I ordered the ultimate menu 3 course , and was disappointed by the golband snapper dish, which was so bland and was not seasoned at all , I was advised that the broth should add the flavour but didn’t happen when I scooped it , I believe it could be better and tastier in this type of restaurant .
The food and service were excellent.
The only thing I could pick was the rush to get us ordered and feed.
We are staying at Crown Towers for or 32nd wedding anniversary and booked in at 8pm for dinner.
We thought we would sit and relax with a drink and entree first then have our main a little later.
But everything was brought out so quick the we had finished entree main and dessert by 8.40.
Simply irresistible food and cocktails paired with outstanding service!
Four of us dined here last evening. Food and service were excellent. Highly recommend and will dine again.
- [x] My dining experience at Modo Mio was amazing. I had a dinner reservation there for 10pp to celebrate my birthday. Upon arrival we were immediately seated & cushions were provided to accommodate my physical disability. Our waiter was fast, attentive and efficient. The meal options were terrific & the food itself was cooked to great satisfaction. Venue is a classy, reasonable and excellent choice for dining - and very considerate of people with disabilities.
Food was amazing and service was exceptional
We had booked for our daughter's birthday, the food was delicious and the staff were very attentive. A lovely touch was dessert being served with a candle and "Happy Birthday" written in chocolate. It made for a very memorable evening.
Wait staff were exceptional.
Beautiful staff, helped choose wine as well as were very friendly.
Quiet, friendly and superb food and service
Food is great, house wines are crap! and far too expensive. Should have WA wines at reasonable prices
Unfortunately it wasn’t a great experience, food wasn’t worth the price and pasta was bland and undercooked. :(
Not enough food on plate. Below average flavours. Uninspired food
I was very underwhelmed by Modo Mio, and will not be recommending or revisiting.
Two of the four dishes we got were nice enough, but the other two were very sub par. Pasta dish was way too salty. But the worst dish was a white anchovy terrine. The fishy taste was overpowering and muddy. Quite unpleasant aftertaste.
Both dishes lacked freshness, and felt mass produced. I didn't even want dessert afterwards, and that's saying something!!
We have been to Modo Mia on several occasions and have always had fantastic service and delightful food.
Had a beautiful meal and the staff were exceptional even going the extra mile with a special desert plate for us as we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary
We were very happywith our meals at modo mio. Serve size was perfect, price veryreasonable and service excellent. Would definitely recommend
Lovely waiter and delicious food! Made my birthday very special
If there was an 11/10 option for this restaurant, that is what I would rate it! Impeccably presented, happy, inviting staff. Hot, fresh, soft bread. Tasty, tender, melt-in-your-mouth meats. Wine, wine, wine! Treat yourself. We'll be back next time we visit Perth!
Absolutely fantastic, the meal was delicious. I highly recommend the steak. One of the best I have ever had!
Amazing food cocktails and service
Staff were attentive and friendly..food was fantastic..great night
We ordered prawn pasta and free range chiken with roasted vegetables.
For such a popular resturant, I expected that the chefs know how to cook a simple pasta but it was 'uncooked'. The roasted vegetables were staple.
Anyway, apart from food, dishes were well presented and the staff were friendly and proffesional.
Booked in to Modo Mio for a late anniversary dinner, with no regrets! The food is spectacular - transports me back to dining in Italy. The taste sensations are authentic (being an Italian myself). Being seafood lovers the options to choose from are numerous with the aromas and flavours putting us right there on a little table on the beach on the Adriatic Coast of Italy, waves lapping on the sand.... deliciously dreamy!
Our service was excellent... just the right amount of interaction for us. Everyone enjoyed their meals. The Orecchiette reminded me of the cavatelli and broccoli “peasant” dish I was taught how to make years ago by some Italian women I worked with in the US. It was delicious and I’d choose to dine here again just for this dish. Hubby enjoyed the rack of lamb.
Our waiter didn’t let us know specials, we had to ask, she didn’t know and then struggled to tell us.. spaghetti with chkn and maybe some sort of vegetable as side hmmm. Waiters should know the specials. She also spilt our drinks all over the table..
not the best experience for the price
Excellent venue, food, service and atmosphere to celebrate on Christmas Eve with the family.
The staff were lovely, we were served bread and water upon arrival. They supplied us with a children’s menu for my daughter and happily listened to her numerous stories. Neither of us could finish our meals so it’s more than affordable. I would suggest sharing the kids pizza and ordering sides if going with only one adult and a child as the serves were very large.
excellent food and a lovely restaurant
We had a lovely evening. The food was delicious and the staff were helpful and friendly!
Excellent service, great food and wonderful ambience.
We partook in the set menu ($68 for 3 courses).
There were 3 choices for 1st and 2nd courses, 2 choices for dessert.
There was no mention of one of the 1st courses being raw.
One of the 2nd courses was lamb, and it was literally a hunk of lamb shoulder with 2 pieces of wilted spinach beneath the meat - nothing else to accompany it (vegetables - especially potato, would have been nice).
As such, the food was barely consumed at all, not very pleasant.
The service on the other hand was very good.
Modo Mio never disappoints! The food, service and ambiance are all excellent. We will be back again!
Fantastic quality of food
Even had Congratulations written in chocolate
on my daughters desert plate as they knew we were celebrating her academic achievements for 2019
The service was quick and efficient and we felt looked after well. The staff was friendly and non intrusive.
The only disappointing part of the meal was veg main course (Ravioli ricotta e spinaci). I felt main course was lacking in flavor. However my hisband throughly enjoyed his main course Pappardelle con ragu di brasato
The dessert was as expected / recommended - Tiramisu
Having said the above we will be definitely visiting it again.
This is our third time at Modo Mio and we have enjoyed it thoroughly again. From the wonderfully cooked pasta to the yummy garlic bread (my favourite) to the attentive staff and the general ambience of the restaurant. Great menu, varied wine list and all personal requests dealt with without any fuss. We will return again and again.
We celebrated our 3rd anniversary at Modo Mio and it was a perfect choice. Lovely atmosphere, not at all noisy, delicious food and excellent service. Highly recommend.
The food and service was excellent. This was our first visit and certainly wont be the last.
Great food and a nice restaurant. Some Italian music in the background would have been nice.
Service was excellent; waiters were really attentive and nice to talk to. All meals were extremely filling. Didn’t realise we’d be given complimentary bread so ordered garlic bread and felt like I filled up on bread before I started, so I wouldn’t recommend ordering too many starters. Noise level was a bit high but it was still a very pleasant experience.
