It was an amazing dinner! I’m picky with my Italian food, but the spaghetti and meatballs were the best I’ve had since moving here almost 5 years ago.
This was my second time eating at Labriola. I usually don't like to go to the same restaurants multiple times but after having the garlic knots the first time I had to come back. Labriola has a decent sized menu filled with tasty dishes as well as a nice selection of wine and cocktails. Labriola is now my "go- to" when I am in the mood for Italian food.
If you’re looking for Italian similar to Olive Garden this is your spot. Food was fine. Great service.
The food and wine was great! Our server was very friendly and the service was quick!
Garlic knots are scrumptious- like nothing you’ve ever tasted before. Pizza was fantastic. Toppings were tasty and fresh, plenty of cheese, real tomato chunks and a crunchy crust
Some of the best food I’ve ever had. The deep dish pizza was incredible and the goat cheese and fried zucchini appetizers were out of this world!
LOVE the food, location & HAPPY HOUR! The only snag is we decided to take advantage of an unusually nice afternoon & sit outside - took a while to snag the server's attention. Once this was done, tho, everything was PERFECT. Love Labriola!!
Incredible staff, adorable ambiance and phenomenal food
As always great food and terrific service
Grosse Portionen, gute italienische Küche
Had a great experience first time we went and took our daughter back only to find out the menu was limited due to a private party. She is a pasta lover, but all that was offered that night was pizza and salads. We don’t get to the city often with her, so we were disappointed. Wish we would have know that before we made our plans.
Best deep dish pizza in Chicago. Great staff and atmosphere too.
Took a long time for waiter to take our order and even longer to get our drinks. Then he brought a different bottle of wine that we ordered and when we asked him about it, he said that they no longer had the wine we wanted, hut that he'd charge the same amount. Then they ran out of garlic knots, but never told us, so again, we had to bring it to our waiter's attention. When we got the check, we noticed that he charged us for the more expensive wine, so we had to tell him about that...just not good overall!
We had a very gracious welcome by the manager and were seated in a good spot. It was quite noisy.
The calamari were as good as I have ever had, the bread, was excellent, the wine very nice and the pasta good. Our server was only fair, and not particularly friendly or efficient. However, we enjoyed our meal and the occasion.
We ate dinner at Labriola on Friday night. We ordered the garlic knots appetizer. They were wonderful. My husband ordered the filet sliders and I ordered the lasagna. We shared both and enjoyed every bite. Unfortunately, it was too much for us to finish.
While sitting at the table on Friday night, we saw the deep dish pizzas being brought out from the kitchen. They looked so good that we decided to return for lunch on Saturday. The pepperoni and mushroom pizza did not disappoint. Again, it was too much for us to finish.
I was so impressed with Labriola that I returned for Sunday brunch on my own.
Great place to eat and conveniently off Michigan Ave. Very consistent, good service. I have been there a number of times with my family. My last visit was for business and we ate outside. Noisy, yes also but energetic. If I'm in Chicago for a few days, I'll definitely come back!
Ordered both a deep dish Danny’s and Supreme thin
Good food, but not great portions. Friendly staff. Not cheap but acceptable pricing.
Very good dining experience! Thoroughly enjoyed it!
This place was amazing. From the service to the quality of the food. I had the best pizza i have ever had. It was a deep dish with a crispy crust. We also ordered some side dishes. The meatballs a d the ravoli nachos were so good. This is on my list of must dine places next time i am in Chicago
Delicious food- always recommend the garlic knots. Loud but delicious
I asked around and Labriola was recommended to me. I'm glad I listened. I've been to Chicago quite a few times and I always try to find a new place to have pizza. Hands down, this place had the best deep dish pizza I've ever had in Chicago. We had it with basil and had a nice taste. The crust was even light. Since the pizza took about 45 minutes to cook, we ordered the garlic knots and those were delicious. It's too bad no one told us that they also give you a nice proportion of bread with olive oil. All told, the bill was not bad for the three of us. The food was worth the visit. The waiter was very attentive and checked up on us every now and then. I would definitely go back there again and even try something different.
Cristian was amazing food was delish!
Very good deep dish and flatbread pizza! Not a quiet restaurant but relaxed atmosphere. Recommended by a shoreline tour guide native!
The restaurant was recommended to us by a friend and we were not disappointed. We came for the pizza and found it to be excellent. The wait staff and host were attentive. But the food quality stood out.
Outstanding food! Somewhat noisy but host found a less noisy spot.
The deep dish pizza is outstanding!
Absolutely! It was Mother's Day and we left after theatre reservations till the last minute and didn't have a problem getting seated at 5:00 pm. The food was delicious. The portions were perfect, not too large and not too small. THE best medley of veggies, I have ever eaten. Tiramisu is excellent, and the coffee strong and just right. Jose was sweet and personable. I have never had a bad experience at Labriole.
Amazing restaurant for small or big parties! I’m sure I will come back!
Very big portions. Great food great service
Amazing pizza, pasta and salads! Service was lightening fast and the staff was so friendly! We were in from out of town, and we were able to get a table quickly!! For sure...we will be back on our next Chicago visit!
Great Paloma cocktail at the bar before sharing a Caesar salad (portion is the easily shareable for two), a nicely cooked braesola with one of the best polenta and topped off by a signature salsiccia pizza. We were too full for a party of two to take down the large piece of chocolate cake that is risotto and nutella based. We’ll have to come back for the deep dish pizza another time. The service was great and friendly. The pace of food delivery can be too quick so advise your server on when you want your food. Best bet is to order one course at a time as the food staff is very efficient and can’t help themselves. Adequate selection of wine and not too pricey. Prices are reasonable overall too.
Staff was very accommodating as our table reservation size had increased; they moved us to a bigger table quickly. Our table loved the Thin crust pizza. Toasted ravioli nachos was a delicious take on 2 favorites. We had to ask for our water to be refilled but overall the service was great.
First time coming here after reading some reviews and deciding to try something new. Definitely one of the best deep dishes in Chicago but the menu is full of other great stuff. service was good and friendly. The wine list was surprisingly good as well. But back to the deep dish. Great crispy shelled crust with a nice amount of caramelization around the edges. Really high quality tomatoes which my nieces could not stop eating. Great ingredients; Italian sausage, bacon, pepperoni, and mushrooms that we had on our custom pie had really great flavor even by themselves. The ratio of cheese and crust and tomato was also perfect. Might be my new favorite.
Good selection, good food and nice location.
Great place with fun atmosphere and delicious food! But be careful - 14” deep dish pizza is so huge! We would definitely come back.
We were given a beautiful table overlooking the outdoors, we felt no noise . Food was excellent and our server Jessica was lovely .
Best pizza in Chicago hands down!
We were celebrating a work memorial, and George, the manager, made it a special evening! Thank you!
And of course the deep dish pizza was the best, and we also enjoyed the salad.
