La Petite Maison - Miami
Petit Maison is consistently delicious. But since it is so expensive, it is a special occasion place only.
Great birthday celebration ! Food service and ambiance spectacular. The wine selection is great too !
Always a great experience!
In Miami this is as far as you can get with the best service and food.
Great food and service!
Vengo spesso alla Petite Maison è sempre un’ ottima esperienza
Second time here and still as food as we remembered. Every single person in our group of 8 agreed- food is amazing. Service great also. Expensive, but worth it.
The food was amazing, the waiter was knowledgeable and quick and courteous.
My only problem. Was with the 2 ladies, hostesses at the entrance.
I arrived to my reservation 20 minutes late. I called the on my way to the restaurant to inform them that I would arrive late due to heavy traffic fro Bal Harbour to downtown Miami.
The hostess reminded me that she would need the table back from me in 75 minutes 3 times. I thought it was very rude to rush me in front of my guests. In the meantime there were a few more empty tables in the restaurant through out the night. At the end we ended up staying there till late, and her comments seemed like nothing more than an another brash marketing move, that screams we are very busy
The food, as always, was excellent. The service really left much to be desired.
Very good tasting! But remember that’s a traditional French cuisine
There is nothing special about the food. Ordered octopus salad, crab and lobster salad and couple more they are just salty and spicy. Duck in orange was not really chewy. I would not call this food French, does not taste anything like French, more like American - Mediterranean food, just small size.
I didn’t expect much, cause I didn’t know the restaurant, which I’ve chosen as I was nearby, and I had an excellent surprise, great food, good wine list and service, in a very nice ambience.
We loved everything about our meal and experience! Can’t wait to go back!
Absolutely fabulous. Our pallets come from restaurant saturated NYC and this restaurant hit it out of the park!! The rib eye was something out of this word. I would leave my vegan tribe just to have this rib eye. Every appetizer was a delight. Just an overall 10! Oh the cheesecake was something I have no words for! 100% recommend!
Muy buena comida
Excelente pescado 🐠
Un poco caro ...
Lo recomiendo ampliamente
Terrible service. 30 minute wait between courses.
We went for dinner on Christmas day. The food is fantastic. It was very busy, but the staff did a great job of bringing each course out quickly without making us feel rushed with the 2 hour allowance. Perhaps the wording could be a bit nicer when the restaurant calls to confirm the reservation, regarding the 2 hour window, and attire. I got the call as I'm on vacation sitting on a beach, and I'm told I cannot wear a bathing suit.... don't start off by insulting your guests, I'm coming for Christmas dinner, why in the world would I be wearing anything other than clothing appropriate for an upscale restaurant?? For 4 people, the meal with apps, entrees, desserts, and drinks, was a well spent $600. If the servers we had did not have the sense of humor they had, we would have left feeling it was stuffy and unwelcoming.
Great food and environment. Sky high prices. Spotty service - never offered any bread, asked twice for black napkin and never got it, had to ask for water fill repeatedly - not consistent with 18% mandatory tip and otherwise 5 star food
Good food. Good service. But very pricey.
Found the staff, from the reservationist to the waiter to be rude and condescending. A two hour cap on our table, a lengthy dissertation about how to dress (btw, I dine in fine restaurants all over the world... I know what to wear), the new ‘chef serves everything when ready’ trend (merely a mark of a mismanaged kitchen, a poorly trained chef and/or waitstaff that doesn’t know when to fire tickets) all made for a disappointing and frustrating evening. Half of us sat with empty plates waiting on dishes while being told to share. I left kindergarten a while ago, sharing toys is fine. Sharing escargot is not if you don’t like it but your guest does. Also got schooled about how all their restaurants have a time limit policy. Been to Zuma in NY, HK, and Miami. Never heard that at Zuma. All we did was keep an eye on our watches and then skip dessert. We hadn’t reached our time limit but no one cared to stay so we went home for dessert and coffee. This restaurant needs to rethink what a dining experience is about. Tomatoes, a lemon and knife for a DIY hors d’oeuvres? Next time I will stay home and make a salad.
