Great location with a soothing relaxing atmosphere. Food was delicious with friendly service.
Great place, great food
A great place w unbelievable potential. Fire pits were not lit on a Friday night which was disappointing and the overall service lacked a sense of timeliness. Menu options should be expanded and the appetizers are a pricey.
Great location and beautiful day for brunch. Dining on the deck overlooking the fields has a distinct bucolic flare. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre. The eggs Benedict had hard boiled eggs and my wife’s scrambled eggs request came back sunny side up and were hard too. It would not stop us from returning though if we are ever again in the area
We had an amazing time and the food was excellent. Only concern is we had to ask if there were any specials and our server said " yes, I think there is 1 ".
I then had to ask him if he could go and find out what it was. He did go and then came back and informed us of 2 specials.
As our first time there we enjoyed it very much . Wine was delicious and the food was very tasty . Can’t wait to go again .
We really enjoyed everything about Willows Awake winery! We cannot wait to have family and friends join us when we visit again. Great food, attentive and courteous staff and peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our waiter, Devon was awesome!
Great food, great homemade drinks, great service. Will be back again
Great ambiance and service! Their Cabernet wine was very good and the food was also very good. We will definitely return!
A lovely lunch on beautiful property. Excellent server snd chef who were very accommodating. My mom’s soup wasn’t as hot as she wanted since we were outside on a chilly September day. The chef didn’t microwave it, he/she put it on the stove and brought it to temperature. Quite an accommodation. The food was spectacular!
The setting is beautiful and the food and service was outstanding. Love this place!!!
Great place and wine
Wonderful atmosphere, staff and food! Would come back often if we lived in the area.
This place is on it's way to being really great. The space is truly lovely and elegant. On our visit, the inside was a bit chilly, but there were some thoughtful throws on the bench seating. The food was very good, although the portions were a bit small for the pricing (and I never say that).
Will definitely visit again, to do a wine tasting, try the fondue and experience this lovely place at different times of the day!
Very nice brunch with an old friend from high school. The waitstaff was very nice but did not know a lot about the food that I was ordering. The drinks were good.
Conversations from other tables seemed to carry very well to other tables on the deck. It was pricey, but it was expected going there. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the flat iron steak and my wife had the scallops. We also have the fondue as a starter, which could’ve come with a few more pieces of bread or crackers because there was a lot of fondue left over. The homemade dressing for the salad was very good. Server was nice, and friendly.
The charcuterie board was impressive. The deviled eggs were ok, but nothing special. Our salads that came with the meal was skimpy yet the dressings were good.
The main courses were good, nothing spectacular. I would eat here again.
We dined outside and it was very nice.
The wait staff was very good willing to go the extra mile in pleasing us. The drinks were a bit weak, caused by large glasses lots of ice. The food was five stars, though there was little variety of veg. and soup available. The price was on the high end.
We waited an hour for food then our food somehow came out cold, which specifically made the home friends inedible. Not to mention there was no seasoning on them. Got the corned beef hash Benedict. The corned beef pieces were MASSIVE chunks which made it difficult to eat. But overall the portions were small and over priced, not enough to leave feeling full. Our table was by the door that the servers were going in and out of to the patio on a cold day so we were getting cold over & over. Generally not a good experience. I wouldn’t recommend it nor will I be back for food.
Food was very good, service was goid. It was very busy and we were hoping to sot outdoors. The noise lwvel would have been easier on the ears if we could have, but overall very satisfied which isnot easy these days!
What a hidden gem this is! We’ve been a few times and we will continue to come back! The service, the food and the atmosphere is all wonderful.
What a lovely find in Maine’s countryside. Thoughtful menu, beautiful room and the outside seating was equally stunning. Our serve was Gabi who was courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, and timely. The food was really quite good. There’s another level though to get to that fifth star.
Had dinner here a few months back and it was awesome. Decided to go for brunch yesterday. Eggs undercooked for my mom and my eggs bene had solid yokes. Potatoes for everyone were cold. Dad had corn beef hash, it was chunks of dry corned beef not hash. I realize help is hard to get but not worth the money this trip. We will give it one more try soon.
Great place for 2-3 couples to go together, very good staff.
Very different menu. Everything served is fresh, attractive and delicious.
Not much choice for vegetarians especially for lunch and only one dinner entree.
Loved the setting and the food was amazing!
The atmosphere was great. Beautiful views. The food was under cooked but they did not charge us for it and they gave us a gift certificate. We definitely will go back and try it again.
Had a great evening at this restaurant. We were surprised to find a place with such a cool atmosphere and special food in this area. Plus- we loved the local wine!
Amazing dinner to celebrate a friends birthday.
Gabi was our server rocked! Highly recommend dinner. Hope Gabi is your server. Thanks for a great night.
Everything was fantastic besides the wait for food. Love the atmosphere and will go back
The atmosphere is beautiful! My salad was excellent, just not served exactly as described on the menu: tuna Niçoise salad was missing: potatoes; olives & tomatoes, which were listed as ingredients. It was still a delicious salad, just not served as written & no explanation of ingredients being out of stock, etc.
The scallops were excellent. The vodka blueberry lemonade was delicious. The owner was very friendly and the ambiance was upbeat and relaxed. We highly recommend Willows Awake!
The ambiance at Willows Awake is great. Our server was wonderful. I had the fettuccini dish to which I added chicken and it was delicious. My son had the braised pork dish and that was very good. We shared deviled eggs to start and they were good, but not great. They need to add more options to the dessert menu. Overall I would say that we'll definitely be back.
Everything was delicious and the view is beautiful! King red Cabernet is the perfect red wine. The charcuterie board was great, especially the homemade crackers and bread with the bacon jam. My steak was cooked a perfect medium with a great sauce over the top. My husbands pork was delicious. We will certainly be back!
Overall it was a great dining experience. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We were not rushed ( big plus ). We totally enjoyed our evening.
We have been to Willows Awake multiple times and have never been disappointed until now. We ordered the Braised Pork and it was different than in the past. It was VERY dry and the potatoes had no flavor/seasoning. We did not finish our meal. It was the busiest we have seen it which is wonderful for Willows but that made it very loud inside. The 4 of us had to talk loud to hear each other. The other couple had the scallops which they enjoyed along with the carrot bisque. The drinks were also very good. We will try again and will hopefully have a better dining experience!
Love it here - service today was very rushed
Appetizers not done and salad arrived
Salad not finished and main course arrived
Dishes cleared in lightening speed before the fork was down
Check delivered before dessert was finished
My other experiences here have been much better
Willows Awake is a beautiful setting for a nice relaxing dinner. If the weather cooperates and there are tables available, choose the outdoor porch for views of the vineyards. The food was excellent (Lemon caper chicken and Braised pork were our choices) and the service was equally so. We will be back soon - highly recommended!
Willows Awake is a pleasant change from chain restaurants and while what they serve is very good, their menu is not as broad as we are accustomed to.
Our only real disappointment was that our favorite Willows Awake wine (Haut d' T'aut) was not on the dinner menu. If you have not tasted this wine we encourage you to attend one of their wine tasting events where we were introduced to its incredible flavor.
Great atmosphere and even better food 💯
