    Make sure you ask for a paper copy of your ticket before you give them your credit card. Our server added an entree that we didnt order to our check and we didnt notice it until we got home.

    The food is impeccable…taste, temp, freshness, flavor and portions. Service is so good and everyone seems appreciative and welcoming. Great menu, fair price. And an elegant environment. Always love going there.

    The waiter, Sathvik, would not leave us alone, he literally came to our table every three minutes.  First it was to get the order and we told him that we want to eat appetizer first, he kept coming back to take our order, then the food came out really fast, which is fine, then he kept asking us about dessert when we were still eating dinner, and then the check 3 tines. it was like he wanted to throw us out, I would really have appreciated some relaxation time during my dinner, which was very expensive but the food was very good and that's why we come here, but I do not appreciate the irritating service, they were tables there before we came, and no waiter went and bothered those people. The 2 of us had a $160 meal without alcohol. Satvick needs to give people space and time to talk

    This place is mostly for ambiance not for food. If you are looking for good Indian food, there are a lot of other options around town. But if you want to impress someone with the ambience only, this is the place.

    My husband is British. Indian food is to British as Mexican food is to Texans. My husband could not stop smiling during our entire meal. We knew it would be good when we first tasted the tandoori chicken from the appetizers. We were even more delighted when the entrees came! I got the classic chicken curry and he got the Chettinad Chicken. They were both absolutely delicious. The naan and paratha were also delicious! We will most definitely be back! Great service from Eric, too! We would post pictures but when food is this good you just eat.

    Just an amazing restaurant. Drinks are amazing. Every dish that came out of the kitchen looks amazing and what we ordered was delicious. I can’t wait to go back.

    The quality of food (vegetarian entry) was not up to the mark. No taste to it! The tandoori roti served was not fresh. We requested a crisp roti and what we got was a burnt stale roti. Finally they brought a fresh warm roti which met our expectations but they still charged us for the bad quality roti.

    Came in for lunch to celebrate an anniversary. This is our family’s fourth time there and unfortunately the quality of food, service, presentation have all gone down. Quite a bit. Four of spent $225 for lunch without alcohol and we probably wouldn’t return in the near future. Hype may have taken over the great quality and service we experienced on our first few visits.

    As always, we had a great dinning experience! The food is amazing and our server Asahh, I could be spelling wrong, was great. We had him the last time we dined here and he was wonderful then too. We love this place, yummy, clean, great service, and pretty.

    Good service, great food. If you are used to spicy food, ask them to kick it up (as it is definitely tuned to the American palate).

    Mahesh is beautiful and the food was excellent. We loved the samosas, they were some of the best we’ve ever had! The service was attentive, kind and helped to elevate our experience. We will definitely be back!

    2nd experience of a Saturday night. Had booked a table. We were sat on time and then waited at least 10 minutes before any wait staff even noticed us. To get even a glass of water took 15 minutes. After a direct conversation with waiter he paid attention. Food is good but service slow and they don’t seem to care about some diners whilst over compensating with others. And to top it off they rushed the food out between starters and main course. Turns out they were keen to rush us out because they had another table. For a $200 dinner I don’t expect to be pushed out in an hour..we sat down at 8:15 and at 9:15 waiter tells me that they need us to move on because they have another booking even though there were other tables available. All in all the food is good but I wouldn’t recommend if you are looking for a pleasant evening out with family. And I certainly won’t be returning to this place. The service and attitude isn’t worth it. Oh..and noise inside is deafening..good luck if you have any hint of hearing issues

    We had heard great reviews about Mahesh’s kitchen so we were very excited to try it. Upon arrival, we were seated immediately and didn’t have to wait thanks to having a reservation as the restaurant was packed. Always a good sign right? Basically, this less than 5 star review boils down to service. This is a great place if you want to eat dinner, get in and out, but if you want an actual dining experience because you are celebrating something special like we were, this is definitely not the place to do it. The service was completely rushed the entire dinner, and we felt pressured to order even when we weren’t ready, despite our requests to the waiter that we would like to take our time. Our appetizers even came out before our drinks! You couldn’t even really enjoy the food because you felt pressured to move to the next course, or even just breathe between courses. Although the staff is very sweet, What we paid for dinner was not equal to the quality of service we received. Honestly, just disappointed.

    Amazing find. Found this place on Eaters and decided to visit it for a late evening wine and appetizers. The service was great. We tried shrimp Koliwada, Reshmi Kabob, and Avacado Bhel. Shrimp koliwada was just the way I remembered during my college days in Mumbai. My wife tried the pista kulfi - excellent. Wine selection was limited, however.

    Lovely upscale restaurant with great menu, drinks and service. Recommend the corn behl, any of the curries, goat biryani, garlic naan.

    Those who have spent almost half their life in India before migrating to USA and have often eaten out at Quality Restaurants perhaps may agree with me, some originality is missing. I gathered an impression, food is reasonably prepared for non-Indian origin patrons in mind. Overall good.

    I think the service has gone down since my last few visit. The waiter just took to long to come back to the table.

    The general manager of restaurant altered our 7.15 PM reservation we made at Open Table. to 8.45 PM and then made us sit in the open outside the restaurant stating that he can’t honor our 7.15 PM appointment for dinner. He was rude and insulting

    Another great night. Food always delicious. Not much meat in the lamb curry this time though. Also wine list is old. Been out of few over year now but still on menu. Great service! Looking forward to going back.

    This was our first time at Mahesh’s Kitchen. I am a big fan of Indian food so I was excited to try their dishes. I made a reservation, but the un-enthusiastic person behind the counter did not ask whether I did. His sweat shirt had seen better days and was stained in various places. We sat at a nice table by the window, the exterior was beautiful and clean. The restaurant is really beautiful. The waiter wanted to know if we were ready to order, no niceties were spared in welcoming us or asking if it was our first experience dining with them. The onion fritter appetizer was out of this world, soft and crunchy at the same time and not too greasy. Well done! The potato yoghurt curry and rice came out hot but my vegetable biryani and aloo gobi were room temperature. When I flagged down the waiter to tell him about it he actually asked me if I wanted to the food reheated. Strange. Yes please. No need to say that the service was very blah. I ordered one of their drinks (hibiscus lemonade) without the alcohol. The drink still came in a tumbler filled to about 1.5” of the glass and was super sweet. For $7 or $8, maybe make the non-alcoholic version in a tall glass with lots of ice so we feel we get our money’s worth? Not sure if I would go back. The food was good but there are other restaurants with equally good food with better service.

    It was a very nice experience, the restaurant is staffed well, and the ambience is light yet vibrant! The food was delicious and service was excellent. Our waitress checked on us from time to time, but it was not over bearing. For dessert we got the in house homemade Pistachio ice cream& strawberries. You must try it!

    To start with we ordered Delhi aloo chat and mushroom Manchurian. Aloo chat was way below expectations. Mushroom Manchurian was the best. In Our entree out of three dishes we ordered, Kashmiri Dum Aloo was way below to what we sometimes eat at a regular restaurant. Kaju curry and paneer makhni was ok. Laccha paratha was good. In dessert we ordered Shahi Tukda which was over sweet as if we were eating condensed milk only. Overall a very average experience for the $$$ spent.

    Its a great restaurant. Our server not very engaging, unaware of indian food or how to properly serve in a higher end establishment. Maybe they need better training? An indian restaurant that can't make or doesn't know what a Dosa is makes me wonder, but the waitress was completely lost and did not seek help.
