Mariner's Harbor is a restaurant in the Kingston area of New York City. It is located within a historic building that was previously used as a newspaper office for more than 40 years. Different levels of the building are used for the restaurant and can be reserved for private dining events when required. The bustling downtown location of Mariner's Harbor makes it a fun and interesting place to partake in lunch or dinner. Lunch and dinner are available Tuesday through Sunday at Mariner's Harbor. There is a lot of variety on the menu to suit different desires, including seafood, steak, sandwiches, burgers and lobster. Some of the popular entrées include the Cajun rib eye, sesame crusted Ahi tuna, Dom's spicy noodle stiy fry and the Maryland crab cake sandwich.

Went here for New Year's Eve and had a good time. Wasn't too busy, but waited at the bar for about 15 minutes and enjoyed a drink before getting seated. The server didn't rush us and was super friendly. We had a great time chatting and enjoying out food. Would totally go back!

How is it possible to choose between fresh steamed lobster in the shell (1-1/4 lbs) and freshly cooked Prime Ribs of Beef ... each including soup or salad, veggies, and a dessert choice of freshly home-baked Apple Pie or Pumpkin Pie ... all for $19.95. Thank you Mariner's Harbor!!!

Service was at best sub-par. The food was hit and mis, a good steak and over cooked lobster. Lobster bisque that taste like tomato soup from Campbell's. I would not recommend or frequent again.

My cousin and I met at Mariners with our mothers. We each drove 2 hours, she drove from the north & I from the south. The first thing I said to the waitress was, "We are NOT in a hurry. We only see each other once a year". We ordered lunch and each ordered a salad. We no sooner started eating our salad and the hot meals arrived. My Salmon was so fishy I could not eat it, my Aunt'a steak was well done which was supposed to be cooked medium. Very disappointing and not worth the trip!

Great food, great view, great service. Had fish and chips that were great. Shrimp cocktail terrific. Red sangria and appletini was delicious. Husbands surf and turf was very good. Scenery is relaxing.

Very disappointed with the OpenTable reservation for this restaurant--nothing to do with OpenTable, but restaurant had us wait approx 30 min before seating us. They should not have reservations up and available on the site of they will not honor them. Menu was very limited and difficult to find a health conscious choice. Was surprised not too many salad options. Ambiance was fine--seated outside, which was nice, but at a plastic table and chairs.

This restaurant is still focused on the customer by providing great food and service at at very competitive price! Professional wait staff! My wife and I enjoy great food and they exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

We dropped in on the Kingston waterfront before a Friday night concert at the Ulster Performing Arts Center. There was never a question in our minds where to seek out seafood. Michelle was our charming and efficient waitress -- she made certain that my coffee cup never cooled off. As you might hope, local beers are a feature. The seafood here is good, with a nice variety prepared in several ways. You will also find beef, chicken, and pasta options presumably from the Little Italy sister restaurant menu. On a cold winter evening, we sat indoors, but the 'porch' area overlooking the Hudson River appears to be a lovely spot for dining in warmer weather. Parking is plentiful at meters along the Broadway and Rondout Landing. Another great reason to want to dine here is that the building used to be the home of the Kingston "Daily Freeman" newspaper -- what an excellent re-use of a historic structure. Props to the owners and staff. The next time we drive down to Kingston from Albany, we shat head straight for Mariner's Harbor.
