We are frequent Joeys patrons, and love and strongly recommend our local restaurant( Coquitlam!!) to anyone, unfortunately our most frequent visit at the burrard location was incredibly disappointing. The food and the ambiance were wonderful , but our service was terrible. Being a server my self, and coming in for Valentine’s Day, I know it would be busy and chaotic. Irregardless, a server is still expected to do their best, which my partner and I feel like our server did not. When we first entered the location we were not greeted by a host right away, but by a passing server who then showed us to our table. We then waited for roughly 10 minutes, until my partner had to flag down a server for service. Once our drinks were taken by the same server who sat us, we waiting a few more minutes for our actual server to come by and ask us for food. The food partially arrived, and when a server in the same section noticed us looking around, they notified our server to help us. At the end of the night, I felt as though our server did not deserve the tip, but her section partner did( he picked up our dishes and notified our server when we had isssues).
They didn’t seat us at a reserved table even though we said we had a reservation and showed the confirmation number page that was emailed to me. They seated us at a small cocktail table and there wasn’t very much room for our meals. All while a reserved booth behind us sat empty. Making me think that was suppose to be our reservation. Food was great and our server was nice.

Tonight was my husband Birthday, they warmed greeted and told him Happy Birthday from check in with the hostess to the waiter. The food was amazing, and the portions were quite large. Would highly recommend!
Joey’s was a great night out with food being very tasty. Service was good.

This restaurant has a very different feel to the one in bentel one on burrard. This location is definitely more date night and that worked better for us. I found the welcome staff less friendly at this location however our server however was great. The food was fantastic as always but the dessert menu isn't that great
It was good environment got my table right at the reservation time.
