Messob Ethiopian Restaurant
We enjoyed the food - easy to get a seat and casual dining.
This has been a favorite from when I used to live in the neighborhood. I have tried other Ethiopian restaurants since moving away, but this is still my favorite and close enough to my current location to get to easily. The injera bread is just right, not too sour as some other restaurants are,. The staff is friendly, attentive, but stays low key, in the background, and unobtrusive.
The food is very authentic. I always have the Ethiopian spiced tea and share a combination plate. We had more people this time so we opted for an additional fish dish of fried tilapia chunks. It was a good choice!
We went on a Wednesday, so it was pretty quiet. I have seen it packed on weekends though, but it's always pleasant atmosphere.
The food was excellent.
