I was had booked a table fir my daughters 12th bday. The server forgot about the desert and had to remind him the food and ambiance was great..

We came here for a birthday dinner for my friend. The food was amazing however the waiter and service was very slow. At the end of dinner we asked for a dessert for our friend to celebrate her birthday. He brought the desert out with no candle. It was a simple request. It took him 5 to 10 more minutes to go find a candle. Just a long delay for such a simple request. I ruined the night. Don’t come here if you have a birthday celebration. Just for dinner is OK. The food is really good

I've been here earlier and have enjoyed the food a lot. Service needs to be a little bit faster, but the food makes up for it!

It was a great experience from ambiance to the food. The server was great as she made the extra effort in ensuring we had the right pairing of wine and food with complimentary tasting 🍷..

Amazing food, attentive staff !

This is now the second time we've come here and it's the service that is awful. First time they forgot several things we ordered and second time it's took 1.5 hours for the food to arrive and that is after we asked what was taking so long and gave us a $7 discount. It's a sham cause the food is good but for the cost of the food and service it's honestly not worth it at all.

Great and nice

Mesa did an excellent job of implementing COVID risk-reduction practices - very spaced tables, professional staff all wearing masks, etc. We felt very safe going to dinner there.

Very special place. Food is some of the most delicious I’ve had in a long time. We had the falafel balls, chicken and shrimp skewers, artichoke flatbread and cheese and honey appetizer. Everything was amazing. I can’t wait to go back!

Food is always great - so fresh and flavorful. Brussel Sprouts and Chicken are a must.

Had a reservation and was seated right away but no one ever took our entree order. Sat there for 1.5 hours with one drink and one appetizer. Had to leave and order door Dash for dinner. We spoke to the manager and he apologized and took our drinks off the bill.

Service started a little slow, not enough servers I think. The hummus, octopus, salad and falafel, as well as the cocktails, were all perfect. Outdoor area was nice. As it got a little chilly, the heaters in between tables were just right. Not too hot, not too cold. Really a great, not to be missed, dining option in San Jose.

Amazing atmosphere/vibe! Best outdoor heaters I've experienced during Covid. Tons of fun cocktails, great wine pours, and shareables/family style was incredible. TRY this place!!

First outdoor dining experience in 6 months!
They did a great job with setting up the tables for social distancing. All waitstaff wore masks.
Lovely atmosphere near the fountain.

Fish dish was excellent according to my friend who ordered it.

The food was so expensive yet the quality and food was not good.

The lamb skewer was dry; the Branzino fish was to lemony/sour that it took away the naturally buttery taste/flavor of the fish.
Not sure if I want to go back...

The food was “ok”...more hype than anything else. I don’t have a problem with the cost but our $250 dinner w/o wine was not worth it. Very disappointed!

Great food, excellent service, had a good time

The Brussels sprouts were delicious!! The mushroom tagliatelle was also great — the noodles tasted handmade, but we thought it would have tasted even better with a little truffle oil or something like that.

The restaurant itself is beautifully done as well. We snuck a peek inside, and are very excited for when indoor dining opens. The patio is very modern and airy too. Looking forward to coming back!

I love this place! I love everything about it, the food, location, ambiance and service too. Too bad the inside is not being utilized due to CoVid otherwise outdoors are spacious but they’ll need heat lamps when wether gets cold. Everything is super flavorful & healthier options, although some are on the smaller portion side.

The outdoor dining is spacious and nicely done, away from the crowded street. We just did tapas and a salad. (Hummus, octopus, feta kabob.) Everything was delicious. Service by Margarite was friendly and professional. Really worth going for a wonderful meal.

We had a sampling of small dishes and they were delicious. Standouts include the swordfish kebab and the hummus - the hummus! The cocktails are very pretty and made with care. Our server also took good care to note our variety of allergies and new the menu and ingredients very well.

Good food, well spaced tables outside. Service and staff were helpful, knowledgable about food and preparation, and food was served promptly.

The chicken kebab was undercooked but the crispy brussel sprouts were incredible. The falafel bites were very good. The portions are small but tasty. Service is a little slow given the number of people working. All in all an average experience.

Excellent food. Clean and well-spaces tables. Service was slow on this particular night. Highly recommend the food. We had several dishes and all were delicious and well-seasoned.

Cocktail was great well balanced. Not too sugary not too spicy, flavorful. Perfect.
The service was lagging, the girls brought cocktails but didn’t remove the empty glasses, same for dishes. So our table for 2 was piled up. I guess they are short in staff, didn’t seems like it though.

Server was very educated on the menu and super sweet. The menu was so fun it was hard to decide but we loved the beet dip, Brussels and octopus the most. Nice cocktails as well and heaters for dining al fresco. I was comfortable late into the night in a tank top in my seat on the booth. Would 100 go again!

Amazing food, service, and ambiance even with COVID-19. Super recommend! We did our 6-year anniversary here.

Teething problems? First time running a restaurant? 5% service fee that's removable upon request?

Not sure what's going on. Our server was pretty good and knowledgeable. Friendly as well. We asked to change the music, as it was not dinner music, didn't match the theme of the restaurant, and another server said she couldn't change it. She said only the owner could change it, and he's not here.

Really? Only the owner can change it? And he's not on site?

Then, one of the staff members clearing the table at the end of the meal drops a greasy knife on my shirt and pants, staining it. Apologetic, and only offers me soda water to clean up it. Pretty minimal don't you think?

Lots will need to change before I go back.
