La Petite Maison - Miami Ratings und Bewertungen
We were visiting Miami from London. We often eat in La Petite Maison in London.
We have also eaten in the Nice restaurant.
My wife recognised Chef Raphael who came to our table.
The food and service were exceptional. The cheesecake was the best ever !!!!
We told Chef Raphael that we would be eating in the London restaurant later in the month and
he promised to look out for us.
We were in Miami for 2 weeks (14 meals) and La Petite Maison was definitely our No. 1 choice.
Our experience was exceptional. The Branzino special was exquisite and as good as any we have enjoyed in Europe! Service was excellent and the ambiance lovely.
However, given the high cost of the fish - especially as a lunch item - it would be nice to have the chef include a salad or vegetable ongoing.
Kudos on this lovely downtown restaurant.
Amazing food. Fabulous service. Very expensive so be prepared. But must say, it was the best meal we had in a restaurant in Miami. The tagliatelle bolognese was so light and perfectly prepared.
Extraordinario restaurante. Comida fuera de serie. Servicio impecable del mesero IVAN, alegría en la atención, excelentes recomendaciones. El mejor Robadallo ( Turbot), que puede uno degustar de este lado del mundo. Para repetir siempre. !!!!!
Food is good but not spectacular. Service is better than most of restaurants in Miami but wine list is ridiculous expensive, abusive 4x wine store price and they don’t accept BYOB. Never more until they change their policy on wine!
We've dined at La Petite Maision several times in the past in Miami, back in May 2017, and defintiely weren't going to miss the opportunity to dine several more times when we were back for a one week trip over the new year. Our dinner on new year's eve was absolutely electric. The ambiance, which is normally perfect, was made even better with the guest appearance of the Troubadours, which is the music group that I initially had the pleasure of hearing when I was living in the south of France and dining at the original La Petite Maison there. Dinner was so good on new year's eve that we decided to go back the following day and the day after that.
The food quality is impeccable and I have yet to have a dish not worthy of the price or the menu. Everything is perfectly executed that comes out of that kitchen, and the bar makes the best drinks I've had this side of the world. My personal favorites are the lavender sours, bourbon sours and the French 75.
Service is always attentive and the front of house staff are very friendly and pleasant. One never gets the feel that the place is pretentious and I have always felt comfortable and welcomed when dining there.
If you haven't tried this place yet, do so with full confidence knowing that you will have a very memorable meal.
On a side note, the manager, Richard, is very personable and does a great job managing the place. He's probably one of the most attentive and competent managers I've seen in the business. And the execution of the food and service reflect that.
For the price it was overrated and all the servers keep pushing you to go for more expensive items also will switch your wine selection to sell you something at higher cost, just be careful with them.
The food was outstanding, but the service was awful. We ordered the appetizers and main course and we didn’t see any food until 45 minutes after. And between the appetizers and the main course we waited for another 40 minutes, it wasn’t until i talked to 2 maitres that we finally got the main course.
Basically there was no food! We sat down 30 minutes after our reservation time and the waiter said that the only thing they had on the menu was meat! They had no more fish, no more pasta, no more risotto, no more chicken! Basically we had the appetizer and left because there was no food. The family just beside us sat down and was told that they had to order in five minutes because the kitchen would close and they had a reservation.! So I would never go back there.
