Amazing place! Definitely planning on going back!
Had brunch with my best friend here, and it was delightful! The breakfast grilled cheese was amazing. Can’t wait to go back!
Great food and service. Much better than our previous experience.
Didn’t give 5 stars for food because sweet potato fries weren’t really tasty, not bad but good but improved.
Absolutely great service!
Our server Clay was amazing! The place was packed and the food and drinks were good.
However... keep in mind here, our table consisted of 4 service industry people. We know what busy is. We know what brunch service is like. And we know what table timing is.
The four of us are very good friends and we hadn’t seen each other all together in months and we were celebrating one of us getting a new job.
As we were getting ready to leave, (one friend still had half a drink in hand) the host comes up to the table and informed us that they have a 90 minute table limit and he’s had a table waiting for 20 minutes...
Not only were we already leaving but none of us have ever been to a restaurant in any state or star rating where we’ve been asked to leave. If that’s a stipulation it should be stated before you make a reservation.
Honestly, we had a great time but after the bad taste that was put into our mouths prior to leaving, we won’t be back.
Hutch does have a 90 minute table time. It's very rare to ask a table to vacate. unfortunately 2 hours and forty five minutes was far exceeding our limit, and with no tables available my last reservation sat 15 minutes before our kitchen closed. I apologize you felt offended but I do have to think of all my guests.
We went to catch some of the Andersonville Restaurant week. There were several good choices, though this is another restaurant that seems to think mashed potatoes don't need gravy; that's wrong, they do need gravy. I thought $9 was a bit much for a glass of wine, but their house chardonnay was pretty good. The big problem I had was the noise level. The dining room wasn't full, but it was loud, even with the TV sound turned off. Also, dimwit diners kept both doors open at the same time. It gets cold very quickly when stupid people do that.
It is very loud and the food was just so so. This time it wasn't the best food. It seems as though the quality is not consistent. The server was great.
Waitstaff super friendly but initial drink and appetizer service really slow. We were in no hurry but it could have been faster. Refills were much better. Overall food great everyone enjoyed themselves. Woul come back again
Upon entering the establishment, the bartender gave us a very friendly greeting. We were told we could sit anywhere we liked, menus were provided, and drink order was taken. Aidan(?) was very kind and hospitable. 🙂 Unfortunately, my entree was only lukewarm. I didn't want to complain, but that was a little disappointing. My drink, a blood orange paloma, was very tasty. 😋 I would return to Hutch: Andersonville again. 😊
Thanks Kathy, Aidan is a rock star! We are always happy to re-fire your food or make something else, right away. Pleas don't feel it's an inconvenience to us, it's our pleasure to meet all our customers needs. Cheers, see you soon.
Brunch with family , overall experience was acceptable. We will go back again sometime but not in the near future. There’s so many choices of restaurants around Andersonville neighborhood.
The food was delicious and they were able to make any accommodations we requested. Easy to have a baby at the table as well
We came for brunch on a Saturday and was pleasantly surprised with how many people were there. It’s a small space so I imagine had it been full, it would’ve felt cramped. The food was average: my boyfriend really enjoyed his chicken but my steak burger fell flat. Overall, we would try it again.
Food is good quality and drinks are also quite good. What really separates Hutch is the service. We had a larger group birthday party and the service was just exceptional. Found the right balance of attentiveness vs letting us enjoy ourselves, recommended good things, and just took care of us.
Also, compared to a lot in the area, this is a fantastic value. The bill came out significantly lower than we expected.
Pork chop was delicious! Service was a little slow but still made it out in time for our show. Our only real complaint is the chairs. They are SO uncomfortable, especially for normal sized older adults. Otherwise a good spot for comfort American.
I was very satisfied with the overall experience. The menu was diverse and priced reasonably. The ambiance was family friendly, but also appropriate for date night. The cocktails were delicious and beer options were great.
This is a family-friendly place in a fun neighborhood with fantastic happy hour specials and really nice service.
food was excellent and our server Shawn made it the best, food can be good anywhere, but I like to go to a restaurant for the food and the service, as well as the atmosphere. This place always feels welcoming and is consistently very good in food and service.
We got to Hutch early and had some of their delicious happy hour appetizers and drinks. Meals were great. We would definitely go again.
Thanks! We look forward to seeing you again
The brunch menu is well thought out where there is something for everyone without being boring. The service is exceptional.
Kitchen was slow as was the bar. This affected the waitstaffs ability to be effective. Food came out was below acceptable temp and they missed an entire entree ordered for the table to share.
We clearly indicated on our reservation that we were celebrating a friends birthday. However, there was zero acknowledgment of that from our server. The food was OK, not particularly notable.
Food and service was great. The menu is weird and all over the place. The drinks were not good.
Was ok experience. Good for just meeting up with friends. Nothing fancy. Good was decent. Good beer selection. But not really worth going back with so many other options.