Excellent food with fresh ingredients in a beautiful setting with outdoor seating. Excellent service.
Amazing experience. Food was total perfection!!
Very good food, "a la minute" service makes it good for dates and medium-sized groups. Extensive menu gives diners varied options. Prix fixe was also available for a good price. Wine list was very thorough, although some lower-priced options could help for prolonged lunches/dinners. Overall, a great experience.
La Petite Maison is elegant and excellent without being pretentious. The decor is beautiful and welcoming.
My guests and I had an outstanding meal, certainly one of the best we had in Miami. My daurade was exquisite and one of my guests said it was the best duck she's had. Service was attentive and friendly but also refined. The servers there have clearly been well trained. The sommelier helped us pick a wine that was reasonably priced ($80) yet was a delight. And desert was just wonderful. A pleasure I intend to repeat soon. Price was a little under $100 a person, which is very acceptable for the quality and experience. The portions were quite generous and if price is an issue, you can lower it by sharing more. BTW, all dishes are served such that you can share them; they even come with serving spoons.
Spectacular restaurant, yes pricey, but you will get a meal worthy of a high end Parisian bistro! Fabulous atmosphere, one of those places where flash is met with a roll of the eyes - class is everything here!
Great food highly recommended
Food was great as usual.
Exception and varied cuisine. Had a shoulder roast from an Iberico pig; a cut I've never had before. Other notable dishes were a fresh porcini salad and blue fin tartare. Terrific wine list, if a bit expensive. Beautiful room, great service. My only complaint would be the noise level and the acoustics. I found it hard to hear even the waiters. A small point though, we look forward to coming back.
Fabulous food though I wasn’t prepared for family style so be sure if you are dining with others your food preferences are similar
While this is a very expensive restaurant it was filled inside and out
We were so stuffed that we did not have room for dessert but the appetizers and main dishes were excellent
I would have liked to see a little more variety in vegetable sides a mushroom or spinach but that might be a personal preference
Wait staff was attentive and helpful in describing the menu options
I love this place and the niçoise salad is the best ever!!!
Excellent cuisine and service.pricey but worth it.
One of my favourite restaurants in Miami. Never go wting
Excellent service and food.
Love the new outdoor dining area. So much quieter outside. Dourade with fennel a favorite as is the gorgeous buratta.
We must have been here on an off night. A restaurant like this should not be serving dishes "as they are ready". That usually means your kitchen has no organization. That's exactly what happened to us. There were 15 minute gaps between dishes. One of my guests was done in 20 minutes and it took the other guests almost an hour to get all their food. It seemed like Amateur hour with the service. Two cocktails had to be sent back because the shaker had not been cleaned from the previous drinks that had been made before our martinis. The food portions were extremely small and very expensive. I don't care to pay a premium for good food and an amazing experience but this place really missed the mark.
It was excellent atmosphere outdoor seating , and attentive waiter, food quality amazing, thank you all for the hospitality, shall return again
One of the guest at our table was on a strict diet under doctor care and could only eat certain foods prepared simply. The restaurant had the ingredients but refused to accommodate. No other fine restaurant that I ever dined at would treat a customer in this way. They were unaccomodating and rude. We will never dine there again.
Best restaurant in Miami. There are some very reasonably priced items on the menu for those of you that are scared off when you see the whole chicken for $160. I had the baby chicken for $26, potatoes gratin for $8.50 & haricots for $7.50. My dinner mates enjoyed the duck & pasta, also very reasonable for fresh, excellently prepared cuisine . Delicious!! Love the fresh tomato, lemon, evoo & steak knife on the table for a very fresh complimentary starter. We shall return!! Over & over again!!
Great staff and service. The food was amazing!
