   Our experience at Meat Maiden was absolutely Devine. The food was to die for, the service was superb and the ambience and overall vibe was intimate and relaxing. My partner and I both had a wagyu steak that melted in our mouths. It is the best steak I’ve eaten. I will be returning to Meat Maiden when I am in Melbourne again. I cannot recommend it enough!

   Last nights dining experience, I feel compelled to share my concerns. Our main meal took nearly two hours to arrive, resulting in three inquiries and complaints. After repeated dismissive responses from our waiter and two other waiters, a gentleman finally acknowledged our concerns and apologised for the delay. Despite the initial dismissive attitude, it became evident that the waitstaff’s behaviour was not only unprofessional but also immature and disingenuous. Their attempts to conceal the two-hour delay and interrupt our conversations to understand the reasons for the poor service were highly inappropriate. We had previously visited the restaurant three times, and last night’s occasion was a special celebration. As a gesture of goodwill, the restaurant deducted a credit for a glass of wine and a Coke, as well as a Mac and cheese dish, from our bill. However, the expectation that we should pay for the extended dining experience, despite the cold food, was unacceptable. It was particularly disappointing to see our waiter, who had been outside smoking cigarettes, laughing as we left the restaurant. This incident left a lasting negative impression on our experience. We will not be returning to the restaurant and will not recommend it to others. The combination of poor service, disrespectful behaviour, and inadequate compensation made it an unsatisfactory dining experience.

   Elizabeth was an excellent server, she had great knowledge of offerings and was there for anything we needed. The food was brilliant and exceeded any expectations we had. We had the set menu option and every dish was of the highest quality, we didn't want it to end! Thanks to the entire team for a great meal and experience

   My husband is a very strict carnivore, due to health reasons. The meals were fairly good. But it is disappointing when we go to a specialised meat restaurant and the meat is not sensational......

   The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful and receptive. All Food was very good - only drawback was the meat was pre-sliced, which should be an option. Good value for money and great selection of wine & beers.
