Lexington Smokehouse & Bar

They had just opened for 30 mins and had already run out of beef brisket.
Super disappointing. Don't plan a visit unless you're there at opening hours 5 pm sharp.

Lexington staff are fantastic, they take the time to understand your allergies and are careful to ensure there is no cross contamination. I have a lot of allergies therefore I appreciate the care they take, it makes for a stress free experience. The Food is consistently great. Highly reconmend. Good value.

Food was dry and overcooked, you could tell it had been standing around under a heat lamp. Took 10 minutes for server to offer us a drink.

The atmosphere at Lexington is great, very ambient and enjoyable. The food is out of this world! The fork and knife chicken is a must! Also, the cocktails are original and tasty.

Casual, relaxed atmosphere. Quiet, non-obtrusive staff.
Then comes the smooth cocktails.
Soon after, the flavourful appetizers, followed by the full-flavoured level 11 BBQ main courses.
It’s a great evening out. Fine dining feel but no tie required.

Always a consistent level of service and food quality. The service has always been above and beyond.

SO GOOD. One of the best restaurants I've ever been to in Ottawa (been here my whole 38 year life). Great service, atmosphere..... AND AMAZING FOOD!!! (at a decent price too, especially considering the quality/portion sizes). The custom cocktails are a nice touch as well. 10/10 100/100 would highly recommend this place.

The food was delicious, the server was attentive but unobtrusive. We had the platters and everything was hot, fresh and delicious. The cauliflower bombs were excellent and the burnt tips were yummy. The tables were well spaced for social distancing.

The brussel sprout side was the show piece of our meal. The meat was incredibly well smoked & cooked. We ordered 2 platters with various sides & meats. The fries were uniquely cut and well cooked. The chili tasted like a chili which is not what we expected but it was delicious. The mac and cheese was slightly disappointing without a punchey tasting cheese. Very happy overall to celebrate my boyfriend's birthday!

Absolutely delicious restaurant. I went with a group of 4- 3 of us got the bro’s it stack and 1 of us got the burger. All of us were more than satisfied with our meals and experience. We will be returning for sure hungry for more !

The food was pretty good. The restaurant was not clean (the tables were very sticky and the floor had not even been swept).

First time back at Lexington since the Covid wackiness. While they said they were rebuilding the menu, there was plenty on it. Drinks, starters (the stuffed mushrooms are fantastic) and mains are delicious and the mains are VERY generous portions. Some of the fork and knife chicken went home with the diners, but not for lack of appetite. The on-street patio still manages to be a pleasant dining space, and you don’t feel as if traffic is whizzing past you at dangerous speed or distance.

A welcome return to one of my favorite Ottawa destinations .

Some of the best bbq food I have ever eaten. Try the burnt ends for your starter.

Ordered ribs. They were tough and dried out. Macaroni and cheese tasted like a Kraft package. Very disappointed.

Ribs were inedibly dry. Fries were chewy. Corn was over seasoned and over done. And server didn’t much care.

We went last Saturday night. We were a table of 6. Four out of 6 had the Knife and Fork chicken. They loved it and would love to eat it again. I have food allergies but I can be easily accommodated there which is such a bonus for me. I had hand held brisket sandwich with gluten free bun. Since they smoke their own meat and it is delicious. I also had the blackened brussel sprouts. They were so good I would go there just for this dish! We have been to the Lexington multiple times and will continue to go there and suggest it to friends and family. Yum

Great food good service cant say anything bad about Lexington smokehouse ,I am a big eater and could not finish my meal .Cant wait to go back

Lexington has one of the est burgers I've ever had in my life. Whenever I come here, it's a wrestling match between me and my insatiable burger desires to have something different. I usually lose. When I don't lose the fork and knife chicken is whispering sweet nothings in my ear.

They also have a great selection of beer on tap and although I have yet to try the cocktails they are tempting.

Oh, that fork and knife chicken! Even good the next day at home.

Always enjoy Lexington for the great food. This time, we tried the cauliflower bomb appetizer, and that was quickly added into the "gonna get this every time" list.
