Best birthday ever! I loved celebrating it at La Petite Maison.
Delicioso! Hermoso! Excelente atención! Decoración espectacular !!!
The food is good and spices nicely enhance flavor. They are definitely not spicy. The lamb cutlets were a good value, unlike most items on the menu, and had no lamb taste. They were fabulous. The Escargot is the best I've ever had. Every special is special because it's astronomically priced. Check the price before ordering. A fish special could cost you almost $300.00. The 18% tip is added with no mention by the waitstaff....a turnoff for me. It's also not highlighted on the final bill, but a line entitled "Tip" is there. You'll also be reminided that your stay is limited to two hours. Overall it's O.K., and the food is worth a try.
Great Food, Ambiance and Friendly staff
A very high standard of cuisine, from Nice with a strong italian influence.
It's pretentious and expensive. Food was good but not spectacular. Won't be repeating. Our experience: the young hostess, as soon as we walked on the door, told us this was "business casual" restaurant and hence our sneakers were not acceptable but for this time only she'd let it pass. No matter that they were $500 sneakers. Or that we were two 50 year old tech investors, not some loud teenagers in tank tops. Or that we were in steamy Miami and not in stuffy Wall Street. So not the most auspicious welcome to a $300 weekday lunch. Food was good but by then we just wanted to leave. No client of an expensive restaurant wants that attitude walking in the door. It was so 1980s it just seemed ridiculous. So a young hostess making $15/hour spoiled a $300 lunch and what could be a good all around Miami French restaurant.
I really love this place. Definitely recommended it.
A bit too crowded, too many tables too close to each other. Waiters and customers kept bumping into my chair. Food was great, the staff very polite. I was a bit disappointed with the wine. I ordered a glass, and although it was really good, the glass seemed more like a tasting than an actual glass. Other than that, I liked it.
Wonderful and food was amazing.. Service was also super!!! Kudos
The food, service, and ambiance were absolutely amazing. I went with my three young children for Mother’s Day. Everyone was very patient and attentive.
We recently returned from France and wanted to enjoy dining at a French restaurant. We were celebrating our anniversary and requested a special table, but we were seated in front of the open kitchen which was very noisy. My husband asked for the wine list and as he was reviewing the wines, 4 servers asked in a small period of time whether he needed help or if he made a decision. He didn’t need help which he told the first person, we had not yet reviewed the menu, so we were in no hurry to race through the wine list to make a swift decision. We ordered escargot as an appetizer and we had to ask for bread after it was served. I never had to ask for bread in a fine restaurant ... Then our endive salad was served and they didn’t bother to remove our soiled plates from the escargot. I had to ask one of the servers for clean plates. Really? We ordered two vegetables to accompany our very expensive lamb chops, but they forgot to bring us the second vegetable. Fortunately, we were not charged. Overall, Le Petite Maison was a big disappointment. We were hoping that it would become a neighborhood gem. This was our fourth visit to the restaurant and we keep hoping they will do something to redeem themselves. It didn’t happen.
Pleasant, relaxed, friendly atmosphere, varied menu, excellent wine list! The restaurant consistently excels in the quality of the food!
we LOVE the petite maison, but this last time , the food was not as usual....no burrata, the fish had a bad presentation, and the risoto was heavy.
the plates were taking forever to come, but the waiter was very polite and kind.
I just would like the restaurant to keep it's standards.....
Tables too close too each other. The service was poor. The food was OK but exceedingly expensive for the price. The site is one of “to see and be seen”. It won’t last
What a disappointment. The chef used way too many flavors and the food is very flavorful as a nice way to put it. Too many sauces OVERKILL The prices are extremely high for what you get so there’s no value
Butthe icing on the cake for such a fine restaurant is the girl who delivered the bread actually put it on the table not once but twice, she did not think to get another bread plate she actually laid the bread on the table The airlines have better service and they don’t do that
One more thing don’t believe in their dress code requirements because people were in T-shirts and tennis shoes
This was our third visit. I think this is the best restaurant I have been able to find in Miami. The food and service are stellar. My only complaint would be we asked the sommelier to pair wines with our two course, and he merely offered what was available by the glass off the menu. That's not pairing. Everything else was wonderful.
Great place over all. Little pricey, I would understand if it were right on the water or there were amazing city views but there’s nothing special about the location. The food is probably the best in brickell.
Great experience! The food was great, the service was amazing and the ambiance was fantastic
Really good food!
Probably best food in Miami. A little noisy place
Probably the best French restaurant in Miami. Food is excellent and has always quality food. Recommend the Branzino
Muy agradable el lugar , la comida excepcional , puede mejorar un poco el servicio
Worst value for money in town. They clame to be french food experts. This is all the contrary. Fish (turbot) overcooked, cornish with way too much seasonning etc...
Do not ask for ice water, they will look at you badly.
Waiter suggests the champagne glass of the day without mentioning outrageous price: 67$ per glass.
One of those "hard to afford if you have to ask the price," but outstanding at every level and, more seriously, worth a visit if you like food (even if you give up a night out the following week).
Fabulous lunch from start to finish. Beautiful room, excellent service and outstanding cuisine reminiscent of our trips to Provence!
Everything is great. Really. But if you don’t order the POMMES DE TERRE GRATINÉES with your dinner, you failed. EXCELLENT! Merci beaucoup!
Excellent food. Service is good at lunch, awful at dinner.
The whole Branzino which my husband & I shared was excellent but extremely expensive!! Wines were also pricey. Service was very good.
AMAZING! I love this restaurant in London and it is just as wonderful in Miami!
Amazing food and experience!
Excellent bartender! Described a basil martini I wanted and it was spot on. Wonderful atmosphere and food. A definite must try when in Miami.
When this restaurant first opened it was truly extraordinary. No detail was overlooked. Unfortunately That is no longer the case. It is still a very good restaurant ( which it should be given the price ) but it is no longer outstanding
simply wonderful. very lovely room. great service. excellent food. served beautifully.. lovely evening..
Every dish was excellent. Service was top notch. Best in Miami.
Excellent food and service! Great wine selection, comfortable and friendly atmosphere!
Everything started off in a normal fashion. Our server was courteous and knowledgeable about a menu. Somewhere between our order was placed and prepared we lost our waiter who was replaced by another without any explanation whatsoever. When we inquired about his disappearance we were told that his section was shifted and our table wasn’t part of it. Basically, a somewhat pretentious place with decent food and service that needs to be upheld accordingly .
