Rooted in Andean culture and the richness of the Quechua language, we invite you into the immerse culinary experience of “MAYU”; Quechua for celestial sky river. Located in the heart of Brickell, we invite you to the participate in the magic and mysticism behind Peruvian cuisine. Elevating Peruvian classic ceviches and sushis, including our signature dish: Saqsaywaman Alpaca Tiradito, MAYU is a semi-fine dining restaurant bringing indigenous cooking techniques directly from the the Andes.     The overall experience was amazing we went to celebrate my birthday and we had a great time the cocktails where amazing the food was outstanding and tasty but we order the octopus and it was not tasty at all plz hear me out!! do not i repeat do not order the octopus… anyways we had a great time the service was also amazing and we left full and happy i will tell everyone about it and we def returning

    The service was top notch! From the hostess, to the manager greeting us, to the servers, my party and I felt the warm engagement! The food was also very tasty! I mentioned that it was my partners birthday and several servers made sure to make him feel welcome.

    Lovely restaurant with a great vibe, awesome people, and wonderful food. On arrival, the hostess greeted us with a story about MAYU, the culture it draws from, and asked us to perform a simple hand-washing ritual that was very fun. I would recommend they ask the individuals "would you like to partake?" as it was more demonstrated, then assumed we would participate. I loved it, but I could see someone shy, or more averse feeling "pressured". Once seated, our server John was incredibly kind and helpful. He recommended two excellent drinks for us. The appetizer, Wagyu Anticuchero, was incredibly flavorful. Our two main dishes, the Lomo Saltado and Wild Challwa were fantastic. John then recommended a desert to us which was incredible as well. Very happy with the dining experience. Once the check came, I had to redo the math in my head to make sure a zero didn't get added by accident though. It's one of the best meals you can have, even if it means not going out again for a few days / weeks.

    Nice new peruvian restaurant in the Brickell area. Good food, fusion style of peruvian dishes. Great service, pricey for the quality of the restaurant and food but overall recommended as an experience. They are new and still growing. I am sure it will get better.

    Really enjoyed our meal. It was a Peruvian delight. Had some unique dishes with traditional Peruvian ingredients and sauces. Service top notch. I will definitely be back. If you want an excellent meal and service, I highly recommend Mayu.
