Outstanding!! The steak was perfectly cooked & melted on our mouth! Very accommodating and understanding when was not satisfied with the cheese in salad.

This experience wasn't what one expect at a fine dining establishment. It took ten minutes to be acknowledged when we arrived to be seated. We had reservations on this particular slow Monday evening. When seated we waited over ten minutes before a server came to the table. The server was wonderful once we were acknowledged. The entree my companion ordered was "out" and they had to offer something else. The food they brought him was undercooked and not to his liking. It was sent back. Overall the experience was a 2.5 in my book out of 5. For an experience that was $400 I would have preferred a different establishment.

Started with Lobster Bisque (very good); then had the 8oz Filet with Lobster tail and Spinach finished with Creme Brulee. I never ran out of water or Clase Azul Reposado, Jaun was GREAT

My daughter’s 15th bday. Every thing would have been fine if we had a decent waiter. Are waiter was very forgetful .. are steaks where served and had to wait a good 30 mins for the sides he served only 3 of us are drink while the other three waited another 15 mins to get their beverage .. It was horrible service . The steaks where great and they had my daughters name on the menus Thats was very nice.. But it was a wasted 788.00 dollars n change because of the service
I will never take my family back

It was my birthday and my first time here and the service was incredible! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful! I really enjoyed my time here and it was my first time in SF so this was definitely the highlight of my trip!

We celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary and were greeted with warm wishes and given a menu that said “Happy Anniversary”!
We loved the friendly service and people and are very thankful for making our anniversary so special!
The food was delicious and did not disappoint. We did a three wine tasting with our meal and the assortment of wines were delicious as well.
Thank you again for a great dinner and wonderful memories!

I have the Sea Bass and it was cooked perfectly. It is said do not order fish at a steakhouse, but at Morton’s the fish was excellent!

There didn’t seem to be sufficient number of servers so service was not up to the standard of past visits to Morton’s around the country. Waiter apologized but still was unavailable.

Waiter was nice but not nearly attentive enough and sometimes forgetful for how expensive it is. I don't mind paying extra for wine, but double the store price is ridiculous. Don't ever get the poke tuna appetizer, it's flavorless and there was hardly any tuna. The Cajun ribeye is delicious and was cooked perfectly. The Augratin potatoes were awesome.

I normally love Morton’s but this wasn’t a great experience. We weren’t greeted when we entered. No one was overly friendly. No one apologized for the wait we had, even though we had a reservation. They didn’t tell us they were out of items on the menu until after I tried to order them. Just poor experience overall for a want-to-be high quality place.

The server was not professional at all. Disrespectful and inattentive. The rest of the crew was great as well as the food. A shame this one person ruined everybody else's work.

We were very disappointed in the service at such a reputable restaurant that we had been excited about experiencing during our weekend visit to San Francisco. The food was really good but the waiter, Juan, seemed to think our decision to try the Chefs Menu 3 course special was not worth his time. He initially told us there was no special, then when presented the email he realized what it was. Sucked his teeth when we opted no wine selection. Neither of us drink alcohol but do enjoy a good meal. He never engaged us, made us feel welcome or appreciated and was very short. When he brought our dessert he presented it very fast and never bothered to ask if we wanted coffee which we did. We noticed the manager, Curtis, mingling throughout the restaurant asking diners if everything was ok. He asked the table in front of us and next to us but completely ignored our table. I only learned his name after inquiring upon exit.
This is all coming after reading disheartening articles on how African Americans are treated in dining establishments based on what are believed to be poor tipping practices. My companion and I go out of our way to engage with waitstaff and leave above average tips. Being in the hospitality industry and customer service these things matter a great deal to the both of us. Being seated next to the exit when a better table is being cleaned is a practice that needs to stop. How can you expect anyone to want to tip or return when treated with such a lack of respect? Hopefully this review will help to create a better dining experience for future diners.

Our waiter didn’t seem to be too happy to be working. Don’t get me wrong he was polite. We wish He would have come back more often to check on us. And they got my husband’s steak wrong so they had to take it back. They brought it back again and it was slightly better but not exactly the way he asked for it so that was slightly disappointing. Other than that the food is good.

It was what we expected...and that is always good. The filets were superb. Both disappointed our favorite beefsteak tomato with sliced onion and blue cheese was not on the menu and could not be assembled by the kitchen! Always bothered by the large markups on wine and really no reason why classic steakhouse chains like Morton's have to be so pricy for non-business customers. But with a lot of expense account customers, this price point model probably will not change...

My last visit to Morton’s - pre/Covid was not a good experience. This was post Covid so I’m factoring that into my review. horrible - 35 year anniversary - got Jello chocolate pudding for desert - literally. Steak was prepared wrong - drinks were slow - service was slow. If you want a good upscale meal go to “Capital Grill”. Even the Morton’s in Chicago is terrible. Trust me stay away from Morton’s

If they seat you downstairs, just leave. It has the ambiance of an airport cafeteria. Kids running around screaming and the dress code nonexistent, sweats, gym shorts, anything goes.

$50 fillets were over cooked and undercooked (two ordered identically.)

300 tab for three people got us maybe three visits from the waiter over a 90 minute duration. We waited 20 minutes for a dessert menu long after our dinner was over.

Waiters could not care less, setting up little workstations on the floor to sort dishes right next to our table. Felt like I was kitchen staff gobbling down food amid a workshop.

Asked my family to dress up for a fancy dinner. Only thing fancy was the bill (that 300 didn’t include drinks.)

Just awful, only in business to scam tourists. Stay away.

Started out with reservations at 8, but didn't get seated until 8:45. Ended up being seated to a table with 3 babies crying and a table of 6 kids who were running around while the parents were at another table. Then, just when we thought that was bad, their fire alarm went off in the middle of dinner. Not a great experience but the meat was good! Can't say the mashed potatoes or corn were good. I was definitely hoping for a better experience since we were trying to celebrate with a nice, quiet dinner.

On our family vacation to San Fran, booked this experience for our “special” night out. The service was terrible. We ordered the 42 ounce porterhouse steak and filets. They were brought to the table and basically dropped off. A restaurant of this caliber should have the waiter wait for you to cut in to see if it eas prepared correctly. All of our steaks were wrong. The fillets were an easy fix as they were underdone. The porterhouse was overcooked. He made a new one, but we had to wait for him to return to table and we had to ask. Everyone was finished with their meals snd all the sides before the porterhouse was brought back to the table. And it actually was wrong again- it was way undercooked. We were so frustrated at this point. It wad a $500+ meal - I do not recommend this Morton’s.

Morton's is always dependable for fine service and delicious food. Certainly the Morton's near Union Square is at the top. Tom, our server, was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and ahead of the service curve. He is a real professional. This was a terrific dinner.

We went for a bday celebration. The waitress got our food order wrong every time. Didn’t mention the bar was out of the pistachios that came with my sidecar before I ordered it. She tried to tell me it was only on the picture until I read the drink breakdown to her. A couple came in sitting in front of us with a pungent marijuana smell. We asked the Mgr to either of us to be reseated. Steak came out wrong & the waitress started acting as if she heard wrong. The Mac n cheese was chewy. The bday dinner was a disaster and it was o my a party of 2.
