The food was outstanding, bursting with flavor and taste.
Marigold Maison is a non-traditional wonderful Indian Restaurant which we highly recommend. Everything is delicious. The owners are from the northern part of India.
Beautiful restaurant nice and clean. Food was great as we shared it with our group. One of my new favorites!
everything was delicious! I highly recommend this place
Service was great and food is good but vindaloo is HOT to the point you couldn’t really taste the flavors. We’ve had vindaloo at other restaurants and enjoy the flavor but this time was just too spicy.
Great food! Definitely try the “All-You-Can-Eat” Marigold lunch special. You can sample many different foods at once!
However, don’t plan on taking home any of your leftovers...they don’t allow it. I understand the no leftovers rule IF you’ve asked for refills on your first round of food brought to you....but NOT if you didn’t finish the food you were brought w/o asking for seconds!
We also found a language problem because twice our orders were incorrect. The problems were corrected quickly, but we felt uncomfortable asking them to correct things.
I love this place we go here for the lunch Thali platter special. Great food good service.
Food and service were good as usual!!
Food. Profile of flavors is excellent. The menu albeit Indian has some surprises that are fun and server, Julio says are popular.
Great food great staff!!
Excellent Indian food, with complex and subtle seasoning.
Always great food and service. My family's favorite Indian food.
Good food and quick service
Food was delicious. Our waitress and male server were great. Excited to go back!
Came in early and the food was delicious.
The food was amazing. The servers and kitchen were overwhelmed during lunch. The actual servers were nice, but it took almost an hour for us to get our food. Luckily, it was worth the wait. I had the chicken and paneer tikka masala with naan and rice and the mango lassi. So very good and fresh. I prefer a sit down Indian restaurant as opposed to a buffet. The ambiance is nice; upscale and serene.
Terrible service. Upscale prices for subpar food. Ordered a shrimp entree and it came with 4 shrimp. 4 for $12!
Decent Indian food but not great. We had just spent two weeks in India and the food in India is far better than this restaurant.
Best Indian food in the Chicago suburbs. Great with dietary restrictions! Specifically great with gluten, soy and dairy ( use coconut milk/cream instead) allergies. They cook with high quality oil and the food tastes amazing!!!! Highly recommend!
The waitress was so rude we almost left! I guess they close at 2:30 and we showed up ON TIME for our 2:00 reservation. She was mad that she had to wait on us!! Im VERY patient with people but I would fire this woman. Her “attitude” continued through the meal .. we were anxious to show off our favorite Indian restaurant to our Indian friends who were in from out of town and we were embarrassed by the waitresses behavior.
If this is the attitude condoned by the owners then they shouldnt allow anyone to make a 2:00 reservation.
We had to wait 40 minutes before our wine was served and a further 15 minutes before we got our appetizers!
I'm not a fan of Indian cuisine but thoroughly enjoyed dining at Marigold Maison the other night. The waiter was great and following his suggestions, I enjoyed my dinner.
A regular of ours.
We introduced friends who had not been before.
Very much enjoyed their visit.
Delicious food and great service!
The food was very good and served hot; even the excellent lentil soup. Service was prompt and attentive, We will be back. Having disappointing meals looking for a good Indian restaurant, we now have a place to return to.
Consistently great food and service!!
Few months ago when we went to have dinner, we chatted with the Chef and were impressed with what he is trying to accomplish. So went to there last Saturday with high hopes with my wife and a senior Professor at a University along with his wife who also holds a very high position at this University - and boy it turned out to be a mistake.
The girl serving us was in no mood to serve - she was not at all interested. Our appetizers came "cold", however, they were replaced when we requested. The curry that we ordered was "pathetic" in taste - somehow using heavy cream in curries is NOT the way to prepare these and the vegetables were all "RAW". I am not a professional chef, but am ready to do a showdown with the chef any day.
Good part were the different naans we ordered, but some of them were not cooked well in the clay oven.
My wife and I had a terrible after dinner taste - not felt good later in the night too. Overall, it was a horrible experience for all of us. NOT going there again and will certainly let my friends know too.
Mr. Chef if and when you read this - try to cook the Indian way - hope you get better tips from some successful Indian chef's - eg. Vikas Khanna and Vikram Vij. I have had food at their restaurants and that is called good Indian food.
You have a long way to go - at least try to improve upon the service.
Amazing meal. My group was very happy and well fed. THANK YOU!!!
Great food! Service was very good as well. Restaurant is quite loud, just know what you're getting into.
Best lamb chops around. Quality and delicious everything.
Food was very good. Flavors and quantities well done. Menu is not huge, but what they do is excellent. Plain atmosphere, but very clean and attentive service. I would definitely return.
Excellent food and service as always. Our go-to place for quality Indian food
I love this place. Sometimes at lunch the Thali Platter is a little tepid. But always delicious!
Great food. Fresh and hot. Service was great. Will be back.
Excellent food as always and lovely staff. Have been several times and thoroughly enjoyed it every time
We were big supporters of this place when they opened but it has gone downhill. Visited on s Saturday night, restaurant was maybe 1/3 full. Took twenty minutes to even have our server recognize us at the table. Ordered and apps took very long. The food has changed, maybe a new chef? The tandoori chicken was rather bland, did not taste like it was even in a tandoor. More like rotisserie chicken. We waited an hour for our food and when we asked to speak to the manager she said “we’re very busy, if you want to speak to the chef so he can explain how busy they are I’ll bring him out here”. Shocked by this response! We weren’t even rude... just asked if our food was coming soon. Ultimately we actually walked out without ever getting our entrees. Extremely disappointed all around, obviously no longer recommending this one.
This was our first time at Marigold. It was very good and prices were reasonable. Would definitely return:)
Wonderful food - The naan was incredibly fresh; Gobi Manchurian was crispy and terrific and the lamb chops were incredible.
Peas pulao and mango lassi are musts!
Been dining here for years. Addy is the best!!! She always wants to make sure your happy and knows your usual order!! The chef also is phenomenal!! My favorite Indian restaurant in Illinois!!!
Excellent for vegans and vegetarians too! Little pricey but worth it.
