Montana's BBQ & Bar - Dartmouth Crossing
The food was very good, it was a busy time, so the service was a bit slower than usual but that’s to be expected. Will definitely go again, but not all the time as it’s a bit pricey for the 4 of us. We did get good potions, but the cost of the entire meal is not something we could do on a fairly regular basis. But it’s always good for a few times a year.
Server was great, food was decent. I had the big smoke, which is what I usually get, but every piece of meat was especially dry. It tasted like it had either been sitting out too long or reheated or something. Usually it’s very good, though.
Usually go there. But our food was bad. Steaks were cold and not cooked as we requested.
Shrimp skewers were cold .. and kinda nasty
Liked the new look and our server was excellent. Music was too loud it was hard to hear our conversation - only complaint :0)
Made a last minute reservation no problem online. Food was good, very busy but waitress was great.
Unfortunately there were ants crawling on the table, on the floor under the table and on the condiment shelf on the wall at our table. Food was good, however some meat was tough. We weren’t asked if we wanted desert or any further drinks. We did advise the waitress of the ants

Love how they have switched to paper straws and paper take out boxes but would love to see an eco friendly option for the finger wipes even just a bowl with lemon water does wonders for sticky fingers.
2nd annual grading day with grandchildren. Great time and will repeat!
We had asked for a quiet area as our son is sensitive to noise. They gave us a call beforehand to tell us about graduation parties happening there as an FYI. They sat us in a perfect booth that was pretty quiet. On top of that, we had the most amazing waitress we have ever had, Sali. Definitely a memorable experience, we will be back for sure. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone. Really great service!
We did not receive a high top table but a regular one so that was a disappointment as that is what we reserved. Secondly, I have been trying to load the Montana's app for the last 2 visits to obtain our free appetizer and that hasn't happened yet. When I spoke to the waitress about it, she went away asked questions and came back with a suggestion that I had already tried. She also suggested getting her manager to come over and "talk to you about it", but by that time we were ready to get on with the meal.
The restaurant was not overly busy but it was very noisy. The servers were good. The food was nothing special. My wife had the fish tacos that were very tasteless. I had a burger and it was good.
We have been there, many times before. However, this was the less friendly and the service was not as good as previous times. A little disappointed.
We have been coming to Montana's for many years now and still enjoy coming. We find the value is not quite as good as it once was. The portions seem to be smaller and a tad more expensive relative to the size of the meals.
Everything I ate was very good, especially the cauliflower appetizer, and the shrimp appetizer. My main course was the sweet with heat skillet, or whatever it was called. Very tasty, and cooked very well. My husband always has the macaroni cheese, and says it is the best in the city for him. One of my sons had ribs and although I don't like ribs myself, I have to say that his portion of ribs did not really amount to much as far as quantity goes. He was left with four rib bones after he ate the meat, but I do know that there is not a lot of meat on four ribs. He had a huge pile of fries which he didn't finish. He said his meal was ok.
Our server was great. She was extremely attentive and helpful, not to mention patient when we had to wait for one of our party to arrive.
All in all, I do enjoy eating at Montana's.
I had called to make a reservation at Montana’s for the closed room. No one answered so I left a message. I didn’t hear anything so I made the reservation online with the same request. When we arrived for our reservation someone else was in the room and would be way past our 7 pm time slot. I said well why did the on line reservation allow me to make one if it was already taken. She said the online reservation doesn’t notice the overlapping of reservations and that I should have called. When I said I did but no one returned my call. She then just said well I am sorry so can I seat you in a booth or table. I asked for the least noisy spot which happened to be the coldest spot. The service was just ok. We were there when it was 7 pm on a Wednesday night and the service was still slow and plates when they arrived were missing items, ie: the cornbread. The noise level is horrible even with a smaller crowd
We normally LOVE Montana’s, this was our first time at this location. Service was very slow (server told us from the beginning she was new) spinach dip was dry, not near as good as it usually is, took almost an hour after our appetizer was cleared to get our main courses. Ribs were dry and only warm, Nashville chicken sandwich was tasty, but barely warm, bordering on cold. We would have informed the server, but she didn’t come back and we were on a time crunch (by this time we had been there almost 2 hours). Not overly impressed at all
It was our anniversary ordered a table for 4. had to add 2 more in plenty of time for staff to arrange to put us in a booth that should hold 6 people. the booth was cramped my wife was jammed into the corner hitting her shoulder and arm on a piece of rough trim on the back wall, picking her sweater.we didn't say anything. I knew I would be commenting on this site as I have in the past. Starting new years eve I have made several reservations this year, you can check your records. I hope my next reservation for 6 we won't be jammed into a space for 4. PS our waitress was was great, best service ever.

Ribs on Rib night were very slow in coming out - waited 20 minutes for 2nd rack to come out and ordered them when meal was delivered to table
Waffle chicken sandwich was cold asked if it could be hot
I’m quite certain the staff out back put my meal in the microwave for 5 minutes as it was hard as rock when brought back to table
Gave up at this point and returned meal and had toast when I got home from Montana’s
I reserved a table online with OpenTable - restaurant had my reservation but not my request to sing happy birthday to my daughter
Why have a “ request” on the reservation if it can’t be fulfilled
Brought all this up to the manager of the night

Great to have reservation option. Would not consider otherwise. Pretty much as expected for very casual dining. Food was ok and service was cheerful.
I found our server to be rather stand of ish, like we were bothering her by being there.
But the rest Aurangzeb was very goid

Good time with friends
Had a issue with some of our meals new years eve , I brought a group of 8. On jan 13 my wife and I went back to have our favorite Country Fried Chicken, I told the server about the problem She immediately got the manager, I explained the problems was with the food not the server, She apologized and gave us a $10.00 coupon for next visit. We have been back and used our coupon already. Very good place to eat.
Food really good. Waitress didn't visit often and we had to wait for cutlery as our food sat in front of us.
Slow service. No apps or dessert ordered and we were there for 2.5 hours, with a toddler.
We had a bad experience!!! I love Montana's and probably go for supper with my wife once a month. This was a rough night ... Service was extremely slow, it tools us 2.5 hours to have an appetizer and our mains. 2 meals were ordered one way and arrived different. 3 out of 4 of us got our meals and it took 15 minutes to get the 4th meal. All the meals arrived cold and the waitress seemed clueless.
The service here was amazing. We ordered an appetizer and our food came without it so we asked and it turned out the waitress hadn’t heard us order it. She asked if we still wanted it and we said no worries we were already eating. Five minutes later the manager came over to ask about the situation and offer us the dip on the house. When we said really it was fine we were full she insisted and offered it to go, still on the house. The service was really outstanding and the food came fast even though it was busy. We will definitely go again.
