   I had a lovely experience at Mexican Sugar! The customer service, food, and overall ambiance were exceptional. Truly TOP TIER! Our waiter, Justin, was incredibly attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. This time, we tried the brunch menu, but I’m excited to return for lunch and dinner on another day. Looking forward to visiting again.

   Our server and the rest of the staff made our night. His name was Edgar C and he took incredible care of us. Food was delicious, hibiscus margarita was amazing, and awesome prices!! So many places in Houston overcharge for mediocre food and drinks but not here. I eat an autoimmune diet, have several allergies and they were all taken very seriously and were very accommodating. Will be back!

   The food was excellent and our waiter was very good, so it's definitely worth a visit. Really loud though. Hard to have a conversation and it wasn't nearly as full as it could be. The music was loud and people get louder as a result. Plus, it's a big place so the noise bounces off the walls and ceiling adding to the animated atmosphere. Basically it's a one to two syllable restaurant in terms of conversation. Like, "Hey, how ya doin'?" "Good, and you?" "Great." "Yeah, that's good." If you want to use multiple syllables you might be disappointed.

    Food came out cold after an hour wait. I was with a big party so I’ll have to try again with a smaller group. Overall terrible experience.
