothy seems to always be "ON" with turning out the best in a lobster tail and filet minion.
They managed to keep the garlic out of my rack of lamb (saved me days of medication and misery with allergies)
Most attentive staff and professional and personable.
The price is well worth the overall experience!

Always a great dining experience. The wait staff is absolutely fantastic. The steak is cooked to perfection. If you try the calamari for appetizers, you will not be disappointed

Totally enjoyed our dinners.. we were a party of six celebrating an anniversary. They were definitely socially distanced. I thought the shrimp scampi was misleading .. pricey and did not come with pasta that was an extra $12.00. That’s the only complaint . Other than that it was a great evening

Our dining outing to Hudson Valley Steak House was the first visit for both of us. We chose this restaurant based on the many excellent reviews it received.
The ambience is extremely warm and inviting, the service impeccable and the food beyond excellent. Additionally, the decor is incredibly tasteful and the lovely tapestry-like room dividers most creative.
One might think he/she is dining in an upscale Manhattan restaurant.

Celebrated my fiancé's birthday here and the service was incredible! Great atmosphere and food is some of the best quality in area. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a top notch dining experience. We will be back! Thanks to the amazing staff for such a fun and memorable night : )

The service was excellent and the food was great.....

Waiters were excellent. Tomahawk steak for 2 came out basically raw. Had to send it back; came back cooked perfectly med-rare. Unhappy the bone did not get packed to go with the rest of the food we did not finish. This is the first steakhouse I’ve ever been to that kept the bone.

Our first time back since the shutdown and we felt very comfortable. Always such a wonderful meal and they made it even more special, if that’s possible.

Overall it was a good experience. Place was very nice. Service was good. Prices were reasonable until you got to the steaks. Little pricey for a steakhouse that’s not well known like a Morton’s. But our steaks were very good. Would definitely recommend and go back.
