Preston was a great server, the old fashioned was not up to expectations, food was great as always and will be coming back, just disappointed with the old fashioned, was more of a spiked juice for $22.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at La Jolla Groves, and I must say, the highlight of our outing was our server, Ashley Taylor. Ashley approached our table with a warm smile that instantly made us feel welcome. Her genuine enthusiasm for the menu was palpable, as she eagerly shared her favorites and provided detailed recommendations tailored to our preferences. It's rare to encounter a server who knows the menu so intimately and radiates such passion for the dishes being served. Every interaction with her made us feel like valued guests rather than just another customer. It’s clear that she truly cares about her work and the people she serves. La Jolla Groves exceeded my expectations in every way. Between the stunning flavors, attentive service, and beautiful setting, this restaurant is a culinary gem! I can't wait to return and explore more of what they have to offer. It’s a definite must-visit for anyone in the area!

We were visiting Salt Lack City area and found this restaurant for a birthday celebration,. Our servers name was Ms. Ashley and she was simply excellent. She explained the menus and described the entrees perfectly. The restaurant was very clean and has a comfortable ambiance. The food /cuisine was top notch and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a classy experience .

We went for our anniversary. We have been before a couple of times. The service is always very good, the atmosphere is always nice. I didn't give the food 5 stars because my wife did not enjoy either of the meals that we got this time. She is a little picky and not the most adventurous with food and she tried something new. I really enjoyed the food each time we have been. The bread is great and they do a great job with the meats.

Do not get a steak. We ordered two wagyu filets, one medium rare, one medium well, both came out exactly the same and not cooked correctly. After about 30 minutes of trying to correct, they still could not cook a steak. They ended up offering a 50% discount on two $80 fillet mignon that were never received or eaten. They aren’t used to serving alcohol, so did not bring out the wine on time or correctly. Nice servers, but very bad experience. Not worth it.

Everything was wonderful. We took a large group out for a business dinner. Several members of the group had food allergies that the staff were very mindful of. Each dish was beautifully presented and delicious. Everyone loved the ambiance.

La Jolla, gross Aniun, Annie, Donnie, Katie, Chef david, and Chef Nick, I cannot tell you what an amazing experience that we have your restaurant. I love the story about Capri, that is our daughters middle name so I can’t wait to take her there someday. Don’t know how you guys did it but the lemon tree canopy was charming and romantic. We also loved your yellow napkins to match the lemons in the sky. I don’t know where you found those trees, but it made your restaurant so special. You are a local gem. We saw a lot of complaints about your prices, but you are offering a fine dining experience and the food showed it. The steak medallions were cooked perfect. A splash of Sherry in my mushroom soup really brought out the flavors. I WOULD RECOMMEND

Everything was so delicious I was so surprised with everything dish. The staff was so friendly and nice. Definitely going to go back and try the different dishes.

The service was excellent, as was the atmosphere. The food was good but not outstanding. My salmon was a bit dry. My wife had the lemon chicken, and it was fine. We had triple chocolate mousse and creme brulee for dessert. They were OK but nothing special. For the price ($120 for two, including tip) I expect better.
