Il Michelangelo Weston
Traditional Italian lasagna cooked with béchamel, bolognese sauce and mozzarella
Spaghetti with crispy bacon, cream, black pepper, egg yolk and Parmesan
Deep fried squid served with lemon tartare sauce
The food was divine, well worth the spend staff were super friendly and patient, closest uk experience to actually being in Italy 🇮🇹
We book a table here everytime we stay at weston, this is a fantastic Italian restaurant and fully recommended.
It never disapoints
Good service and excellent food. We were there for a birthday and anniversary and everything about the restraunt just made the occasion better.
This is a beautiful Italian restaurant with great views of the sea and Westons beach front.
The staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel at home.
The food was amazing, its arrived to the table in perfect time and was incredibly moreish. I can't wait to go back!
The food, service and atmosphere were all really great.
Lovely space and amazing food. Can't wait to go back again.

Lovely food and service was great. Would highly recommend.
Really good food service was impeccable we had an excellent time and would recommend to anybody
It was a lovely night! Amazing antipasto and amazing mains! The staff was incredible, everything was perfect!
We had an excellent meal!! Food was absolutely incredible.
Service was very good until we wanted to order desert and get the bill, felt we weren’t that important. a couple next to us was also the same. But didn’t ruin a lovely night will definitely be back.
This was our first visit and it was our wedding anniversary. The restaurant ask when booking if you are celebrating a special day, but no mention was made of it by any staff all evening. We arrived early (7.30 for a 8.00pm booking) introduced ourselves and decided to sit outside to have a drink. The drinks arrived after 10 minutes. At 19.50 a different waiter arrived and asked if we were ready to order. We asked for a few more minutes to decide. We were then left till 8.20 at which point I was ready to pay for the drinks and leave. We had been forgotten about, which is simply unacceptable especially as we were the only people outside. Being reserved, British, and not wanting to cause a scene, we went inside the restaurant and were shown to a window table. No apology was given, instead the blame was shifted to us, the restaurant staff saying they thought we were coming inside and were waiting for us. (This was later proven as a lie, as the waiter delivering our starters took them outside!) At this point we should have walked out but it was our anniversary, and hopefully the food would make up for the poor start. Nope. For starters I had the Calamari Fritti. Very average, very uniform and no different than from a supermarket frozen counter. My wife had the Bruschetta Michelangelo. Nice goats cheese but the bruschetta was 'soggy' and not crisp. For mains the chicken in the Pollo Principessa was dry, and my pizza (Quattro Stagioni) was about the worst I have ever had at a restaurant. The peppers and mushrooms were undercooked, the presentation was terrible, the base was soggy. I would suggest the Chef tries a Lidl 'Specially Selected' pizza to learn what a pizza should be like. After the initial 'incident' we did not feel welcome, and the staff were not attentive even though the restaurant was not busy, and not one 'happy anniversary' so why bother asking customers when they book? A poor experience all around.
Food was amazing but our server was awful!!!!!!!!!
Lovely food good service great setting especially when sitting outside..staff helpful.
If you like Italian food you will enjoy this restaurant
Excellent food, great staff will definitely be returning 👌
Lovely evening, helped by high tide and warm weather. Service good, food excellent.
Will certainly return soon.
Seriously good Italian food apart from a faux pas of one incorrect order of Spaghetti Carbonara which was rapidly replaced by the Frutta di Mare I had ordered for one in our party. One dish fresh halibut in a lobster sauce over a bed of mashed potato was superb! Waiters are on top of it and make you feel very welcome at their restaurant.
It was my Wife’s 50th Birthday, so wanted to go to a special place, of which Michelangelo’s is.
We’ve been before & it never disappoints. The food and staff are brilliant
Service was great, wasn’t too keen on food. Starter - the Michelangelo bruschetta- had a huge piece of goat cheese on top which masked everything else on the plate. The cod dish was pretty bland, nothing special.
Too busy and not enough staff - waited 90 mins for food
THis was a fabulous restaurant. We travelled to Weston at the end of our holiday from swanage before travelling back home to Essex and can honestly say the food was fantastic. We had a warm summer evening which made it ideal to sit and eat outside. The staff were all great and so glad we booked in advance as it was very busy.
We had a great time on Saturday evening.
The restaurant was really busy and we had a table booked for 5 including 3 young children but the food, hospitality and service was still amazing.
Loved how everyone made time to make a fuss of my children which really made us feel special.
Thank you so much!!!!
It was busy and there was clearly not enough staff on taking order's..
The food however more than made up for the wait to order.
Great presentation and good flavours to the food made it a great treat and would definitely recommend to friends and family.
Excellent service at our favourite restaurant in Weston super Mare
Excellent choice, mouthwatering food, would go again.
Third time here, and third time excellent! Super food friendly staff and great outside area
We were really disappointed during our visit as regular visitors to your Mediterranean restaurant in Congesbury. The starters arrived and were cold, and bland. The main courses were even more disappointing. The streak came out rare instead of medium, which was confirmed by your staff. The cod had a strange taste and when asked about it, we’re told that it was due to the seaweed, despite the dish containing no seafood. All three party members who had the cod, did not eat it. Service was very slow, we sat for a while waiting to order and for payment to be taken (this was a common theme as many other patrons were also saying the same to staff).
Great family run business. Wonderful authentic food and incredibly attentive staff
Lovely pizza but we booked because we wanted the lunch time special which is no longer served . Menu has changed . No mushroom starters ??
Plenty of choice for food with daily specials which were described along with price. Very busy there but we we had brilliant service and food was delicious
Must be the best Italian in Somerset
Been going there for many years and never been disappointed
Excellent food, good service and value for money.
As always a really lovely evening out with friends. The food was absolutely fabulous, the waiter was friendly, helpful and attentive. We cannot fault this restaurant.
Wonderful food and perfect service makes this a special place, even the kids seem quieter! Well laid out, well managed and a great ambience will bring me back again.
