Great service...great food!
Amazing deep dish pizza
Everything exceeded expectations
Our waiter was very good, attentive --- excellent service and good with details
Great service. Seated in a booth: cozy but a little dark, we had to ask for the candle on the table to be lit. Excellent bread to start the dinner. The beet salad was the best we ever had - delicious, thank you. Deep dish pizza was excellent, though a bit too cheesy for us. Highly recommend.
We were a party of 4 and wanted to try a few different dishes Labriola has to offer. First off, our server was AWESOME and the service was great!
We started with an order of meatballs and fried calamari. Both were very good. We ordered lasagna and a deep dish pizza. The lasagna was supposed to come out after appetizers and before the pizza. Our appetizers came out three times (obviously we did not accept two) and then the lasagna came out before the pizza which came out shortly after...needless to say we had a lot of food on the table.
The deep dish pizza: We all felt it was way too doughy and cheesy and needed a fork and knife to eat it. We've had one or two really good deep dish pizzas in Chicago...this did not make our list.
The lasagna: Again too much cheese, needed more sauce and more flavor, it was very basic.
We will come back again to try some other things on the menu. We really liked the location, ambiance and service.
Both my husband and I had pizza - he the deep dish and me a thin crust. Both were excellent. We arrived in time for happy hour which gave us $5 pinot noires that were decent. Service was not the best, as our server was not really attentive and there were delays in getting us our second drink. The restaurant made good on this situation for us, by giving us a very reasonable discount on dinner.
The food was amazing large servings on small plates. Pizza was very good
Nice place tucked in off of Michigan Ave appointed with white subway tile and wood booths. Outdoor seating is available. Got the Caesar Salad and a deep-dish pie. Both were very good. Takes a while for the pizza to bake, but that's to be expected. The bus people were definitely on point as I think I might have drowned if given any more water. Definitely worth a try considering they take reservations and Chicago is a hard town to just walk into a restaurant. Especially in this area of the city.
Great food and service.
Great food and cocktails. Jose, our waiter, was excellent!
We went at 5:30pm on a Sunday and the noise level was pretty high but as always, Labriola has the best deep dish pizza in Chicago!
REALLY REALLY great veggie deep dish pizza and good wine list. Fast and friendly, this was a FIND!
Our family looks forward to eating at Labriola’s every Labor Day weekend (since 2014). We truly look forward to their deep dish pizza, which is amazing!! Their servers are very attentive and friendly!! We look forward to returning again next year.
The staff is welcoming, smiling and efficient. The problem is that the food is just banal. The big problem is and that the local is extremely noisy. We must scream to be heard by his neighbor ! But I understand that this place is very popular considering the good quality / price ratio. It’s the place for a group of young people
We really enjoyed this place. Great food and service staff were very attentive. We highly recommend it
Great food and great atmosphere even considering the tourist traffic and proximity of Michigan Ave. As a local this is one of our go-to’s for a great dinner. My only issue is that this place can be a tad expensive considering the basic (but excellent) menu and I wish it was about 15% cheaper.
In Chicago for the weekend - great deep dish pizza and decent wine list.
Fantastic experience and the food is flat-out the best! Took my daughter for a father-daughter vacation and the first place we stopped was Labriola. Great food, atmosphere and service is top notch! Jose our server and the other gentlemen were phenomenal and made our experience memorable. We'll be back. In fact a new tradition for us!
Impeccable service, fun atmosphere, fantastic food with many menu choices. Great happy hour!
A little pricey but excellent product. Service, as always was superior.
This place was great! It’s very loud but great food booze and service!
Great food, amazing pizza!
Basic Italian, good not fancy.
Our experience was wonderful. Our waiter (Andrea) was able to give us great recommendations. We had the ravioli nachos! Awesome! Then we had deep dish pizza, it wasn’t a fast lunch because deep dish pizza takes time, but man is it worth the wait! We had fresh burrata and basil on it! Yum! So I understand there was low reviews before, but our experience was perfect!
Rushed. Rushed. Rushed. Offered desert menu literally 2 mouthfuls into entree.
Garlic knots to start were nice. Kids bolognese was good but our main was bland pasta with over booked beef.
I ordered a salad and specifically said I was ALLERGIC to beans and the salad came with beans. Then it was made again and still had beans in it. The waiter did not apologize or care that The salad was wrong, and said he told the kitchen no beans and it was their fault. I spoke with the manager and she said that she was in the kitchen when they were making it a second time, and when I told her it still had beans, she replied they did make a whole new salad. Didn’t even care that I said I was allergic to beans. I thought the service was awful, they did nothing to make the dinner right, and I sat there and ate nothing too scared I would have to go to the hospital if there was beans in another salad or another food. Lastly, we were charged for the salad that they took back and I never ate. This was the worst service I have ever received regarding an allergy, and did not take it serious as a restaurant. I will never dine there again.
Good time with family, friends. The deep dish pizza was delicious and everything else was decent. The service was very good for the most part except for one of the bus boys throwing out half a deep dish that I was very much looking forward to taking home. But they did comp the whole pizza which was very nice.
Good food - ordered pasta and missed not having bread basket
We visited the restaurant a couple months ago and were really pleased with the delicious pan pizza and pasta dish. However this time something was different. It was way too much sauce on the pizza and the crust was very doughy. The Bolognese sauce on the pasta did not have enough flavor or spice. They were supposed to be pancetta and we sig they were supposed to be pancetta and we saw none. To make matters worst, the service was very lacking and our waiter did not bring us water the entire time and did not check back with us.
Overall, food was good. It was nice to sit on the patio, but I think there are better restaurants to visit in Chicago.
As visitors to Chicago who stayed in a hotel, we wished we would have known joe big your portions are. Sadly we felt like we wasted very good food by not being able to box it up to take back.
Lots of overpriced of food in area, but this restaurant is the exception, surprising with it being right off Michigan. Nice portions and homey, not pretentious.
Great food. Loved sitting outside!! Relaxing!!
Enjoyed the food, but the service was poor. Didn’t know which pizza was which when it was brought to table (hard to tell in a deep dish) and getting drinks is easier in the desert.
Great deep dish!
Food was excellent. We have been away from Chicago for too long and missed the pizza
Absolutely delicious food and excellent staff. We stopped there twice during a short visit- it was that good.
It was amazing!!! Highly recommend and will definitely come back!
Josue the server was Excellent. The place was busy but he took the necessary time for us and made us feel like welcome guests. His recommendation for the entree was appreciated. The food was excellent. Prices were reasonable.