We had a great time here! Drinks were on-point (smokey rosemary? yes, please!). Food was delicious. Server was terrific - friendly, but not invasive. Heck, we would have invited him to join us, he was that delightful, if he had time. We cleaned our plates and then made room for dessert, which was also delicious. Will definitely come back and recommend.
Thanks for all your delicious words! We take pleasure in creating new and innovative flavors whether they are food items or specialty cocktails, and yes our servers are the best!
I’ve been to the Lakeview location many times, and this was my first time at the Andersonville location. I find the staff in Lakeview to be far more warm and welcoming than what I was greeted with today in Andersonville. Food was still good, but definitely disappointing to not get the same level of warmth as I’m used to from the staff.
We went for our anniversary dinner (little more low key than usual since we went on vacation the week before). We enjoyed the food a lot but it took a long time to come out. We ordered a starter but it didn’t come out until the same time our entrees did and the starter was a little cooler than it should’ve been. Taste wise though, it was delicious! One of the best veggie burgers I’ve ever had and my boyfriend loved the steak burger! Excellent value.
Lovely. Food was great. It was a very quiet dinner so we had quick service. The cocktails were very good.
The food was excellent as was our waiter. The main downfall was waiting 40 mins after the reservation we had to be seated.
Meh. nothing exciting, nothing novel. just meh. I go out to a restaurant to find something better or more interesting than a hospital cafeteria. didn't happen here.
Please, lets have a conversation on your experience I would be interested in knowing what was ordered. John at HUTCH Andersonville
I love the Hutch brand and its food. But had the avocado toast and it was super bland and dry. The Sriracha chicken had no flavor and was super dry. Avocado toast is hit or miss so guess this one is a miss. Everything else was good! Service, drinks and ambiance. And my man loved his chorizo Benedict!
AWFUL is all you need to know.
I dined there on Sat the 19th with a group of friends. Our server was very pleasant, but could have been more attentive. We had to get up to get more water for our table. I ordered the beef brisket and it was dry and hard. It came with a very good horseradish sauce and I was never able to get her attention to get more.
I got up and went to the restroom in the hallway and the room I went in had no toilet paper. I went out and told the host who disappeared into another doorway and I waited for him. He came out without toilet paper and told me it was not his problem or responsibility, that the bar next door took care of the restrooms. I asked if there were others and he said no, that was it. So he told the busy bartender on the other side and the 2nd restroom became available which did have paper. Both toilets were not flushed and it took an engineering degree to figure out the correct way to wave your hand. Don't think I will rush back there
Sorry for your experience that evening, I remember you fondly. I would have loved to hear more about the brisket that evening it would have been my pleasure to replace it with a more pallet-able one. Please note there are additional bathrooms in that door I disappeared away in, downstairs. It is posted clearly on that door. Our new fall menu is out, I'm sure there is something you would enjoy, contact me here at HUTCH my name is John, I am the store manager.
Everything was great besides the lights that kept becoming bright and then flickering to a dimmer level. Seemed as if there was an electrical issue. Didn’t ruin our experience, but was slightly annoying.
Nice people. They have a very nice happy hour also with nice wines and bar foods at a great price. I ordered the avocado chicken pizza because it was something I have never had. It was one of the best pizzas ever!!! Also the fish tacos are very good. Has them there before. All in all an enjoyable evening with good food and friendly atmosphere.
Great space and brunch menu! I was there for a work meeting, although plan to return on a weekend with family and friends.
Clay was quite the server! Super cute and pleasant! Very attentive! The cheesy potatoes were way better than the other locations! Also Tasha the hostess was very kind and accommodating! It's totally visit this place again before the other brunch places in Andersonville!
Food and service was amazing! We were really impressed. The only complaint was that the noise level was pretty high at Sunday brunch so not a great place for those who have trouble hearing.
Cocktails were good. Service was friendly. Food just wasn’t good. Shishito peppers were huge and over cooked. Pizza was terrible. Really disappointing meal.
Nice outdoor seating when not crowded. Good coktails / beer menu. Excellent variety of food types for brunch. Very good service.
Despite my 3-star review for this experience, I'd still give Hutch in Andersonville a recommendation to friends. On this particular occasion two things really steered my review towards less than 4 stars. 1) The time for our service was terrible. Our waitress was quickly attentive and took our drink orders and then food orders when we received our drinks about 5 minutes later. Excellent timing! Then it took 45+ minutes to receive our food. We watched as table after table around us received food with many of them having ordered after us. It was disappointing to say the least. 2) The breakfast pizza my girlfriend ordered was very unappealing. She found it to be far too thick with a load of bread with potatoes on top as well. The cheese was crusted on around the bacon. I enjoyed my breakfast grilled cheese and my friend enjoyed his meal though.
On other trips, I've had way better luck with Hutch for both food and service, so I still give it a nod as a great breakfast spot, but this time was a bit lackluster.
