The food was delicious. The services was outstanding. We didn't have to wait a long time for our foods.
FOOD WAS BLAND AT BEST - EATING AREA NO HEATERS AVAILABLE
Good food great service even took care of previous issue
Celebrated birthday, great good. Service was excellent!
This place was recommended by a friend and to be fair, I don't eat seafood. I got the filet mignon with mac & cheese and mash potatoes. The filet was over-salted and the sides were just okay. Nothing to rave home about and most definitely not worth the price. A friend of mine got the filet + lobster tail and he shared the same sentiment. There are better places out there and overwhelmingly overpriced.
Things management needs to be aware of - water glasses sat empty for most of the dinner - ordered a hot and cold sake with sushi appetizer - hot sake cane after sushi was 1/2 way gone - cold sake never made it - seafood platter didn’t have lemons or wet naps to clean hands - didn’t enjoy the seafood platter bc I prefer lemon on my seafood - also no tool to break open the lobster claw - tried with hands and cut myself - the delivery of items from different areas of the restaurant was disjointed and caused us to spend over 2 hours dining - expressed all the issues to the server and wasn’t even given a desert or any other type of remuneration for the lack of service / this was my 3rd visit - up until this visit - kings was becoming my favorite spot ....
Michael wonderful server and very knowledgeable about the menu. The miso Sea Bass amazing!! This is an amazing fish restaurant - we’ve needed this fir a few years in Silicon Valley!! Thank you Kings!
I'm so glad that we found this place as an option to going to The Fish Market (which is now closed on Blossom Hill Road). The food is 10x better than The Fish Market, and the service is always great! Can't go wrong with the Chilean Sea Bass, and portions are generous. I like the fact that there is no corkage fee. That's very rare for any restaurant here in the Bay Area. Before I forget, any of their desserts are incredible!
Experience was mediocre. Service was non existent and super slow. Food took forever and when it did, it was all lukewarm. Left right after entrees. Disappointed as we were looking forward to desserts since it was for a birthday celebration.
Good was delicious and service was exceptional!
Food is fresh. Price is ok.
Tony is one of the best server we have ever met.
Food was delicious. The restaurant was beautiful! It was spaced out well and I felt safe. Loved the ambiance and experience.
Great all around!
cute spot for a date
The only complaint I have is the wait time. We had a reservation and still waited over 10 minutes to be seated.
Our service was quite good. Everything came out pretty fast and we were able to taste every single dish at once. The food tasted really good. I really like the clams linguine; clams were really fresh. I also enjoyed the brussels sprout. It was to my liking. The cioppino was okay, wish there was more depth to the stew. Overall, I really enjoyed dinner.
First time here with my husband. Enjoyed the yellowtail carpaccio, sauteed n'awlins bbq shrimp appetizer which was recommended by our waiter, misoyaki seabass, swordfish and buttercake. Service was excellent. Heat lamp kept us warm. Will be back.
The seafood was fresh and ambiance nice.
Jonathan was such a great help with choosing the oysters. He did replace the fries that were hot, but we warned him about that because we go at least once a week. Fish and Chips are fab when the chips come right out of the fryer. Could you please bring in Cherrystone clams from the East Coast?
Everything was great
Great beer, cocktails and wine options. Seafood apps, soup and main courses are excellent. The service is absolutely fantastic. Heaters keep outdoor dining areas comfortable
The food was great as usual. It is really one of the best places in the Bay Area for seafood. That said, I do think the check-in process could use some refinements. It seems somewhat disorganized/chaotic. Also, if you arrive a few minutes earlier for your reservation, it would be good to seat your customers vs. making them wait, especially when there are plenty of tables available.
Our party of two started with cocktails - a dirty martini and a smoke on the water - with the yellowtail carpaccio. The cocktails were expertly prepared and the yellowfin is one of the best appetizers around. For entrees we both had the miso sea bass with mushrooms and bok choy. Amazing! We normally do not have desert, but we tried the golden cake topped by ice cream that had been recommended by a friend. It was definitely worth the calorie splurge! Our server, Juan Carlos, was friendly, professional, and fast. The manager offered up a table closer to a heater and welcomed us - a very nice touch. Outdoor dining at its finest.
The food was excellent and service was excellent as well (thank you Joseph). A good amount of outdoor seating available. Mixed drinks were very good too. Look forward to going back!
Wonderful server; accommodating and friendly. They know how to prepare fish and seafood very well.
Excellent restaurant. 2nd time visiting with an equally good experience. Portions are large and food and service are great. Very well done interior and exterior
Very nice restaurant. Good vibe.
Nice patio outdoor dining especially for covid time. Plastic screen between tables making us feel safe during pandemic. Food on pricy side but it's worth cos of the whole dining experience.
We’ve been here a handful of times since opening and each time the service/food just gets worse and worse. We understand the difficult times right now, however, it’s still not an excuse for forgetfulness, tardiness, taste and just plain not listening to the customer. Our waitress was very nice and sweet but she was just terrible, didn’t receive utensils or plates till after our appetizer showed up (we didn’t mind), ordered the wrong entree (we didn’t say anything), waited and waited for Ketchup, waited and waited for salt because our pasta tasted like pure water with no seasoning at all, waited and waited our entire meal for bread and finally received warm bread AFTER we were completely done with our meal because the bread we had to ask for the first time came out ice cold. They could have turned our table twice with the amount of time we waited for things that should have been brought with our food or before. Not sure what’s going on because our first experience here was fantastic and after that it’s just been very disappointing and just not worth it.
Drinks and good was on point. Very clean. Would definitely come back
The food was awesome! Excellent service! Will come back for sure
Really delicious food. Great size menu. Everything was really fresh (except the fires they were cold but, still really good). Crab cakes were amazing I just wish there were more cakes per order.
Excelent Service, great Food, outstanding experience worth repeating many times. Highly recommendable. Must go place in Santa Clara / San Jose area
Great service
My new favorite restaurant- the menu is insane - the oysters are the best in town - crab legs are fab - literally THE BEST clam chowder I’ve ever had - I want to try the entire menu
We were there on a week night and it was not very busy. With that said the service was very good as well as the food. They had plenty of propane heaters so the cool air was not a factor. We are already planning another trip there soon.
Friendly staff, showed up earlier than our reservation and got a table right away. Good oysters, the poke salad was very spicy. The fish and chips and clam chowder was delicious.
Wait time was ridiculously long despite not being super busy. My wife and I don't drink and usually finish our meals in about an hour, but we were here for almost 2 hours because of the super long wait between ordering and appetizer coming out then appetizer and entree. Servers were nice, food was good, but we are not planning on revisiting this restaurant in the future.
As a reminder the ambiance and all are affected by the fact they can only serve outdoors. If you eat there try to get seating up against the restaurant.
great food and excellent service, great time with friends and family and excellent food
Great food and service
