The food was fantastic, service was good. The restaurant was quiet. But all good!
The restaurant was very nice, great view and great atmosphere but the portions were pretty small and the food wasn’t as great as I was hoping for. The burger bun was soaked through from all the grease and the pasta portions were small and relatively plain. Overall a good experience but not as great as we were hoping.
Amazing food, great vegan and vegetarian options! Service was perfect and staff (Konrad) was very knowledgeable.

We thoughly enjoyed Maxx's Kitchen, we went for Christmas day Dinner. Although it was a bit more expensive than alternatives, they were able to take our booking on short notice and was a very nice experience throughout. There was a delay with one of my friends meals in that I had finished before he had started which was very messy. The host did feel very bad and gave us a round of drinks to make up for it. I felt that it was not a common occurrence and normally food arrived together.

My husband ordered the veggie burger and upgraded his salad to Caesar salad without bacon
The salad came with bacon and two bugs crawling on top
We let the waiter know and he was apologetic
My husband was too grossed out so he asked for green salad instead
After we paid we realized that we were charged for the upgraded salad price and not the green salad
Overall price was not worth the food especially if cleanliness is missing :/

Overall, very good. My fiancé and I got the Nonnas veal sandwich - very tasty. However, I did have a problem with the staff. On multiple occasions we were asked if our plates could be cleared - while there was still half a sandwich/fries- we felt totally rushed. Definitely do not recommend this restaurant if you are trying to have a relaxing dinner.

Not the best first impression. Server was slow with getting drinks and forgot them the second round. Fries were cold and had to be returned. Came out hot but undercooked the second time. Overall nothing special.

Really extensive lunch menu including great healthy, vegetarian and vegan options. The king oyster mushroom entree with lentils is stellar. Service was very attentive too. I'd definitely come back!
this was a three-generation brunch prior to Cirque Soleil. The waiter was very good when approaching the youngest of the party (ages 5 & 7). And was equally pleasant & informative re the menu choices for the rest of us. Everyone ordered something different and everyone quite enjoyed their meal.
The brunch menu is varied & interesting, and the view out over the lake is special. Would definitely go again - and BTW - if you are attending a nearby event: eat at Maxx's, comp your parking and walk there.

We took our one year old son to Maxx’s Kitchen for his birthday dinner. All of the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Made it a delight to go out with a baby. Would definitely return!

Would have given Overall 4 except we were 2 adults and a teenager, all women, and were offered a poor table in a corner. I had made a reservation. We requested a change and were given a better table. Prices were expensive but they were in line with other luxury hotels. Service was excellent. Food excellent.

Celebrating my husband’s birthday
Food was tasty though a bit pricey. Sever kept disappearing. We were there in the evening and will go back during the day for the view. Very nice atmosphere and decor.
The location was great for us because we were going to an event at Ontario Place. That would be the only reason I would go back. The service was outstanding, but the food wasn't great especially for the price of the item menus. Noise level was very loud and made conversation a bit difficult.
Went for a birthday dinner before a Cirque show. Menu was reduced to half the normal selection. Prices were high and food quality was moderate to poor. I won’t be going back.

Love this place. Been a few times for events across the street. Awesome.
I liked the place a lot and my date also enjoyed it. Very friendly staff and our server was amazing and very helpful and professional. The food was great. I had the mouthed watering lamp chops and my date had the Cornish hen. We had also 2 appetizers, the fog flat bread was very unique and we had spinach artichoke dip which was pretty good. The dessert was good too. Defiantly will come back to this place again. On top of that the view was beautiful. Thanks for great experience
We felt the alcohol was way to pricey. The food was good. Main courses were a tad expensive as well for what they were.

Hotel is beautiful and the food was excellent for the value. Our waiter, Jake was amazing and made our first experience there memorable ... great server
We are so happy that we found Maxx's! Our server, Jake, was attentive and helpful, the steak was cooked perfectly (I'm very picky) and the atmosphere was trendy casual which is just the right amount of fancy for our casual style. I would easily recomment Maxx's to a friend and I look forward to going back for seconds.
It is clear the restaurant is run very well by excellent management. Everything was perfect!
Four of us decided to eat at Maxx's Kitchen before going to Cirque based on the reviews I read and boy, are we glad that we did! The food was very tasty and the service was fantastic! The view was nice and the price point was great. It was a little noisy for our liking but we would definitely eat there again!

Excellent experience, Konrad our waiter was exceptional with best meal recommendations. Friendly and super attentive. In our party of 6, everyone was impressed with food and how our steaks were done.
The service was friendly and fast. We had the burger and it was delicious.
No real atmosphere. Average food quality. Ordered lamb chops medium and sent them back three times - still cooked well-done. Generally underwhelming.

We went to rascal flats concert. The server told us to have our friends park at the hotel there as they stamp the ticket and then they could park for free instead of at the parking lot for the concert. Thanks Conrad it really helped. Food was excellent.
Our appetizer took so long then the meal came immediately. The waiter said the kitchen burnt it. Sounds strange to me. Then the hostess validated my parking but when I went to pay for parking it was not validated. So I paid $30 parking. Not the best experience.

Our service was definitely not what we had expected. The most upsetting part of the dinner was the fact we order apps and were told that they would come out first and our mains later. We get our apps and literally 7 mins later our mains come out. It was a manager that brought them over and we pointed at our table and said we just got our apps. He just blankly looked at us and said would you like me to place these on the other side of the table. Unbelievable, he could see we just got our apps, so why wouldn’t he own the fact that the kitchen pushed out the food too fast. Also so weird being told that it was good to get our order in cause the kitchen gets backed up and it can take over an hour ? When true rest of our party came they were told if they wanted to add chicken to their salad, it would take min 30-45 mins. Totally an unfavourable experience and it has us considering cancelling an upcoming reservation at the hotel. There was clearly no drive to ensure customers were having a good experience. Brutal that it was known that our table was messed up and no supervisor came over to try and make things better.
