   I don’t like being charged a 3% surcharge to help pay staff. It was on our bill and I asked our wait person and she said she had no idea what it was. I asked her to find out and the manager came over to say it was part of the gratuity that everyone gets a part of. How come the wait person didn’t know this? I think she was just avoiding having to explain what it was. But our food was good. Atmosphere is nice. If you’re a foodie you will enjoy this place.

   Hostess and Server Matt were very pleasant. Drinks and meal were excellent. Dessert was great too.

   Mac was a fantastic server. Tried multiple apps and the carpaccio was the best. Great cocktails as well. We frequently travel to Vail and will be back to Mountain Standard. Great spot!

   Great food and service! Restaurant easily accommodated our food allergies. The manager stopped to chat with us. Music was a bit loud, but they happily moved us to a quieter section.

   Amazing food and service. Loved the crispy whole trout and wedge salad. The snickers ice cream bar for dessert was delicious.

   My dining partner and I chose Mountain Standard for a celebration dinner. We've both been for lunch but never for dinner. My partner has a tree-nut allergy and I am vegan so I called ahead to ensure we could be accommodated. Our waiter was knowledgeable of what could accommodate both restrictions, including an off-menu vegan entree option. My partner had the sea salt biscuit, pimento cheese, and the corned pork shank, all of which were phenomenal. I had the baba ganoush to start which was also phenomenal. We both had a few of the house cocktails, with the Cindy Loo Hoo being a particular standout. The one negative was the vegan option. The entree was a half a grilled zucchini, peas, and mushrooms. No sauce, grain, protein, or calories. It ended up costing $28. I understand not all restaurants can accommodate vegans but please, if you're not going to put together an actual meal, say so upfront so we know to dine elsewhere. As noted in other reviews, the noise level was on the higher side but nothing unmanageable or outrageous. All in all, we'd love to come back but would like to see a meaningful vegan option.

   The food was RIDICULOUSLY good!!! I could drink their ranch dressing (on the wedge salad) through a straw!! New BBQ’d shrimp was really good. Service is always so good here! Pleasant, easy-going, and we didn't feel rushed. Our server knew every nuonce of flavors that we asked about. ❤️❤️❤️❤️ this place!
