My son and I had a wonderful meal. We tried several of the small plates. The muhammara (with roasted red peppers and finely chopped walnuts) was especially tasty. His salmon main course was also excellent. We enjoyed a Turkish wine for the first time -- a very light-bodied but finely flavored red wine. The server was friendly and efficient. Highly recommended!
This is a lovely new restaurant serving Turkish and Mediterranean food. We enjoyed the minty mushrooms and a butternut squash and brussel sprouts dish.
For the entree we shared lamb and eggplant dishes.
The service was impeccable! Highly recommend LaLe.
This restaurant is a gem! Food is creative, authentic and outstanding.
Cozy and romantic setting in SF's Inner Sunset District offerinf excellent Turkish & Mediterrean favorites like Tabouli, roasted eggplant/red pepper salad, Fattoush, braised chicken, etc.
This was a great food experience. Enjoyed the apps: pita bread hummus watermelon salad potatoes (needed to be hotter, but still ate everything on the plate late) all were excellent, nothing left about on the plate.
The ambiance was not rated 5 stars because of the Covid ventilation requirements…sparse seating and on the cool side.
We would have eaten outside, but they don’t have heating lamps.
Our server was excellent and helpful. My husband and I are looking forward to returning for dinner as well as for brunch.
Overall, I give it 4+++ and will bring friends next time.
We went here for dinner on a recommendation from friends who go here regularly for brunch. On this Wednesday night the restaurant was pretty empty of patrons, but the take out orders were steady. We were nervous because the restaurants we'd passed along the way to get here were bustling. Our friend has never steered us wrong though, so we were really glad we stayed. The service was gracious and attentive. The environment was comfortable and well cared for, and the food was simply outstanding. My son's wrap was hearty and flavorful. My husband's fattoush salad was the best he's ever had. We all loved the hummus and halloumi starters. And my lamb shank was incredibly tender and scrumptious. It was a fabulous dinner and evening.
Awesome and delicious meal with wonderful service from the friendly staff- thank you!
The service was perfect, and the flatbread and main courses were delicious
Sat outside with two toddlers. Fantastic food and the kids loved watching the Muni train pass by.
Amazing food. Albeit a little wait time. Clean and socially distant seating. Personable service.
Great food, great service!
LaLe Mediterranean is a really nice restaurant - amazing food with great service!
Great food and service. Everything was delicious both times we went there.
We love this place. This is our 4th time. Always wonderful food and service! Will black soon:)
From light bites to entrees, this is reasonably priced American & Turkish comfort food offering something for all (kids included). Weekend brunches draw long lines, but diners with or without reservations will enjoy the attractive & relaxed atmosphere, very friendly service, and delicious food--inckuding meats, seafood, and lots of veggies options.
Very tasty food and friendly service. I particularly liked the lentil soup.
Best Mediterranean food we’ve had in San Francisco!
What a wonderful restaurant! We stumbled upon it while visiting the Sunset District. The service was attentive, and the decor was sleek and clean. The food was amazing...I’d recommend the appetizer sampler. The red pepper hummus was the best I’ve ever had. It was evident a lot of work was put into the food to create such a depth of flavors. The portions were more than generous as well.
Terrible food , restaurant was empty so probably that’s why. But the food didn’t look or taste fresh at all.
We found a little gem in our neighborhood. We’ve passed by many times and decided to try it. What we have been missing is ridiculous!!! We’ll be back again and again.
We loved the place. Really tasty authentic food. Very nice atmosphere and excellent personable service. We will be back soon
The service was slow, but the food was great and it's a beautiful space.
Had a terrific brunch here and went back for dinner with friends. We loved it and will make this a regular part of the rotation for sure!
We had the cold meze platter which was disappointing. My husband has the chicken wrap which was good. Service was excellent. Ambience was nice. Will most likely go back but will not order the meze platter.
Maybe fine for lunch but dinner left a lot to be desired. Food was cold and arrived at different times. Service was spotty even though there weren’t many people eating.
Wonderful all around!
Lovely food and friendly staff
I used to live in Turkey and am very familiar with the cuisine. The food was okay but I wish there had been some fish other than prawns, which in San Francisco are always frozen, never fresh, and therefore don't taste that good. I had a chicken dish which was very good. However, there is so much good Turkish music and I was very, very disappointed to hear Dean Martin singing "That's Amore". Even though this restaurant has been open for around two years, I got the feeling that the staff didn't have its act together. For instance, the appetizers and entrees were brought together and the waitress more or less apologized saying the kitchen must have been busy yet, at the time, there were only about six people in the restaurant.
Very good value for money. Nightmare to find parking in the area on a Friday night. The food was decent , ambience and place was really good.
La Le was an unexpected find for us, as I wanted a restaurant near to soccer fields near the beach. It isn’t-it’s in the inner sunset, and there were virtually no customers there, which gave us pause. But it turned out great for our table of 8, including 3 kids. The sampler plate of appetizers was great ( the waiter said that’s what he would order for his mother if she came), as were the lamb chops, stuffed eggplant, and a vegetarian plate. The prices were very reasonable, and the waiter was very attentive and helpful. Overall, all of us thought it was very good.
I appreciated the food selection. I had the grilled chicken, which was both tasty and filling. The selection of Mediterranean dishes makes my mouth water.
We always find Lale completely satisfying and delicious. Whether small plates or large, and whether brunch/lunch (daily) or dinner (thu-sun only), everything is fresh, hot, & made to order--and the service couldn't be more hospitable. We have introduced friends to Lale who have become regulars.
Delicious food and quick attentive service for a large group!
