Good, interesting interpretation on pizza - needed a bit more structure and less chewiness. Small plates, nothing special here. Value for the money very misaligned.

Elegant setting and great food. Fall 2020 found 2, 3 or 4 course prix fixe menu. Neopolitan pizzas cooked in authentic wood-fired oven. Wine list is considerably expanded with wide selection of Italian, French and US wines.

Simply the best pizza I have had in northern New England. My partner and I make it a point to stop by at least twice a visit to Belfast. We always order more pies than we can eat to take home because we cant get enough of them! Amazing wine list as well.

I liked their Covid-19 protections, open door to let in fresh air, adequate spacing between customers. Masks required. Loved the food even though it is expensive!

Clementine was a delightful waitress and talented sommelier. My wife and I enjoyed a lovely meal.

Clementinea, the owner, is always a joy and the food is always phenomenal. We loved sitting outside in the summer air. I definitely prefer the full menu as opposed to the abbreviated menus, however I think this is due to COVID which is completely understandable. We go to Meanwhile at least twice a summer and will continue to!

Every aspect of our dinner at Meanwhile this past weekend was fantastic. We were greeted with a smile, even though we were a bit late for our reservation. Our table and seats were spotless and comfortable. Our server was informative and engaging, and the service was prompt and efficient. The food, though, was the absolute best part of the dinner. Every dish was prepared perfectly, full of wonderful tastes. We even tried a cotton candy margarita -- no kidding. It was fantastic! We can't wait to return for another superby dinner.

We had a wonderful meal at Meanwhile. What a find in Belfast. A beautiful bottle of wine, an appetizers of pea shoots prosciutto and avocado. Then a wonderful individual gourmet pizza follows by a delicious tiramisu. It was really delightful dinner

We always like outside seating with a view of the harbor. Creative cocktails, fairly priced international wine list, and excellent food, especially the pizzas. Careful appropriate Covid-19 precautions. A little bit of Italy in Maine.

Lovely atmosphere, personable waiter, terrific wine list, delicious food. Get the tiramisu - superb! Sat on the outdoor patio, very safe and comfortable. Lovely attention to the guests and their comfort

Loved the new decor but was surprises however by the carpeting.

The service was excellent but very expensive for just pizza although it was very fresh & good. Pasta dish was very small. Cheese platter was just a few pieces. Small pour of wine & very small martini. We went home looking for snacks & made some real drinks.

The food was fantastic! LOVE THE PIZZA!! We have been searching for authentic Neapolitan pizza since moving to New England from the Washington DC area 3 years ago where they have a number of excellent options. Who knew we would finally find it in Belfast, Maine? The 4 of us all got the Visionary - a simply perfect Margherita pizza! We also had 3 different salads that were all delicious with fresh local produce. The cocktails and wine suggestions were excellent as well. And finally, the tiramisu was a perfect ending to a delicious meal. It is a little hard to judge the ambiance during COVID but they seemed to be handling the adjustments well.

Meanwhile (in Belfast) is a favorite of ours. I've never had anything on the menu I did not thoroughly enjoy. Every aspect of the restaurant is thoughtful, so you really cannot go wrong. The summer tasting menu is fantastic.

We had an amazing dinner in the patio. Pizza was absolutely divine, and the the wines complemented the food. Tasty charcuterie plate as well. We took the tiramisu to go and it was also good. We also appreciate the COVID precautions the owner and her team implemented.

We had a fantastic meal with phenomenal service. We didn't take advantage of any wine or cocktails because it was 'a wok night' but we're heading back on Friday to try something! A great upscale food destination for Belfast, ME.

We all had different pizzas. Each was excellent and a little more than one person could eat. An Italian style meal: we enjoyed a cocktail, then the meal with a bottle of wine from the extensive list, without being rushed. Allow two hours for a liesurely time.

The food is fabulous. The grilled peach and goat cheese bruschetta was perfect. The pizza crust is think and chewy, toppings are fresh and well balances. Servers and friendly and knowledgeable. Love this spot!
