Chef Salad was excellent. The chicken cheesesteak was good but the roll was not as great. Love the BYO. Friendly warm service. Always a welcome meal and reasonable price. The pork osso Bucco is very good when available.
When we arrived, no hostess and sign that said “seat yourself”. Restaurant was full so no open tables. Told a server we had a reservation on Open Table so she found us a small table in the hallway. No one came to our table so after 10 minutes we walked out. Food might be good but we’ll never know. Very disorganized, we won’t be back.
Great meal, friendly service Highly recommend👍👍👍
This is a neighborhood restaurant that serves very tasty Italian food. We go to this place whenever we are in the Somers Point/Ocean City vicinity.
Homemade pasta amazing.
A very quiet and peaceful restaurant with excellent food!!
Might give this place one more try in the off season... it took nearly an hour for 2 entrees to arrive and the staff isn’t prepared to compensate for kitchen problems.
Good food at good prices. For a smaller restaurant , it never felt crowded. The large menu offers plenty of choices.
My only complaint is the salad plate should be larger. The salad overflows onto the table, which is sloppy. Plenty of good parking.
Very welcoming. Service was excellent. Extensive menu. Great local restaurant.
The food was not good. I’d say it was fair at best. Two of us had the Eggplant Parm. It was soggy and tasted old. The sauce was acidic and the cheese was overbearing and tasted sour. Another had the Chicken Parm and same complaints with sauce and cheese. The fourth dinner was Pasta Carbonara which was dried out. They advertise homemade ravioli and certain oatas. It’s not homemade at least not there. The pasta shapes were all too perfect to have been made in a pizzeria kitchen. For the quality or lack thereof for this food the prices are out of range. Instead visit Casaldis located about three miles up the street in Central Square in Linwood. That’s hommade. Too many other places around that you shouldn’t have to eat this slop
The food is good but not fabulous. The service is very good. We would probably go back if we lived in the area. We did not go back to it on our vacation.
Great food and service for the dollar.
Italian street is a pleasant surprise. From the outside it doesn’t look like more than a pizza shop, but it’s got a very charming little dining room. The music played throughout is very soft jazz and it’s very soothing. The prices are good , the portions are fine and we enjoyed our meal.
Italian Street is a BYOB pizzeria with tables and takeout. The appetizers, dinners, and desserts were good and services was terrific. It is not that big inside. There are probably 7 to 8 tables and a counter with stools. There are no round tables. Restaurant was extremely clean.
We love it here! Food is excellent and staff is so friendly.
I recommend this restaurant to many friends and family. No one ever said a thing but praise
My pasta with mixed seafood excellent dinner salad fresh and crisp. Hope they soon have decaf coffee
It was a little tough to find (near Kmart and Petsmart) , but my family really enjoyed our meal. Great value.
very smart to offer groupon and other specials we use word of mouth for friends good decision
Really serve great Italian food for dinner....lunch good too!
A good meal at a reasonable price - especially since we brought home enough for a full other meal plus. Service was adequate but should have better since it was a Sunday evening and not at all busu. Will not be rushing back but will consider it a dependable place for a last minute meal.
Delicious food. Clean atmosphere ! Great staff really had a fun time! One of my favorite places for dinner
Food was delicious. Homemade pasta was outstanding. Food took a while to come out and with only 10 tables we were confused to why. Definitely recommend.
We made a reservation however it was the exception rather than 4th he rule. The venue was very small and seat yourself. There was only 1 server who was working too hard
Have been here several times. Service is always. This past Saturday food was definitely not as good. Seems to be inconsistant with certain dishes.
Great place. Great value. Fast and efficient, friendley service
great local place. pizzas are great as are the dinners. Excellent value. A real gem!
Wonderful authentic Italian food. Great dinner
Great food pizza place but the entrees are really good with big portions
We love Italian Street - fabulous red sauce (gravy) which flavors everything - ravioli, pizza, bolognese, meat balls - perfecto. Awesome very fresh house salad and superb homemade soups. We were all so full but took a cannoli for later which also was delicious. Cathy was our server and was completely efficient and professional.
Italian Street continues to be one of my top go to places at the Jersey shore. Good food, reasonable prices, fun- professional service and a comfortable atmosphere. Add to all that BYO- it’s a real winner.
Salmon tasted oily and very fishy (like it wasn’t fresh); pasta was mushy. Manager was not responsive when I complained—just asked if we wanted dessert
I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The owner was very friendly. I would recommend this restaurant for an excellent meal in a casual setting.
Excellent dining. Reserved table ready and waiting. Ordered Carbonara; very good. Waitress Kathy was very attentive and friendly.
We walked in and they had our table waiting for us. Food was excellent would definitely go back again!
We love this place!
What we didn’t appreciate this time out was the server wearing earbuds and being somewhat distracted while taking our order and serving us.
He also never checked back after providing our entrees. We had to seek him out for drink refills and our check.
The food is wonderful, the place is well kept.
We’ll certainly continue to patronize, but will seek out a better server.
Found this "gem" through a coupon in the local paper. Although they apparently do a tremendous pizza business (lots of pickups and takeouts) their dinner menu and offerings were very substantial. We ordered from both the standard menu and from the offered 'specials'.
The salad was fresh with good variety, the dinner made from fresh ingredients and very tasty. Having booked through Open Table the waitress was very attentive. The hostess, likewise. Our first Open Table had a reserved table waiting; not so our second, but they quickly accommodated us.
We returned on this visit having had a excellent first experience.
One criticism: the Shrimp Parm was not as expected...the shrimp were small and pre-breaded, not like the larger shrimp in the "Shrimp and Calamari Puttanesco"xas expected (which by the way, was wonderful). For $17.95, I would have expected large, fresh, hand-breaded shrimp. It's a dish we would not order again, but instead opt for the "Shrimp Scampi" which I assume will feature fresh large shrimp.
This restaurant will however most likely become one of our regular haunts.
A gem we found through a coupon offered in the local
Restaurant is in a strip mall. Food is excellent, family run. Service could be a little more attentive. Older waitress staff is spot on, younger wait staff needs some pointers on attentiveness and attention to details. Ex: Clearing dirty dishes in a timely fashion. The food has always been exceptional in taste, portion size and cost. A great local place BYOB. Full menu ranging from sandwiches, pizza to full dinners with appetizers. I would highly recommend.
My wife and I truly enjoy going to this restaurant for lunch and dinner. Service and food are excellent. Prices are reasonable. If you enjoy a glass of wine with your meal, bring your
We will be making reservations in the near future to have a great meal again.
Well located in a strip mall with a lot of free parking. Besides the regular menu there are lunch specials. Small establishment which is well kept. Service was outstanding. We will definitely
return (this is our third time eating at this restaurant).
Plenty of parking; it's in a strip mall. Small restaurant that does get crowded; reservations should be made. Good selection of food (BYOB). everyone enjoyed their meals.
We would definitely return.
