Walked in and was greeted immediately. Very friendly staff. Food was fantastic. Wedge salad, meatball appetizer and lobster bisque soup delicious. But the best part was the main course, marinated skirt steak with bernaise sauce was the best I’ve ever had. Tender, juicy, flavorful and cooked perfectly. Expertly caramalized garlic slivers in my spinach were a wow for me. The potato croquettes, why can I say, cheesy and crispy and the only thing that could have been better would have been 10 more of them. My wife had the mustard crusted Salmon and she’s still raving about it. We will be going there more often. Great find. Worth the $$$.

Mill Creek’s always good and we’ve been coming for years. Went for my birthday and had a good snitzel and drinks. First time eating inside in about a year, but pandemic aside, the outdoor dining during the warmer weather was enjoyable and a good option as well. Looking forward to coming back again.

Nice place in quiet Bayville. Good wine list and cocktails. Great and varied menu. Big portions. Cozy place on a cold winter day. Service was terrific. Owner comes around to ask how dinner was. Would definitely frequent again.

My friend and I always visit the Mill Creek Tavern for our joint birthday celebration. Vanessa was our server and she was a delight - jazzing up our dessert orders with sparklers!

Friendly staff and service - very easy to make online reservations through OpenTable and have no issue with availability. Face masks are required for all staff and guests - separators are up for social distancing. Maintain 6 feet apart for social distancing and no parties greater than 10. Food is great - can't go wrong with anything your order...and they have specials as well. Manager and staff check in on their customers frequently which is a plus.

Touchless payment option is available. Just scan the barcode on your receipt to make payment.. their system will capture the payment and send you a receipt to your email if you request. Your server will confirm as your tab will come off their system and reflected as paid.

It’s always a pleasure to dine at Mill Creek Tavern and this was no exception. The service was friendly. Bread, beverages and appetizers were brought out quickly. Food was brought out at a reasonable time. We ordered 2 entrees from the daily special menu and 1 from the regular menu - all were thoroughly enjoyed.

The owner Rich and manager Will make you feel like part of the family and eating outdoors with the propane heater kept us comfortable during the whole dinner

Food was delicious, service was the worst !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sit down at 705 pm waiter finally shows up at 730 pm after repeadly requesting the busboy to get him . Waiter Takes our drink and food order ,drinks show up 15 minutes later . At about 830 pm our appetizer shows up, and at 832 pm so does our dinner orders ,which we sent back . After finishing our appetizer ,the food shows up Luke warm ,but we are too hungry to complain . I just don’t think anybody in there right mind would think this is acceptable. The manager on our way out , apologized ,gave us a gift card , after other people complained and sought him out and pointed us out .Other tables near us had the same complaints . I didn’t expect this kind of lack of hospitality, after eating at Mims there sister restaurant many times .

The food was excellent but service left something to be desired. I think it may have been our waiters first day and was still getting the hang of it. I saw the service at the other tables seemed to be appropriate so I wouldn’t write off the place for that issue. I’d try it again because everything else was very enjoyable. Everyone has to start somewhere right. He has potential just needs to hone in on timing a bit.

We go here all the time, great restaurant for the family, or going with our friends. Always good food, good drinks and classic ambience!

Terrible experience from one of my favorite places. 7pm reservation had to wait to sit 15 min. Not bad. Order our drinks and a app and our entrees. We get the drinks and apps within 20 min. Not bad. Then a hour goes by and we haven’t gotten our food. Another 30 minutes goes by and nothing. A bus boy asked if we were still waiting for our food. He was just as shocked as us. Manager comes over and asks how it’s going and we tell him it’s been a hour and a half and our foods not here. He goes in the kitchen we hear yelling and then he walks out the far kitchen door to avoid us. 15 more minutes to by we see our waitress and ask what’s going on? She said there was a delay with take out and our food is up now. I asked fur the check and left. I will never wait almost 2 hours due a pasta plate and a half rack of ribs. They can’t handle weekend takeout and dining in. Not to mention a lack of competence in the manager and waitress to not come explain what’s going on. Instead let reserved, reoccurring paying customers wait almost 2 hours to leave, drive back 40 minutes home, and have to pick up Wendy’s on the way. You ruined one of my favorite restaurants ever. Worst dining experience ever!!

We've been to this restaurant several times. I understand it happens but they were overbooked, and overwhelmed. Everything, the drinks, food you name it came out so slow it was silly. We ordered a special and it took our waitress 30 minutes to come out and tell us they ran out of that. All of our dishes were lousy. They'd been sitting in the kitchen. The waitress was not providing any answers she kept shrugging. We finally called a manager over he was lovely, truth we should have been comped for the meal. We weren't the only people complaining. I understand the place was busy but get some extra help and make your operation run smoothly. And serve food that you'll be proud of.

Delicious food, as always. Service was slow/poor, however. Took over an hour for our main course to be brought to our table.

Love this restaurant! Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Staff goes out of their way to accommodate you!

We waited for about 15 minutes past our reservation time. Upon getting to the table our server was very nice. We ordered our appetizers and didn’t see our server for 15 minutes after that to order our entrees. We ordered a round of drinks and our entrees at the same time. We then again didn’t see our server until after our appetizers were finished and still no drinks. That was about 30 minutes. She then came back and said she completely forgot to even put our drinks in due to the fact that she was busy. Drinks then again took another 20 minutes and my drink was again forgotten. After my drink finally came she asked if we ever got our appetizers. We’d already been at the restaurant at this point for almost an hour and a half. She forgot to put in our entree orders. Our food didn’t come to our table until 925. Our reservation was at 7:45. A manager never came to the table as requested. Overall the experience was pretty terrible. The food was decent. But we definitely won’t be coming back.
