LOLA Rosé of Pinot Noir is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes grown on our younger vines in Mendocino and Sonoma Coast. The grapes were picked slightly under-ripe and lightly crushed by foot, then pressed off the skins after 8 hours. We do add a small amount of skins and stems to the press juice during fermentation which adds a bit more vibrancy and structure to the finished wine. The 2019 LOLA Rose of Pinot Noir is vibrant, with a bright pink color and aromas of cherry and guava. Its bright acidity and crispness on the palate make it a perfect wine for warm summer days, and a wonderful pairing to vegetables and seafood. 485 cases produced

2018 LOLA Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is pale gold in color with flavors of tropical fruits and citrus, complimented by delicate floral aromas and a bright, crisp mouth-feel. A portion of this wine is aged in older oak going through a secondary malolactic fermentation, in an effort provide a caramelized richness to the aromatics and finish. 2150 cases produced.

LOLA California Pinot Noir is meant to showcase a true, pure expression of Northern California Pinot Noir. It is made from grapes grown on our vineyards in Mendocino, Russian River Valley and Monterey, with each region lending unique elements to the structure and aromatics of the finished wine. The 2018 vintage was exceptional across the board for Pinot Noir grown in Northern California! The super long mild growing season allowed us to make a wine with a deep, garnet color and aromas of black cherry, blue fruits and cola overlaying a beautiful fresh mouth-feel that is balanced with bright crisp acidity. This is our best effort to date in our attempt to make great quality, pure Pinot Noir at an exceptional value!

Our Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is a blend of Dijon clones 115, 777, as well as a suitcase clone from Vosne Romaneé, France, brought back by our winemaker in 2005; all of which are planted at our Bloomfield Road Vineyard in the Russian River Valley AVA. This wine is deep garnet in color with aromas of wild strawberry, cherry, red currants and forest floor, accented by notes of dried tea, rose petals, cedar and vanilla bean. On the palate, the wine's bright acidity and supple texture are accompanied by delicate tannins and a long, lingering finish. 1976 cases produced

Our 10th Anniversary LOLA Pinot Noir Reserve is an effort to reintroduce the original wine style with which LOLA was found in 2008... native yeast fermented, neutral oak aged and whole cluster fermentation meant to showcase a pure and natural expression of Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. The wine shows beautiful strawberry and cherry aromas combined with a layered, textural mouth-feel along with bright acidity and firm natural tannins that give it the backbone for many years of age-ability. Unfined and unfiltered, 250 cases porduced

Our Dry Riesling is crisp and dry with beautiful ripe tropical fruit notes and hints of citrus, melon and aromatic jasmine. The 2018 vintage saw a long, dry and somewhat warm growing season in Monterey County, allowing the Riesling to fully mature late in the season. This allowed the grapes to develop complex and balanced flavors and aromas while still showcasing bright acidity. Being fermented with 30% of the skins adds multiple layers of natural tannin structure to the wine's palate. Also, this wine was left on its naturally settled yeasts and lees throughout its 4 months in neutral oak barrels, contributing to the finished wine's aromatics, complexity and mouth-feel. 160 cases produced. Did you know that Malvasia Bianca is one of the world's most historic grape varietals?? It dates back to ancient Greece over 2000 years ago and today is often used by historians to track the migration patterns of early European settlers!! LOLA Malvasia Bianca comes from the same vineyard as our Chenin Blanc, 45 year old vines on land planted in 1974 just north of the town of St. Helena in Napa Valley next to Revana and Grace Family Vineyards. The soil is bale clay on a slight east slope drainage toward the Napa River. The grapes are large and plump on densely packed clusters formed on a vertically trained canopy to allow for maximum manageability of the wildly vigorous vines! In 2019, We picked at 22 Brix, 3.22ph, on September 12, to preserve natural acidity and vibrancy. 70% of the grapes were then whole cluster pressed and the juice allowed a native cool fermentation to dryness in neutral oak barrels maintaining temperature throughout at under 72 degrees. The other 30% is fermented on the skins and pulp which adds layers of depth to the mouthfeel and firm natural tannins to the structure. This wine is racked once at bottling and has minimal S02 additions of under 35ppm total from harvest to bottling, when it is bottled unfined and unfiltered. The resulting wine is fresh, bright and crisp on the palate and intense floral aromas of Orange Blossom, Nectarine and Apricot. 124 cases produced. Our Chenin Blanc comes from 45 year old vines on land planted in 1974 just north of the town of St. Helena in Napa Valley next to Revana and Grace Family Vineyards. The soil is bale clay on a slight east slope drainage toward the Napa River. The grapes are very small and concentrated on loose clusters formed with a California sprawl canopy to allow for maximum airflow and even ripeness of the individual berries. We picked at 22.5 to 23 Brix, 3.3ph on September 19, to preserve natural acidity and vibrancy. The grapes are then whole cluster pressed and the juice allowed a native cool fermentation to dryness in neutral to 4 year old barrels maintaining temperature throughout at under 72 degrees. This wine is racked once at bottling and has minimal S02 additions of under 35ppm total from harvest to bottling, when it is bottled unfined and unfiltered. The resulting wine is fresh, bright and crisp with a hint of mature oak tannin on the palette and aromas of Jasmine, Pear and Apples. 130 cases produced. LOLA Artisanal Zinfandel comes from our small 1 acre vineyard located just east of the town of St Helena on the Napa River. The soil is very rocky mixed with bale clay, providing excellent drainage and allowing us to focus the vineyard toward to quality and concentration. This heritage clone Zinfandel was originally planted in St Helena in the late 1800' s. We' re proud to have gained some cuttings of this clone to graft onto this special piece of ground 4 years ago. The grape clusters are large and loose, showcasing an excellent balance and brightness in the finished wine. In 2018 we picked this on September 25th, towards the very end of a long beautiful Napa Valley growing season. The grapes came into the winery at 23 brix and 3.3 PH. The clusters were then de-stemmed and allowed to ferment with the their native yeasts in an open top tank maintaining a cool temperature throughout fermentation to preserve the fresh bright fruit characteristics. Aged in Neutral oak for six months, the finished wine is bright and fresh on the palate with aromas of wild red fruits, sweet tobacco and bay leaf. 60 cases produced. LOLA Artisanal Series Cabernet Sauvignon is a bright, pure expression of Napa Valley Cabernet, reminiscent of the old days of the 60's and 70's - wines that are still aging and tasting beautifully today. The 2018 vintage was one for the ages due to the extremely long, moderate growing season throughout until early November! This provided slow gradual ripening of our Cabernet Sauvignon, allowing the full lignification of the stems and seeds, and near perfect balance of natural tannin, sugar and acid within the grapes. The wine shows an intensely dark ruby color with aromas of red plum, black cherry and currant gracing the nose. On the palate, firm structure and natural tannin provide a gripping intense mouth-feel falling of into a long supple finish. This wine will continue to get better and better as the years go by and will age beautifully for up to 30+ years.
